The hellbilly returns! The master of monster mayhem Rob Zombie will be live at Mohegan Sun Arena on Thursday, December 3rd at 7:00pm with his “Hellbilly Deluxe 2 World Tour.” Not since 1998’s super smash triple- platinum Hellbilly Deluxe has Zombie hit the road under that moniker. So get ready to scream!

This will be Zombie’s first headline tour since 2007 and will have other ghoulish delights in tow including openers Nekromantix and Captain Clegg & the Night Creatures last seen rocking Haddonfield and Michael Myers in Zombie’s new film Halloween II. The tour will usher in Zombie’s forthcoming album Hellbilly Deluxe 2 – Noble Jackals, Penny Dreadfuls and the Systematic Dehumanization of Cool (Geffen), a companion to the 1998 original.
The tour is hosted by Uncle Seymour Coffins, seen recently in Halloween II. Zombie will be accompanied by his longtime band mates — guitarist John 5, bassist Piggy D. and drummer Tommy Clufetos.
The “Hellbilly Deluxe 2 World Tour” will mark Zombie’s return to the road after much box office success as the writer and director of Halloween II (Dimension). His R-rated, animated feature, The Haunted World Of El Superbeasto, will also be available everywhere on DVD and Blu-ray September 22nd.
“I am bouncing off the walls like a mental patient,” says Zombie. “That tells me it’s time to take it to the stage and let the demons loose.”
Selling over fifteen million albums worldwide, Zombie is one of Geffen Records’ top selling and longest running artists on the label. He has written and directed five feature length films, directed dozens of high profile music videos, contributed recordings to multiple soundtracks and authored several comic books. Halloween II (2009) took hold of the box office recently, following-up his record breaking blockbuster re-imagining of Halloween in 2007. In 2005, Zombie assaulted the film world with the critically-acclaimed The Devil’s Rejects (Lionsgate), the follow-up to his already cult classic House Of 1,000 Corpses (Lionsgate 2004).

Currently on different legs of the sizzling summer tour with Blink-182 and Weezer, Taking Back Sunday and 
The All-American Rejects will continue to entertain fans this fall by launching a co-headlining tour in early November. This is the first time New York quintet Taking Back Sunday has toured with Oklahoma’s The All-American Rejects, and they will be performing live at Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, November 6th at 7:00pm. Both bands have enjoyed immense success selling millions of albums and touring worldwide and they felt that the time was right to combine forces for a series of dates. Florida’s Anberlin, who recently experienced some breakthrough success with a #1 Modern Rock hit off of their current album New Surrender, will join the bill as support.

Coming off of a sold-out world tour, multi-platinum recording artists The All-American Rejects are keeping busy. The All-American Rejects’ third CD When the World Comes Down is the follow-up to their double platinum release, Move Along. The first single “Gives You Hell” spent four weeks at #1 on the Billboard charts and sold over 3.2 million in digital downloads. The band has also been making the rounds on national television shows including the Today Show and The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien. Produced by David Kahne, New Again has earned effusive critical praise. Rolling Stone declared the track “Sink Into Me,” “the first song by an Emo-Pop band that the Foo Fighters wish they’d written: Catchy, lusty and sleekly propulsive.” They have been playing to sold-out audiences for months and recently headlined the Bamboozle Festival in New Jersey with No Doubt to a crowd of over 30,000. Weekend festivities feature culinary events, seminars and the Grand Tasting at Mohegan Sun on January 30 and 31, 2010
SUN WINEFEST, New England’s most spectacular wine and food event, returns to Mohegan Sun Saturday, January 30th and Sunday, January 31, 2010.
The weekend’s main event is the Grand Tasting, which will be held in the Convention Center from 12:00pm to 5:00pm on Saturday, January 30th and Sunday, January 31st. Sample more than 1,000 fine wines provided by international wineries and specialty beers from breweries and beer companies from around the world. Exhibitors showcasing related services such as wine storage, culinary accessories and specialty foods will also be featured. Guests will have the opportunity to ask questions, hear commentary from the winemakers and experts, and enjoy delicacies from some of the region’s finest restaurants by purchasing tasting portions of signature dishes at a nominal rate.

Special celebration September 6th to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) before MDA Telethon

Accepting her honor before a very large crowd of excited fans, a grinning Swift said, “This is the best start to my day ever! Swift’s first two performances at Mohegan Sun took place in 2007 where she was the opener for George Strait during his two-night stand in the Arena on April 26th & 27th. Then in 2008, Swift was the special guest on Rascal Flatts’ enormously successful Bob That Head tour, which played two sold-out shows at Mohegan Sun Arena on November 1st & 2nd. Since then, Taylor Swift has become one of the biggest names in the music industry, headlining one of the year’s most successful tours and achieving a record-breaking two-minute sell-out at Mohegan Sun for her show in the Arena on August 28th.
