Fall 2023 run of live shows stops at Mohegan Sun Arena December 8th
UNCASVILLE, CT (May 9, 2023) – RIAA-certified Gold A Cappella group Straight No Chaser today announced the “Sleighin’ It Tour,” their fall 2023 run of live shows. Ranked in the top 20 of Pollstar’s “Live 75” for tours at the end of 2022, Straight No Chaser’s annual fall tours have become part of family holiday traditions throughout the United States. Straight No Chaser stops at Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, December 8th at 8:00pm.

Festivities include a Summer Kick-Off party that unveils the Sun Patio Bar, and the return of popular outdoor summer concert series Party on the Sun Patio
UNCASVILLE, CT (May 4, 2023) – Summertime at Mohegan Sun is in full effect on the Sun Patio. The former Summer Entrance has been transformed into a 2,100 square-foot outdoor event space that is perfect for sunny days and warm summer nights. The star of the show is the elevated, 50 square-foot Sun Patio Bar, complete with six hi-definition screens (including two menu boards) and a full bar including six bartender stations. Regular hours for the Sun Patio Bar are Fridays from 5:00pm – 11:00pm, Saturdays from Noon – Midnight and Sundays from Noon – 9:00pm.
Those looking to be the first to party at the Sun Patio Bar can do so at the Summer Kick-Off on Saturday, May 27th. From 5:00pm – 8:00pm, delectable eats will be offered from Munchies, Bridge Market Pizza and Travelin’ Bones. Refreshing drink specials will also be available and electrifying live entertainment will be provided by local favorite band, Sugar. Complimentary fire pits are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The first 100 guests to attend also receive a free drink, courtesy of Red Bull! Mohegan Sun’s Summer Kick-Off has free admission, and all guests must be 21+ with valid ID.
The Sun Patio is also the home of Mohegan Sun’s popular summer concert series, Party on the Sun Patio. Starting June 30th, and every Friday night through September 1st, the Sun Patio transforms into a breezy outdoor area where guests can dance the night away to live entertainment provided by local tribute bands. UNCASVILLE, CT (April 25, 2023) – Integrated Entertainment Resort Mohegan Sun is excited to announce the appointment of David Fausel as Director of Advertising. Fausel brings over 20 years of advertising experience to Mohegan’s flagship property and is a familiar face to the Mohegan brand, spearheading a marketing modernization initiative that introduced an increase in digital, social and CRM efforts through ad agency Kirshenbaum Bond + Partners from 2004 – 2010. Fausel has since utilized his expertise to produce large-scale initiatives for notable brands like Cisco, Nike, American Express, Microsoft, Intel, T-Mobile and more.
“We’re excited to welcome Dave ‘back’ to Mohegan Sun, this time as the leader of our Advertising team and all that it strategically encompasses,” said George Galinsky, SVP of Marketing Communications at Mohegan. “Dave’s knowledge of industry trends and range of experiences using marketing innovation to create significant business impact make him an extremely valuable asset to our Marketing Communications department.”
In his role as Director of Advertising, Fausel will oversee strategy and execution of all brand and entertainment advertising for Mohegan Sun, as well as maintain collaborative relationships with ad agency partners TAXI, Mintz + Hoke and Media Storm. Fausel will also support the continued success of Mohegan Sun’s new ad campaign “All in for Mohegan”.

Highly Anticipated All New National Tour Stops at Mohegan Sun Arena Saturday, November 25th
UNCASVILLE, CT (April 25, 2023) – Following the sold-out successes Derek Live: The Tour, and of Move Live on Tour and Move – Beyond – Live on Tour, including multiple sellouts at prestigious venues such as Radio City Music Hall, Derek Hough returns with a monumental experience for 2023 – Derek Hough Symphony of Dance with special guest Hayley Erbert. ABOUT DEREK HOUGH
Emmy Award winning and New York Times best-selling author Derek Hough started dancing in his hometown of Salt Lake City, UT at age 11. As a three-time Emmy Award winner and twelve-time nominee, Hough is the most nominated male choreographer in Television Academy history. Hough has also appeared in film, television and stage projects as an actor. He made his feature film debut for director Duane Adler and producer Robert Cort in the feature film Make Your Move and had a recurring role on the ABC series Nashville. His stage performances include Radio City Music Hall’s Spring Spectacular co-starring alongside the Tony Award winning Laura Benanti and the critically acclaimed production of Footloose in which he starred as the male lead in London’s West End.
