North American Tour comes to Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, January 9th featuring fan favorites from the hit ABC show
Mark Ballas and Whitney Carson are the first dancers revealed for the tour with more to be announced; Tickets on sale now
UNCASVILLE, CT (November 4, 2014) — Dancing with the Stars, ABC’s leading entertainment show, produced by BBC Worldwide Productions, is bringing a one-of-a-kind touring production to Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, January 9th for an 8:00pm show . The official 90-minute live show, DANCING WITH THE STARS: LIVE!, produced by Faculty Productions in association with BBC Worldwide, comes to Mohegan Sun showcasing some of the faces from the show you know and love.

Concert hits Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, January 30th
UNCASVILLE, CT (November 3, 2014) — From their official website, LINKIN PARK has announced The Hunting Party Tour, featuring special guests RISE AGAINST and OF MICE & MEN. The tour kicks off Thursday January 15th in Orlando, Florida, and concludes February 14th in Edmonton, Canada. The Hunting Party Tour heads to Mohegan Sun Arena on January 30th for a 7:30pm show.

The tour will hit several cities that haven’t seen Linkin Park in the past several years, if ever. “Rock music was born in these towns, and for some reason these places tend to get overlooked much more than they should. We want our fans there to know how much they matter to us,” says Chester Bennington, lead vocalist of Linkin Park. “After crossing paths with these guys at festivals around the world over the past decade, we’re excited to finally share the road with Linkin Park,” adds Tim Mcllrath, lead vocalist/ guitarist of Rise Against. “We think this will be a great experience for all our collective fans.”

UNCASVILLE, CT (November 3, 2014) —Multiple Grammy Award-winning singer and legendary performer Bette Midler announced today that she will return to the stage for her first major tour in a decade. The Divine Miss M’s national tour kicks off on May 8th in Hollywood, FL at The Hard Rock Live and will visit 22 cities nationwide, including a stop at Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, June 13th for an 8:00pm show. The tour is produced by Live Nation and Larry Magid Entertainment Group.
The tour will feature material from Midler’s iconic career and material from her new album, “It’s The Girls!” – a glorious tribute to girl groups through the ages. “It’s The Girls!” features the swinging sounds of WWII-era Andrews Sisters, to 60’s super-groups like the Supremes and the Shirelles, to 90’s hit makers TLC. The album will be released on November 4th on Warner Bros. Records and East West Records / Warner Music UK on November 17th, 2014.
Midler will make several major TV appearances this week including performances on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon (Nov. 5), NBC’s ‘TODAY’ show (Nov. 6) and LIVE! With Kelly and Michael (Nov 7). Midler released several track previews from the album including a breathtaking version of TLC’s Waterfalls. On stage she has portrayed such memorable characters as Keera in Kirsten Greenidge’s world premiere of Milk Like Sugar, for which Backstage hailed her as one of the“Most Memorable Performances”. The award seeks to recognize those individuals who have made significant contributions to the success of Mohegan Sun as the Northeast’s premier entertainment destination. One of Comedy’s best heads to Mohegan Sun on December 31st; Tickets on sale Friday
UNCASVILLE, CT (October 13, 2014) — The funniest, freshest face on television, Amy Schumer, will be bringing her blend of honesty and unapologetic humor to Mohegan Sun Arena for an 8:00pm show this New Year’s Eve.
Tickets are $45.00 and go on sale Friday, October 17th through Ticketmaster at 10:00am. Schumer is the creator, star, writer and executive producer of Inside Amy Schumer, the popular Comedy Central and Emmy nominated television series which premiered in April 2013 to the network’s highest season premiere ratings of the year. Schumer’s provocative and hilariously wicked mind is on full display as she explores topics revolving around sex, relationships and the general whirlwind life can be through a series of scripted vignettes, stand-up comedy and man-on-the-street interviews. The show will return for a 3rd season next year.
This summer she completed production on Universal’s Trainwreck that Schumer wrote and will star in alongside Bill Hader, Tilda Swinton and Brie Larson. Judd Apatow will produce and direct the feature film that is scheduled to be released in July 2015.
Schumer’s hit one-hour stand-up special, Mostly Sex Stuff, became Comedy Central’s second-highest rated special in 2012. She was also one of the featured comedians on Comedy Central’s Roast of Roseanne, which followed her memorable and quotable performance on the 2011 Roast of Charlie Sheen.
She was recently seen in such critically acclaimed series as FX’s Louie and HBO’s Girls. Previously, Schumer had a recurring role on the third season of Adult Swim’s Delocated, and guest starred in the latest season of Curb Your Enthusiasm.
On the big screen, Schumer filmed the feature Seeking a Friend for the End of the World starring Steve Carrell and Kiera Knightley, as well as Price Check, an independent feature opposite Parker Posey which premiered at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival.
