Charity concert featuring Country Duo Montgomery Gentry, slated for Friday, September 26th at the Wolf Den!
Last year, Mohegan Sun once again teamed up with Mothers Against Drunk Driving and WCTY for a great event that featured Country star Maggie Rose. This year, the partnership is back and this time Montgomery Gentry is calling on fans to come out to enjoy some great live music and take part in the benefit. ‘MADD About Montgomery Gentry’ will take place in the Wolf Den on Friday, September 26th at 8:00pm. This is the first time that a MADD event will be hosted in the Wolf Den, while it is the 6th year in a row that Mohegan Sun, in conjunction with WCTY and MADD, have hosted MADD. All proceeds from the event benefit MADD. Shelly Martinez, of WCTY, will be giving a special message before the show as well.
Tickets are $50.00 and go on sale Friday, July 18th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster.com and at the Mohegan Sun Box Office. VIP tickets are also available for $100.00 and will include preferred seating as well as a Meet & Greet with the band members of Montgomery Gentry.
All ticket holders will also get access to the WCTY pre-party, taking place at The Cabaret Theatre from 5:00pm – 7:00pm, which will include food, drink and live entertainment!
Admission to the Wolf Den will begin at 7:00pm. Prior to the start of the concert, guests will have the opportunity to participate in a silent auction prior to and during the performance, taking place at the Spring Gateway, just outside the Wolf Den and near the Box Office.

Interactive golf-themed advertising campaign debuts in financial district
Uncasville, CT (June 9, 2014) – Mohegan Sun is playing its hand on Wall Street with a golf-themed, interactive advertising campaign. The multi-media campaign encourages New York’s most competitive industry, suits in finance, to tee-up and take a swing at its creative storescape. The move is designed to showcase the destination as the perfect escape from the city, and more specifically to enlighten this group to the fact that Mohegan Sun owns a world class golf course in addition to its other amenities including a spa, arena, restaurants, shops, nightclubs and more.
The Mohegan Sun storescape will be live at 40 Wall Street throughout the month of June. On June 11th, 18th, and 25th, Mohegan Sun brand ambassadors will be on site to help passersby transform their smartphones into a virtual golf club. Players can then use their smartphones to drive their virtual ball through the fairway displayed on an 8’ x 10′ linked LCD wall. Participants get three swings per turn to compete in a longest drive competition. The player with the longest drive each week will win a trip for two to Mohegan Sun including overnight accommodations, dinner for two and a round of golf at The Mohegan Sun Golf Club.
Mohegan Sun has partnered with Media Storm, Monster Media, Taxi NYC and Primal NY all leaders in the interactive, creative advertising space to create, design and install this entertaining and visually informative display. With the goal of driving New York’s affluent, financial target audience to Mohegan Sun’s flagship property in Connecticut, while at the same time highlighting the property’s amenities.

appointment of George Galinsky to Senior Vice President of Marketing Communications for the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority (MTGA). Galinsky has been a large contributor to MTGA for the past 15 years. His main focus began at the flagship property in Connecticut, but his work has expanded to include all current and future MTGA owned and managed properties.

Connecticut’s Brennan Ward Battles Bellator Newcomer James Irvin; Main Event To Be Announced In Coming Weeks 
Bellator will kick off its highly anticipated Season 11 on Friday, September 5th as the promotion returns to Connecticut’s Mohegan Sun Arena to host Bellator 123 live on Spike TV. The night will feature the return of “The Irish Bad Boy” Brennan Ward as he battles James Irvin in a middleweight feature fight. The night will also feature the start of the Bellator Season 11 Middleweight Tournament. Participants for the eight man field as well as the main event of the evening will be announced in the coming weeks.
Tickets for Bellator 123 go on sale on Friday June 6th at 10:00am EST and can be purchased on Ticketmaster.com, Bellator.com or by visiting the Mohegan Sun Box Office. Ward returns to the Bellator cage after suffering defeat at the hands of reigning Bellator Middleweight Champion Alexander Shlemenko in March of 2014. UNCASVILLE, CT (May 22, 2014)- Mohegan Sun is pleased to name Lyndon Stockton the new Vice President of Casino Marketing. Lyndon was previously the Vice President of Player Development/New Markets for Mohegan Sun. Prior to that he served as the Senior Vice President of Relationship Marketing and Resort Sales for Revel Entertainment in Atlantic City.
In his new role as the Vice President of Casino Marketing, Lyndon’s responsibilities include the overall management and leadership of all Casino Marketing departments. He oversees Player Development, Casino Host, International and Domestic Independent Representative Programs and Hotel Convention Sales.
The industry veteran has worked for several well recognized casinos such as Trump Plaza Hotel & Casino, Harrah’s Marina Hotel & Casino and Caesars World International Corp. Lyndon spent much of his professional career with Kerzner International (Atlantis Resort) on Paradise Island, Bahamas.
Lyndon graduated from Upsala College in East Orange, New Jersey with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Management). During his spare time he enjoys golfing, reading, traveling and cooking.
