UNCASVILLE, CT (August 27, 2020) – Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE), a master developer of awe-inspiring integrated entertainment resorts (IER) worldwide, today appointed Kevin Lowry as Assistant General Manager of Mohegan Sun Connecticut. Within this new role, Kevin will be responsible for finance, gaming, cashiering, tenant and retail operations at Mohegan Sun.

As an integral part of the Mohegan Sun team since its establishment, Kevin has served as the former Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Mohegan Sun and Mohegan Sun Pocono. Within the finance department, Kevin has held the roles of Analyst, Senior Analyst, Budgets and Analysis Manager, Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, as well as Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis over the years. He will utilize his wide range of financial knowledge as Assistant General Manager and ensure optimal performance and fiscal growth for the property.

Kevin will work alongside Jeffrey Hamilton, President and General Manager of Mohegan Sun, and the leadership team on all major initiatives. Kevin graduated from Marietta College with a Bachelor’s in Business Management and currently resides in Pawcatuck, CT with his two sons Kyle and Luke.

Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE) Recruits Nick Gilham as Director of Social Media

Also promoted at MGE’s flagship integrated entertainment resort, Mohegan Sun, is Dana Lambersky to Director of Convention Services

UNCASVILLE, CT (January 30, 2020) – Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE) has named Nick Gilham Director of Social Media. He will oversee social strategy, marketing, content, monitoring and operations for all MGE properties. Dana Lambersky has been promoted to Director of Convention Services for Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut, where she will play a new and vital role in the planning and organization of the growing calendar of meetings, incentives, conference and exhibitions at Mohegan Sun.

“Nick Gilham comes to MGE with a wealth of knowledge and leadership skills in social media, brand strategy and communications,” said George Galinsky, SVP Marketing Communications at Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment. “Nick’s management experience with global brands such as LensCrafters, Purina and Stanley Black & Decker will give our guests the most welcoming, relevant and exciting social networks with which to engage.”

Gilham spent the first 10 years of his career working in information technology for companies such as AT&T. After receiving his MBA from Washington University in St. Louis, he shifted gears and followed his passion for digital marketing. By 2015, Gilham would be named Marketing Manager for LensCrafters Social Media division where he oversaw social strategy for platforms including, but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. Most recently, Gilham served as Sr. Social Media Strategist and Brand Strategist for Stanley Black & Decker.

In his new role as Social Media Director, Gilham will steer the Social Media operations for the expanding Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE) portfolio, which in addition to Mohegan Sun in Connecticut, operates integrated entertainment resorts and casino destinations in PA, WA, NJ, LA as well as Canada and in the near future, Las Vegas, NV and South Korea.

Lambersky began her career at Mohegan Sun in 2001 as Convention Services Manager, where she facilitated the key objectives of groups, including corporate, association, consumer shows, B2B trade shows, special events and fundraisers for large capacities in a variety of event spaces. Within her responsibilities was coordinating and organizing all group requirements, including but not limited to food and beverage, hotel accommodations, travel, audio/visual, banquet room sets, event diagrams, entertainment, IT, ticket sales, tenting, security, billing and recreation. This vast range of skills and experience led Lambersky to being named Director of Convention Services in late 2019, where her role is now elevated to oversee all functions of Mohegan Sun’s Convention Services department. Lambersky will also liaise for all major group and event operations with all departments to ensure clear, concise and timely communication and execution of all group needs and logistics.

Mohegan Sun Extends Partnership With Sardilli Produce & Dairy of Hartford, CT

Sardilli will Continue Its Produce Distribution for all Mohegan Sun Owned and Operated Restaurants Including Todd English’s Tuscany, Season’s Buffett and the all-new novelle

UNCASVILLE, CT – Mohegan Sun is excited to announce a recent multi-year produce contract being awarded to Sardilli Produce & Dairy. Mohegan Sun has worked with the longstanding Hartford, CT based company for the past eight years. In the past three years alone, have purchased more than 18,000 cases and more than 490,000 lbs. of produce from local farmers, and supporting Connecticut Agriculture – marks that will continue under the extended partnership.

“We certainly had interest in other big players for this contract but based on the well-established relationship, exceptional service and overall great product that Sardilli provides, the choice wasn’t very difficult in the end,” said Jeff Hamilton, President & GM of Mohegan Sun. “They’ll continue food distribution to more than ten restaurants here at Mohegan Sun, and that’s in addition to our back of house grill that we have for thousands of team members. They now operate as Sardilli Produce & Dairy out of a 30,000 square-foot facility on Locust Street in Hartford, CT. They look to move into a renovated 225,000 square-foot facility in Windsor, CT in 2020. The new state-of-the-art location will handle their needs for distribution, office space and value added produce manufacturing.

Mohegan Sun Names Two New Directors

20-year team member, Don Sikorski, was promoted to Director of Shops at Mohegan Sun and former Phoenix Suns Executive, Lynn Agnello, hired as Director of Sponsorships

UNCASVILLE, CT (April 5, 2017) – Mohegan Sun is pleased to announce the recent promotion of Don Sikorski and the hiring of Lynn Agnello. Both join the Director level at Mohegan Sun, Sikorski as Director of Shops at Mohegan Sun and Agnello as director of Sponsorships.

Joining Mohegan Sun in 1997, and prior to that, being a Senior Accountant for The Mohegan Tribe, Don Sikorski brings 20 years of valuable business, management and retail operations skills and experience to his newly promoted role in overseeing the 225,000 square-foot, Shops at Mohegan Sun. In addition to the many responsibilities that come along with such a vast, high revenue generating area, Sikorski will also be largely involved in the direction & strategic planning for all future retail and tenant opportunities at Mohegan Sun.
Sikorski is a Southern CT State University graduate and currently resides in Norwich with his wife and two sons, Kyle and Kevin.

Lynn Agnello joins the Mohegan Sun corporate team by way of Phoenix, Arizona, where she most recently represented radio sales across the NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL, as Network Audio Sales Manager for Skyview Networks. From 2001 – 2013, Agnello served initially as VP of Corporate Sales, then as Senior Vice President of Marketing Partnerships and later promoted to Executive Vice President of Partnership Development for the Phoenix Suns. Now as Director of Sponsorships, Agnello will lead a team focused on working with various partners to deliver unique and impactful activations for the countless special & signature events, concerts, Connecticut Sun and New England Black Wolves Lacrosse games at Mohegan Sun.
