UNCASVILLE, CT (April 8, 2024) – Veteran entertainer Paul Anka is returning to Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, June 1st to deliver over 70 years of his timeless classics. The show kicks off at 8:00pm.

One of the most successful singer/songwriters in music, with well over 900 songs to his credit and 100 million albums sold, Paul Anka has the distinction of being the only artist in history to have a song on the Billboard charts during seven consecutive decades. His instantly recognizable hits include “Put Your Head on My Shoulder,” “Diana,” “My Way” and “The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson” theme. Anka’s amazingly long career started in 1957, when his song “Diana” sold 20 million records, followed by numerous other hits, including “Puppy Love,” Lonely Boy,” “My Home Town” and “It Doesn’t Matter Anymore” for Buddy Holly, among many others.
At 81 years old, Paul Anka continues to write and record. His latest two albums, Making Memories and Sessions were released in 2021 and 2022 respectively. For more than two decades, the GRAMMY and Academy Award-nominated Rock band Counting Crows have enchanted listeners worldwide with their intensely soulful and intricate take on timeless Rock & Roll. Exploding onto the music scene in 1993 with their multi-platinum breakout album, August and Everything After, the band has gone on to release seven studio albums, selling more than 20 million records worldwide, and is revered as one of the world’s most pre-eminent live touring Rock bands.
In October 1996, the band’s double-platinum sophomore studio album, Recovering the Satellites, debuted at number one and further solidified their growing reputation as one of the leading American Alternative Rock bands in the world. UNCASVILLE, CT (March 21, 2024) – On Saturday, April 13th, guests are invited to head over to the 11,000 square-foot Mohegan Sun FanDuel Sportsbook to enjoy the adrenaline-pumping MMA Watch Party with Dustin Poirier. Throughout the event, guests who book a reservation via URVenue will have an exclusive opportunity to indulge in delicious food and drinks, participate in a meet and greet with Dustin “The Diamond” Poirier and take part in giveaways with the grand prize being an inclusive MMA trip for two to Las Vegas!
Seating for the MMA Watch Party with Dustin Poirier at Mohegan Sun FanDuel Sportsbook begins at 6:00pm and a reservation will give guests a chance to satisfy their cravings with delicious drink specials and delectable food from an incredible buffet that opens at 7:00pm. From 9:00pm – 11:00pm, guests will be able to step inside a replica octagon ring for a free meet & greet experience with MMA powerhouse, Dustin Poirier. Guests will be able to take a photo with Poirier and get one personal item autographed. Additionally, guests with reservations will automatically be entered into three giveaways that will take place at the end of the night. The prizes associated with these giveaways include two autographed MMA belts and a grand prize inclusive MMA trip, including airfare and accommodations for two, to Las Vegas! The drawing takes place at 10:50pm and guests must be present to win.
Attendees of the MMA Watch Party with Dustin Poirier will be able to feel the intensity as they watch the action unfold on the 140-foot video wall between Alex Pereira and Jamahal Hill when they go head-to-head in the main event. The preliminary card begins at 8:00pm and the main card will take place at 10:00pm.
