Sparking his career at the age of 12, Nick Carter quickly became an international pop superstar as the youngest member of the iconic boy band, Backstreet Boys. With his boyish good looks and heartthrob status, Carter’s 30-year entertainment journey has extended far beyond sold-out arenas, encompassing a diverse range of projects in television, film, philanthropy, and publishing.
The Backstreet Boys hold the distinction of being the best-selling boy band in history and rank among the world’s top-selling music artists of all time. The group solidified one of the largest record deals ever, signing a $60 million deal with Jive Records in 1999. Since taking the world by storm in 1995, the band has sold over 130 million records worldwide and has earned five Grammy nominations and countless Billboard Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, American Music Awards, RIAA Awards, People’s Choice Awards, and an honorary star on the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame. In 2002, Carter ventured into a solo career with his debut album, Now or Never, released under Jive Records. In 2004, Carter made his foray into the world of film and television, starring in the remake of the classic horror film “Sleepy Hollow” called “The Hollow.” Carter further showcased his acting skills through various film appearances on TV shows such as the CW Network’s revived series “90210.” In 2014, Carter and his now wife, Lauren Kitt, made their reality TV debut as a couple on the VH1 series “I Heart Nick Carter.” Furthermore, he participated in season four of Fox’s hit show, “The Masked Singer,” as well as the 21st season of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” making it to the finals on both series.
In 2023, Carter wrapped another massive tour with the Backstreet Boys, “The DNA World Tour”, before embarking on his first solo tour in seven years, the international “Who I Am” tour, which kicked off in the U.S. in October and followed the release of three new solo singles, “Superman,” “Made For Us,” and “Never Break My Heart (Not Again).” The “Who I Am” tour will continue through 2024, reaching territories in South America, Asia, Canada, and the United States. Over the past four decades, Rick Springfield has worn many hats as an entertainer and performer. Ventriloquist Jeff Dunham is a comedy superstar and one of the world’s most inventive entertainers. As founder of Creedence Clearwater Revival, Fogerty’s career spans 50 years and he is hailed as one of the most influential musicians in Rock history. As the writer, singer and producer of numerous classic hits including “Born on the Bayou”, “Green River”, “Proud Mary”, and “Bad Moon Rising”, Fogerty is a Grammy winner who has been honored as one of the 100 Greatest Guitarists, 100 Greatest Songwriters, and 100 Greatest Singers by Rolling Stone.
Earning induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Songwriters Hall of Fame, and Baseball Hall of Fame, he is also a New York Times best-selling author for his memoir, Fortunate Son: My Life, My Music. In January 2023, he regained control over his works, acquiring majority interest of his worldwide publishing rights from Concord. In December of 1973 at The University of Delaware’s Lane Hall, a guitarist, a drummer, and their rhythm guitarist set up on the small bandstand. UNCASVILLE, CT (March 6, 2024) –– Grammy-winning Rock band Greta Van Fleet announced today that they are coming to Mohegan Sun Arena with special guest The Beaches for a 7:30pm show on Friday, August 2nd.
Tickets go on sale Friday, March 8th at 10:00am via Ticketmaster.com. Subject to availability, Progressive Rock fans can purchase tickets at the Mohegan Sun Box Office starting on Saturday, March 9th.
The band is best known for their renowned live performances, selling over one million tickets worldwide. They sold out their entire 2022 arena tour, holding a special energy between them and their devoted fans.
Formed in Frankenmuth, Michigan in 2012, Greta Van Fleet consists of three brothers—vocalist Josh Kiszka, guitarist Jake Kiszka and bassist/keyboardist Sam Kiszka—as well as drummer Danny Wagner. Shane Gillis is a stand-up comic, actor, and writer from Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.
