UNCASVILLE, CT (November 24, 2014) — Hot on the heels of a remarkable year that included performing the smash hit “Let It Go” from Disney’s Frozen at the 86th annual Academy Awards, a triumphant return to Broadway in the musical If/Then, a Best Actress Tony Award nomination and the release of this season’s must-have Christmas album Holiday Wishes, superstar Idina Menzel announced today that she will head out on a global tour in 2015. The North American leg of the tour, promoted by Live Nation, will begin July 7th in Richmond, Va. at the Altria Theater, making stops in cities such as New York, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Austin, Boston and Chicago before wrapping in Los Angeles on October 3rd at the Hollywood Bowl. If there’s one thing Kevin Hart can do, its sell shoes. If there’s one thing Kevin Hart can do better than sell shoes, it’s explode into one of the foremost comedians and entertainers in the industry today.
Hart has continued to work non-stop and 2014 is no exception. Kevin will next be seen in the Chris Rock directed film, Top Five, alongside Adam Sandler, Jerry Seinfeld and Whoopi Goldberg, and has already completed production on three other comedies slated for 2015, Screen Gem’s The Wedding Ringer, Get Hard, opposite Will Ferrell and Ride Along 2, the sequel to this year’s one-hundred-million-dollar blockbuster hit of the same name. Hart starred earlier this year in About Last Night, a re-make of the iconic 1986 film, which opened to huge box-office success as well. The consummate worker, Hart is a force in television too, Executive Producing the show, Real Husbands of Hollywood which premiered its third season in September. Kevin’s determination and work ethic is simply a roll-over from a banner 2013 where he starred in Grudge Match for Warner Brothers, opposite Sylvester Stallone and Robert DeNiro, and Think Like a Man Too, the sequel to its enormously successful predecessor, for Screen Gems. Kevin also released a feature version of his comedy show Let Me Explain, in the same year.
Hart began his career sizing men and women for footwear, when a chance, electrifying performance at amateur night in a Philadelphia comedy club changed his life. Kevin quit his shoe salesman job and began performing full time at such venues as The Boston Comedy Club, Caroline’s, Stand-Up NY, The Laugh Factory, and The Comedy Store in Los Angeles. However, it was his first appearance at the “Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival” that led Kevin into roles in feature films such as Paper Soldiers, Scary Movie 3, and Along Came Polly opposite Ben Stiller and Jennifer Aniston.
In 2012, Hart was tapped to host the 2012 MTV VMA’s, garnering much industry praise for his appearance, before his next comedy tour, “Let Me Explain” took him to 90 American cities along with Europe and Africa. Records have not withstood under his LME tour either, as Kevin became only the second American in history to sell out London’s O2 Arena. Kevin spent the fall of 2012 filming two movies back to back: Screen Gem’s re-make of Sexual Perversity titled About Last Night, and Universal’s buddy Cop movie Ride Along, opposite Ice Cube. Kevin continued his incredible run with a starring role in Screen Gem’s Think Like A Man, a comedy based on Steve Harvey’s bestselling book, which grossed $95 Million worldwide, and had a supporting role in the Universal, Nick Stoller comedy, Five Year Engagement, produced by Judd Apatow.
In September, 2011 Hart released “Laugh At My Pain,” the feature film version of his comedy tour (under the same name). The movie grossed over $7 million, and was 2011’s most successful film of those released in less than 300 theaters. The LAMP tour was so successful, it catapulted Hart to 2011’s number one comedian on Ticketmaster, and in February, 2011, he sold out the Nokia Theater for two nights in a row, breaking the record previously set by Eddie Murphy. This lead to the LAMP DVD hitting double platinum in February 2012, after being on sale for only a month.
Hart’s previous film credits include Little Fockers with Robert DeNiro and Ben Stiller, Death at a Funeral, Fool’s Gold and The 40 Year Old Virgin.
In 2009, Hart’s one-hour Comedy Central special I’m A Grown Little Man became one of the highest rated specials for the network, and in 2010, Hart’s DVD Seriously…Funny was one of the fastest selling DVDs, going triple Platinum, aided by and the Comedy Central special of the same name, which was the highest rated comedy special of 2010.
Hart’s other television credits include, hosting BET’s classic stand-up comedy series Comic View: One Mic Stand, ABC’s The Big House, which he also executive produced and wrote, and recurring roles on Love, Inc, Barbershop, and Undeclared.

Legendary Jersey Boys singer becomes 27th performer to receive Mohegan Sun’s Walk of Fame star!
UNCASVILLE, CT (November 4, 2014) — Mohegan Sun is pleased to announce that Frankie Valli was honored yesterday with a Walk of Fame award. Taking place on the afternoon before his show on Sunday, November 2nd, the legendary singer now joins an elite list of entertainers who have stars lining the forecourt of the Mohegan Sun Box Office. Accepting the honor before a big crowd of fans, Valli said “when they told me I was going to be awarded this Walk of Fame I was very grateful, especially as it’s coming from one of my favorite facilities ever.”
There’s something about Frankie Valli’s music that makes young people of every generation want to get up and dance. Amid the Disco era, the Seasons hit it big with “Who Loves You,” which reached #3 in 1975, and “December 1963 (Oh, What a Night), a No. 1 record in 1976. On the other side of the Atlantic, “You’re Ready Now” and “The Night,” which didn’t do anything in the U.S., emerged from dance clubs in the north of England to become huge hits in Europe. Two decades later, in 1994, a dance club remix of “December 1963” climbed to #14 in the U.S. on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2000, a French-language rap version of “December 1963” went to #1 in Paris. And a few years ago—a remix of the Four Seasons’ 1967 hit “Beggin’ ” became the #1 dance record in Britain.

UNCASVILLE, CT (November 4, 2014) — Dancing with the Stars, ABC’s leading entertainment show, produced by BBC Worldwide Productions, is bringing a one-of-a-kind touring production to Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, January 9th for an 8:00pm show . The official 90-minute live show, DANCING WITH THE STARS: LIVE!, produced by Faculty Productions in association with BBC Worldwide, comes to Mohegan Sun showcasing some of the faces from the show you know and love.

Concert hits Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, January 30th
UNCASVILLE, CT (November 3, 2014) — From their official website, LINKIN PARK has announced The Hunting Party Tour, featuring special guests RISE AGAINST and OF MICE & MEN. The tour kicks off Thursday January 15th in Orlando, Florida, and concludes February 14th in Edmonton, Canada. The Hunting Party Tour heads to Mohegan Sun Arena on January 30th for a 7:30pm show.
Tickets are $99.50 and $79.50 and go on sale Friday, November 7th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster. The tour will hit several cities that haven’t seen Linkin Park in the past several years, if ever. “Rock music was born in these towns, and for some reason these places tend to get overlooked much more than they should. We want our fans there to know how much they matter to us,” says Chester Bennington, lead vocalist of Linkin Park. “After crossing paths with these guys at festivals around the world over the past decade, we’re excited to finally share the road with Linkin Park,” adds Tim Mcllrath, lead vocalist/ guitarist of Rise Against. “We think this will be a great experience for all our collective fans.”
Austin Carlile, Of Mice and Men recently joined Linkin Park on stage in Los Angeles during the band’s hugely successful Carnivores Tour this past summer. “We are really excited to be joining Linkin Park on The Hunting Party Tour.
