UNCASVILLE, CT (June 10, 2024) – On Sunday, June 9th, Mohegan Sun Arena celebrated another milestone. A sold-out show with legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Stevie Nicks marked 3,000 Arena events since opening the award-winning 10,000-seat venue in October 2001. As part of this celebration, Mohegan Sun selected two lucky concert goers for a special upgraded prize package!
“Every milestone for our venue is important because it shows the unity, reputation and hard work that our entire Entertainment team exemplifies,” said Tom Cantone, President of Sports and Entertainment at Mohegan. Mohegan Sun Arena is one of the busiest and most award-winning venues there is, and surpassing 3,000 total events is truly a testament to those who have helped put this great venue and Mohegan Sun on the world stage.”
Over its 23-year history, Mohegan Sun Arena has hosted entertainment powerhouses Bruce Springsteen, Matt Rife, Billy Joel, Bruno Mars, Beyoncé, Pink, Bon Jovi, Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift, Thomas Rhett, and many more. Top comedians including Chris Rock, Kevin Hart, Kevin James, and Sebastian Maniscalco have also graced the stage. The Arena will also present a three-night run beginning August 16th starring popular actor and comic Shane Gillis and continue to host the WNBA’s Connecticut Sun. The CT Sun made their debut at Mohegan Sun Arena in May 2003, and are currently the #1 team in the league with a 9-1 record. Mohegan Sun Arena has also had the honor of hosting WNBA events like the WNBA draft, All-Star games, and the WNBA Finals.
This year has been busy for Mohegan Sun Arena as the venue reached the 15 million total guests’ milestone in February. $500,000 cash is up for grabs along with weekly car giveaways, celebrity sightings, pool parties and the hottest tour stops
UNCASVILLE, CT – Bigger. Better. Hotter. Just some of the words people will be saying about Mohegan Sun’s new Hot Summer Fun lineup. Now entering its 16th year, Mohegan Sun decided it was time to spice things up a bit. As part of this year’s revamped Hot Summer Fun celebrations, which kicks off June 23rd and runs through September 1st, there will be bigger fireworks displays, better giveaways and hotter entertainment.
Fireworks Extravaganzas
Mohegan Sun is making a bang this summer, and a big one, as they host three large Hot Summer Fun parties on the rooftop of the Riverview Garage. Open to all ages, the fun kicks off at 5:00pm and includes games for kids of all ages, carnival food favorites and samples of summer treats from CT based Farmers Cow, as well as Mohegan Sun’s Tiki Bar for guests 21+. These special celebrations will be held on Sunday, June 23rd to kick off Hot Summer Fun, on Thursday, July 25th and on Sunday, September 1st to wrap up summer. NOTE: Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Mad-Dash Mondays
Over $500,000 cash is up for grabs this summer at Mohegan Sun with Mad-Dash Mondays. Starting June 24th, each Monday throughout the summer, 10 lucky Player’s Club members have the chance to walk away with their share of $50,000. Every half hour from Noon to 2:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm, one lucky Player’s Club member playing at their favorite slot machines will have a chance to enter the Cash Cube containing $5,000.
Take Two Tuesdays
Mohegan Sun will have you seeing double every Tuesday throughout the summer. Beginning Tuesday, June 25th, Player’s Club members playing their favorite slot machines will earn double points from 6:00am to Midnight. Not a gamer? Not a problem. Seasons Buffet will be having specials throughout the day. What’s better than a car giveaway? How about 10! Throughout Hot Summer Fun, Mohegan Sun is giving away a car each Thursday beginning June 27th. To qualify, Player’s Club members just need to be playing their favorite slot machine or table game between Noon and 8:00pm. Each week, one lucky guest will walk away with a car, but they aren’t the only winner. Guests playing around the winner could also receive a $50.00 gas credit good at Mohegan Sun Mobil Gas Station & Convenience Store.
On Thursday nights, things heat up with the return of GLO At The Pool, New England’s only night-time pool party. North American Tour Begins June 28th with an August 2nd show at Mohegan Sun Arena
UNCASVILLE, CT (February 4, 2013) – Parkwood Entertainment has just announced that The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour starring Beyoncé kicks off in Europe on April 15, 2013. With stops in twenty European cities, including Dublin, Ireland; Berlin, Germany; Paris, France and a four-night stint at The 02 in London, UK, this is Beyoncé’s first multi-city tour in over three years. Beyoncé will play Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, August 2nd for an 8:00pm show.

On June 28th, Beyoncé returns to Los Angeles, California as part of the BET Experience At L.A. Live at the Staples Center. She is set to headline the first of the three-night STAPLES Concert series. And continuing her successful run at international music festivals, following a headlining night at Glastonbury in 2011, she is confirmed to headline at the world’s largest music festival, Rock in Rio, on its first night, September 13 at the “City of Rock” in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Superstar Beyoncé is hitting the road this summer and is set to perform live at Mohegan Sun Arena on Thursday, July 23rd at 7:30pm.
Tickets are $145.75 and $95.75 and go on sale Saturday, April 25th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster.
