Country superstar will perform live in the Arena on April 8th & 9th with special guests Billy

Kenny Chesney’s “fans can count on his shows to be fun, fun, fun” (LA Times), and they can prepare to see “how deep this Country megastar’s talent really runs” (Chicago Tribune) as Chesney announces the first leg of what will be his biggest tour in five years. Country’s top-drawing act and the only artist in any genre to sell over a million tickets for eight consecutive summers will perform live at Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, April 8th and Saturday, April 9th with special guests Billy Currington and Uncle Kracker. The man the Associated Press calls “among the hardest charging acts on the road” is already excited about returning to the stage. “We’re going to be playing new songs and lots of old favorites, and I can already tell it’s going to be a lot of fun,” says Chesney. “I can’t wait to get back in front of my fans.”
Chesney took a break from the road in 2010 to record his new album Hemingway’s Whiskey (BNA Records), which entered the Billboard 200 at #1 (his sixth album to achieve that feat) and to produce The Boys of Fall, the documentary about high school football now available for pre-order at walmart.com and in Walmart beginning November 9th.

Lou Piniella earned three World Series titles (two as a player and one as a manager) during his forty plus years in Major League Baseball. Nicknamed “Sweet Lou,” he is currently ranked 14th all-time on the total managerial wins list. John J. Tunney III, a restaurant maverick who is best known for his high-profile, always-packed creations in New York, Connecticut, Las Vegas and Atlantic City, begins construction today on a 16,000 square-foot masterpiece at Mohegan Sun, to be named BALLO Italian Restaurant and Social Club. This will be Tunney’s 12th restaurant and his latest after receiving three consecutive New York Times “Excellent” reviews for his current properties.
Tunney’s Besito Mexican Kitchen and Agave Lounge, with three locations in New York and Connecticut, was recently named the #1 Mexican restaurant in the tri-state area by Open Table. Open Table also lists Besito West Hartford as the #1 most reserved restaurant (of any cuisine) in the state of Connecticut. This is no doubt due to Tunney’s ability to immerse himself in the culture of the cuisine and craft a property that embodies the spirit of that particular culinary experience.
BALLO Italian Restaurant and Social Club will bring Tunney’s same passion to the Italian experience with intense design combinations, exceptional service and a fresh, authentic menu of Italian favorites and new creations. Big Four is an all-male Hong Kong musical group formed by Dicky Cheung, Andy Hui, William So and Edmond Leung in 2009. They released their first self-titled single in 2009, which topped most of Hong Kong’s music charts.
