Superstar siblings to tour North America in their own all-new dance production, including stop at Mohegan Sun Arena on June 22nd
Superstar siblings Julianne and Derek Hough will star in their own all-new dance production, Move Live On Tour, onstage across North America beginning May 28 through July, 2014. Move Live On Tour will be a complete stage production, with sets, costumes and a cast of talented dancers, with the Hough’s headlining in solo, duet and group performances in styles ranging from ballroom and tap to Salsa and Hip-Hop and everything in-between. The performance heads to Mohegan Sun for a Sunday, June 22nd show beginning at 7:30pm.

MOHEGAN SUN TO BE THE PRESENTING SPONSOR AND VENUE HOST FOR THE FIRST SPARTAN RACE HELD IN CT ON JUNE 28TH
UNCASVILLE, CT (MARCH 07, 2014) – Mohegan Sun announced today it will be the presenting sponsor and venue host for the Connecticut Reebok Spartan Race on June 28, 2014. This will be the first event for Spartan Race, the world’s leading global obstacle race series, held in Connecticut and pairs one of the fastest growing lifestyle sports with a world leader in entertainment and gaming.
The Connecticut Spartan Sprint presented by Mohegan Sun will stretch 3+ miles through the breathtaking Connecticut woodlands, combined with 15+ obstacles that include a spear throw, barbed wire crawls, rope climbs, and fire jump. The Mohegan Sun landscape offers everything from single-track trails to running along the scenic Thames River. Those who fail to complete an obstacle are required to perform 30 burpees, Spartan Race’s signature exercise.

UConn Wins Regular-Season Title
UConn earned the inaugural American regular-season title and clinched the #1 seed in the 2014 American Women’s Basketball Championship, to be held March 7th-10th at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. All 10 league teams will compete for the championship title and the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
The tournament field is based on regular-season league records. The highest six seeds earned byes into the quarterfinals on March 8th.
No. 1 UConn (31-0, 18-0 American) Clinched the conference regular-season title outright with a 68-48 win over Louisville on Monday. The Huskies will open tournament play at 2:00pm ET on Saturday versus the winner of No. 9 UCF and No. 8 Cincinnati.
No. 2 Louisville (28-3, 16-2 American) Opens tournament play at 6:00pm ET on Saturday versus the winner of No. 10 Houston and No. 7 Memphis. The Cardinals dropped their regular-season finale to UConn in front of a record crowd of 22,163 at the KFC Yum! Center.
No. 3 USF (18-11, 13-5 American) Defeated Rutgers, 60-51, on Monday to clinch the tournament’s third seed. The Bulls are 8-2 over their last 10 games and will open tournament play on Saturday at 8:00pm vs. #6 Temple/SMU.
No. 4 Rutgers (21-8, 12-6 American) Dropped its regular-season finale to USF, 60-51, and will face either Temple or SMU in the tournament quarterfinals at Noon eastern on Saturday. The Scarlet Knights are 2-3 over their last five games.
Temple (14-15, 8-10 American) and SMU (16-12, 7-10 American) Have clinched quarterfinal byes at the conference tournament. The two teams will enter the tournament at the No 5/6 spots with the exact seeding to be determined Tuesday afternoon after the UCF-SMU game.
No. 7 Memphis (13-17, 6-12 American) Clinched the seventh spot at the conference championship with a 53-47 win over Cincinnati on Monday. The Tigers open tournament play on Friday at 8:00pm eastern vs. #10 Houston.
No. 8 Cincinnati (12-17, 5-13 American) will face No. 9 UCF in the first round of the conference tournament on Friday at 6:00pm ET. The Bearcats dropped their final home game of the season to Memphis and are 2-3 over their last five games.
No. 9 UCF (10-18, 3-14 American) Wraps up its regular-season on Tuesday with a road game at SMU. The Knights will face off with #8 Cincinnati in the first-round of the conference tournament on Friday (6:00pm ET).
No. 10 Houston (5-24, 1-17 American) Takes on No. 7 Memphis in the first-round of the conference championship. Game time is slated for 8:00pm ET.

McLachlan has also revealed album artwork for Shine On, her first full-length recording of new material in four years. The new album was recorded in Montreal and Vancouver with Sarah’s longtime collaborator/producer Pierre Marchand as well as Bob Rock and Vincent Jones.
Sarah McLachlan is one of the most celebrated singer songwriters in entertainment with over 40 million albums sold worldwide. Country star brings his “Let It Ride Tour” to Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, May 30th with special guest Jack Ingram
Brantley Gilbert is kicking off 2014 in high gear with new music and a headline tour, which heads to Uncasville, CT for a 7:30pm show on Friday, May 30th. Impacting Country radio since its release, “Bottoms Up” is the most recent music the Georgia native has produced for his loyal BG Nation fans in over four years. The lead single from Brantley’s forthcoming album on The Valory Music Co. was made available in late December and quickly shot up the iTunes charts peaking at #1 on the Country Singles Chart and #8 All Genres. America’s favorite comic and the star of Comedy Central’s highest-rated specials, Jeff Dunham and his beloved cast of characters are bringing his “Disorderly Conduct” worldwide tour to Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT on Saturday, July 12th for an 8:00pm performance.
Tickets are $60.00 and $50.00 and go on sale Friday, March 7th through Ticketmaster at 10:00am. Dunham is best-known for his famed troupe of sidekicks who are on tour with him: Walter the Grumpy Retiree, Achmed the Dead Terrorist, the beer-drinking redneck Bubba J, the manic purple creature Peanut, the spicy pepper from south of the border José Jalapeño and Peanut’s own ventriloquist dummy Little Jeff, a mini-version of the ringmaster himself. Dunham hand-crafts each character personally and brings them to life on stage.
Dunham will be traveling the globe in 2014, visiting the UK, South Africa, Australia, the Middle East and Asia. This follows his travels last year visiting Scandinavia, Belgium, the Netherlands and Iceland, where he continuously performed to sold-out arenas.
Dunham fans, better known as “Dunham Maniacs” will soon get the chance to see Achmed the Dead Terrorist like he’s never been seen before when Jeff Dunham’s first animated film Achmed Saves America premieres in March of 2014. When Achmed visits Americaville, USA, he’s mistaken for a visiting French exchange student as he plots to destroy the town and all of its “infidels”. But, once he’s exposed to the sweet things in life in America — including all-you-can-eat buffets and frozen yogurt — Achmed’s campaign of hate turns into a patriotic All-American lovefest.
Jeff Dunham’s TV specials continue to be some of the highest rated on television. When Dunham’s Comedy Central special Minding the Monsters premiered to a viewing audience of 7.5 million viewers, it became 2012’s most-watched show on the network.. Upon its release on DVD, it was the #1 comedy DVD on Amazon.com and exceeded platinum sales within 6 days. It has already reached triple platinum status. Prior to that, Dunham’s 5th Comedy Central TV special Controlled Chaos, premiered to a staggering 8.3 million viewers and was a never-before simultaneous same day worldwide debut in a dozen countries. Dunham continued to break ratings records at the end of 2011, when The Bio Channel’s premiere of Jeff Dunham: Birth of a Dummy became the network’s top rated telecast ever.
