Chris Soules turns farm charm into dancing dynamo at Mohegan Sun during a free Reality Check event. Join the star of The Bachelor as he shows off his ballroom skills with his Dancing with the Stars partner Witney Carson for a live performance followed by an autograph signing on August 14th in The Shops concourse.
Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to time restrictions, signing personalization or photos taken with personal cameras are prohibited. Headshots will be given out at the event. This event is bracelet-only. Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis. A limited number of bracelets will be distributed starting at 6:30pm at the signing area. Participants must have a bracelet in order to gain entry into the signing line.

UNCASVILLE, CT (July 6, 2015)- It is with great pleasure that Mohegan Sun announce the promotion of David Martinelli to Chief Marketing Officer for Mohegan Sun. In this new position, Martinelli will set the Strategic Marketing Plan for Mohegan Sun. Additionally, Martinelli will oversee campaign management and analytics, strategic marketing, special events, promotions, loyalty programming, bus marketing, hotel sales, and player development.
Martinelli started out with Mohegan Sun in the Budgets department in 1999 after finishing his undergrad degree at Brown University. He was soon after promoted to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, where he served for four years. His career then took another big jump when he became the Business Manager for the Connecticut Sun WNBA team. The very next transition came in the form of Director of Business Operations for Sports & Entertainment where he resided for four years. Before his current promotion, Martinelli served as the VP of Customer Relationship Management in Marketing.
Martinelli takes on his new position in Marketing as we start through a challenging time that will see increased competition in the Northeast gaming market. He brings with him strong and diverse work experience as well as excellent leadership capabilities. Martinelli is a Rhode Island native and currently resides in North Kingstown with his wife, Kerry, and two sons, David and Daniel.

UNCASVILLE, CT (July 6, 2015) – Mohegan Sun, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, WCTY and the New London Day are excited to announce that the MADD About Josh Turner concert will be taking place on Friday, September 25th at 8:00pm. Festivities will include a WCTY pre-Party, Meet & Greet and a silent auction.
Donations are $50.00 and $100.00 and go on sale Friday, July 10th at 10:00am at the Mohegan Sun’s Box Office and through Ticketmaster.com. Ticketmaster customers can also call their national toll free Charge By Phone number, 1.800.745.3000; or visit any Ticketmaster outlet. All ticket holders will also get access to the WCTY pre-party, taking place at The Cabaret Theatre from 5:00pm – 7:00pm, which will include food, drinks and live entertainment!
The VIP tickets priced at $100.00 will include preferred seating, access to the WCTY pre-party as well as a meet & greet with Josh Turner at 7:00pm.

Multi-platinum MCA Nashville recording artist Josh Turner is one of Country music’s most recognizable hit-makers. UNCASVILLE, CT (June 23, 2015) – Multi-platinum selling rock band NICKELBACK is forced to cancel all remaining dates of the second leg of the 2015 No Fixed Address North American tour due to lead vocalist Chad Kroeger being diagnosed with an operable cyst on his voice box. Kroeger will undergo surgery in 3 weeks following vocal rest ordered by doctors. This include’s Mohegan Sun Arena’s August 15th concert.

Nickelback cancelled shows over the weekend, hoping the additional rest and treatment would help but an unfortunate diagnosis from Kroeger’s doctor revealed a more serious scenario. ““I am sorry I have to interrupt the party this summer and I am definitely not thrilled with the prospect of being silent for many weeks to come when I could be out there playing for our fans” shared Chad Kroeger. “I am relying on my doctor and his team to help get my voice back in good form as quickly as possible.”
Kroeger’s medical team anticipates a full recovery and the No Fixed Address tour will resume with their previously scheduled European run, in Helsinki, Finland on September 30th.
Nickelback are expected to return to North America in 2016.

