UNCASVILLE, CT (June 26, 2019) – This Friday, June 28th, fans will have the chance to take photos with the 2018 World Series Championship trophy at Mohegan Sun. This #PTSDAwarenessMonth, Home Base, a Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital Program is teaming up with the Boston Red Sox to raise awareness of the invisible wounds of war affecting our Veterans, Service Members, and military-connected families; and the work being done at Home Base to provide care and support to our military community.
The trophy will be on display in The Shops at Mohegan Sun from 10:30am – 1:30pm.
Come out to meet the Home Base team, take photos with the World Series Trophy, and enter an exclusive raffle to celebrate baseball season:

These tickets will be available for pick up at the Home Base table in The Shops concourse course starting at 9:00am on Friday, June 28th on a first come, first served basis. HOT SUMMER FUN DAILY GIVEAWAYS
Momentum members won’t want to miss these daily giveaways! Prizes range from Free Slot Play to Momentum Dollars and up to $1,000,000 cash.
On More Money Mondays, Momentum members can enter to win their share of $10,000 cash by playing their favorite slots, table games or stadium games. Starting July 1st, four Momentum members are randomly selected between 10:00am – 7:00pm to win $2,500 – $1,000 on the spot and the remaining $1,500 the next day. The 4th Annual Barrett – Jackson Northeast Auction, the world’s greatest collector in car auctions, is back with hundreds of collector vehicles and over 145 pieces of authentic collector automobilia. From Wednesday, June 26th – Saturday, June 29th guests can enjoy a variety of fun across property. Car displays, sponsors, exhibitors, food and drink options and more take place in the Earth Expo & Convention Center. Thrill rides on a 110,000 square-foot track with a professional driver in the Winter Lot are sure to feed a need for speed. The main auction all goes down in Mohegan Sun Arena, where supreme cars like last production C7 Corvette are set to cross the auction block. UNCASVILLE, CT – (June 11, 2019) – Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment (MGE) announced today that the second season of its original digital TV series, “Back of House,” found online at backofhouse.tv, took home four awards at the 25th Annual Communicator Awards, the leading international awards program recognizing big ideas in marketing and communications. The popular digital series also won two Bronze Telly Awards for Branded Content in Entertainment and Branded Content in Sports. Since 1979, The Telly Awards have recognized some of the best work in TV and Video. Earlier this year Mohegan Sun was also notified that “Back of House” is being used by the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International Foundation (HSMAI) as part of a campaign to inspire future leaders into hotel, travel and hospitality careers.
Accolades from the 25th Annual Communicator Awards were revealed at the end of May. The episode called, “Preperation”, featuring Amber Cox, the WNBA Connecticut Sun’s VP of Sports Operations, was individually recognized with a Silver Distinction Award. Another Silver Distinction Award was received for the episode called, “Celebrity” featuring Mohegan Sun’s Celebrity Events Producer, Lindsay Cady. The most prestigious awards included a Gold Award of Excellence for Web Series Development and a Gold Award of Excellence for Tourism Branded Content. The show’s production company Primal NY, in partnership with Fact & Friction, were equally credited.

Collector Car Auctions, will kick off its 4th Annual Northeast Auction at Mohegan Sun on Wednesday, June 26th, with a special Shell Family Day powered by Pennzoil featuring free admission for high school students (with a valid school ID) and younger. Guests of this year’s Family Day will get an exclusive sneak peek of over 500 collector vehicles before they roll across the auction block, as well as access to the vast sponsor and exhibitor pavilion and the all-new TechForce STEM Center presented by Shell and powered by Pennzoil.
“Shell Family Day will set the perfect tone for our Northeast Auction,” said Craig Jackson, CEO and chairman of Barrett-Jackson. “In addition to the hundreds of collector cars and automobilia pieces on display, we’ll have many exciting activities planned for our guests. The TechForce STEM Center, which will be open throughout the entire Northeast Auction, from June 26th-29th, is a 2,000-square-foot exhibition featuring hands-on activities that allow students to better understand automotive technology through the applications of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). TechForce Foundation is a not-for-profit charity with the mission of championing students to and through their education and into careers as professional technicians.