One of the most beloved and long-time performers at Mohegan Sun Arena, New Kids On The Block, were inducted today into the Walk of Fame
UNCASVILLE, CT (June 12, 2015) – Earlier today, Donnie, Joey, Danny, Jordan and Jonathan of New Kids on the Block entered the Box Office forecourt outside of Mohegan Sun Arena to accept their honor as the 30th Walk of Fame inductees. Senior Vice President of Sports & Entertainment for Mohegan Sun, Tom Cantone and Mohegan Tribal Chairman, Kevin “Red Eagle” Brown, spoke briefly through roars and screams as they introduced one of Mohegan Sun’s most beloved and all-time selling acts. “We love you all and we love Mohegan Sun Arena every time we play here. It’s also great because it’s halfway between our hometown and New York. We get the best of our fans here!” said Donnie Wahlberg as the cheers grew even louder.
The event took place today just after 4:00pm in front of many of NKOTB’s faithful and shortly from now, the band will take the stage at Mohegan Sun Arena with Nelly and TLC to open, as part of the Main Event Tour.
“Tonight will mark the 9th consecutive sellout for NKOTB and with one more, they will tie Billy Joel’s record. It’s a tribute to the great team here that runs one of the top Arena’s now in the world,” said Senior VP of Sports & Entertainment, Tom Cantone.
Kevin Brown also mentioned how honored he was to take part in presenting one of Mohegan Sun Arena’s best ever, their Walk of Fame star. He also gave praise to the hard work and high level of performers that Tom and the whole entertainment staff provide for fans on such a consistent basis.

NKOTB’s Main Event tour, scheduled for 7:00pm, will mark another sellout, one of many at Mohegan Sun Arena and will make the band the 30th act inducted into the Walk of Fame. The award seeks to recognize those individuals who have made significant contributions to the success of Mohegan Sun as the Northeast’s premier entertainment destination. All of the individuals inducted into the Mohegan Sun Walk of Fame will have their name engraved on a plaque that will be permanently placed at the entrance to Mohegan Sun Arena.

Celebrate the first signs of summer at Hot Summer Fun’s kickoff event, Sun BBQFest! Get fired up for some finger-lickin’ fun during Sun BBQFest. On June 13th & 14th, savor the flavors of the best barbeque around with festivities featuring live music, a beer trailer, barbeque battles and so much more you can sink your teeth into!
Mohegan Sun lights up the sky with an extraordinary fireworks display at the Mid-Summer and End of Summer Sizzlers. Double Up Mondays
Beginning Monday, June 15th, guests can earn double Momentum Dollars from 6:00am to Midnight. Bring a friend to sign up for a Momentum card and double the fun with $10.00 Free Slot Play for you both to enjoy. Season’s Buffett will offer two lunches for $30.00 from 11:00am to 5:00pm then two dinners for $40.00 until close. Todd English’s Tuscany rounds out the double deals with a two for $40.00 Tuscan table offer from 11:30am to 3:00pm.
Cash Dash Tuesdays
Let the money fly all summer long inside Mohegan Sun’s Cash Cube where up to $100,000 is given away every Tuesday. Beginning Tuesday, June 16th, every half hour from Noon to 2:00pm and 5:00pm to 7:00pm, one lucky Momentum member playing their favorite slot machine will have a chance to enter the Cash Cube. Power-Your-Play Wednesdays
All summer long, Momentum members can test their luck with PowerPlay Bonusing. Starting Wednesday, June 17th players can try their hand at Virtual Racing when earning 1 status point from 10:00am to Noon, 3:00pm to 5:00pm and 8:00pm to 10:00pm. Dance under the stars at GLO – the only nighttime pool party in New England, soak up the sun during three featured Day GLO parties, enjoy a drink under the world’s largest indoor planetarium dome at VISTA Lounge at Wombi Rock or party the night away at MIST, a steamy, contemporary venue that sits beneath the water wall in Casino of the Wind.

This summer, Mohegan Sun has your concert hookup with 34 concerts drawing a quarter of a million people this summer! The top-ranked Mohegan Sun Arena will be home to hot tours like Ariana Grande, Def Leppard, Shania Twain, Meghan Trainor, Rob Zombie, Idina Menzel, Kelly Clarkson and so much more.
