Mix & Mingle: The Ultimate Big Little Holiday Party | On Friday, December 13th and Friday, December 20th beginning at 5:00pm, guests can sip on festive cocktails, enjoy a delicious holiday-themed dinner buffet, and take in live Jazz music at novelle. This year, Mohegan Sun is adding a twist – with a Casino 101 event known as Shuffle to Showdown. Second Annual Sun Patio Tree Lighting | Mohegan Sun’s Second Annual Sun Patio Tree Lighting on December 15th will have a very special guest, as legendary musician Andrea Bocelli, will help light up a Christmas Tree on the Sun Patio. Additionally, right before the tree lighting, Andrea Bocelli will officially be inducted into Mohegan Sun Arena’s Walk of Fame! This event takes place from 5:00pm – 7:00pm, and is fun for the whole family. Featured at this outdoor holiday gathering will be complimentary hot chocolate, coffee and sweet treats. The Sun Patio Bar will also serve flavorful specialty cocktails crafted by Mohegan Sun’s skilled bartenders. Bobby’s Burger Palace Drink of the Month is a special Dulce de Leche Milkshake for $8. Throughout December, The Crafty Stir Café will feature a Frosty Fusions drink of the week for $14; offerings include Pumpkin Cheesecake (December 1st – 7th), Peppermint Hot Chocolate (December 8th – 14th), Melted Snowman (December 15th – 21st), and Cousin Eddie’s Eggnog (December 22nd – 28th). On select days throughout the month, TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge will offer a Pu-Pu Plater for $30 which includes one piece of crispy tuna, satay bass, chicken satay, gyoza, and lollipop wing. UNCASVILLE, CT (October 10, 2024) – The Shed Restaurant, officially opened on Wednesday, October 9th in Mohegan Sun’s Casino of the Earth, across from Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana. This new offering is the brainchild of co-founders John Tunney & John Rieger from BALLO Italian Restaurant.
“Over the last few years, we’ve been working really hard to grow our non-gaming business throughout our property with new restaurants and creating immersive dining experiences,” said Jeff Hamilton, president and general manager of Mohegan Sun. “I believe when The Shed opens, people are going to want to come here to visit The Shed, not come to Mohegan Sun and eat there because they happen to be here. As we choose food & beverage operators and as we open new restaurants that is always our goal – to put a great restaurant inside of a great property.”
“We spent time in Long Island at the other Shed Restaurant locations and we got really excited about how they deliver food that is comfortable and casual, but they do it with the same quality we’ve all come to love from BALLO. When we think about great service and tenant operations, BALLO is always top of mind. They’ve really become a staple at Mohegan Sun, and we’re excited to watch The Shed do this as well.”

The Shed Restaurant has created more than 100 new jobs, including a culinary team led by Chef Roberto Baez. Chef Roberto’s menu offers a bright take on American comfort food and features a robust list of specialty brunch, lunch and dinner menu items — from the indulgent to the healthful – with the full menu available all day. Gluten-free and vegetarian options are available, and many menu items can be customized to be a vegan dish, making The Shed Restaurant the only restaurant at the property to offer vegan dining. The Shed’s enticing brunch, lunch & dinner menus are only made better by the ultra-friendly team and rustic beach-chic ambiance that incorporates warm textured woods, pops of color and intriguing works of art.
Local contractors involved in the project include electric work by Native Sons Ltd., based in Plainville, CT and interior design and architecture completed by id3a, based in Glastonbury, CT.
The Shed is an 8,785 square-foot space, complete with a 2,150 square-foot dining area, and a 3,150 square-foot scratch kitchen plus walk-in units. The space seats 205 guests, including 11 seats at a full bar. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis with the ability to join a text-based waitlist at the door.

Dining space offering pizza, salads, grinders, grab-and-go snacks and more is now open across from the Sun Patio in Casino of the Earth
Mohegan Sun is pleased to announce The Crafty Slice is officially open! The Crafty Slice offers freshly made pizza that is perfect for guests who are on the go and those who are looking for some late-night eats. The Crafty Slice is conveniently located at the Summer Entrance, right across from Mohegan Sun’s newly renovated outdoor entertainment venue, the Sun Patio.
“We wanted to open another quick bite option that is close to our two award-winning venues, Mohegan Sun Arena and the Wolf Den, and is also available for our late-night guests,” said Jeff Hamilton, president and general manager at Mohegan Sun. “We are thrilled that The Crafty Slice meets those goals, and it’s also convenient for guests enjoying more than 30 free shows at our new outdoor attraction, the Sun Patio!”
Pizza slices at The Crafty Slice are available starting at $5 each, and options range from vegetarian to pepperoni and a meat lover’s combo slice with pepperoni, sausage, chicken and meatballs. Guests can also snag grab-and-go options that include premade salads, grinders, snacks and the Walking Taco – a bag of Dorito or Frito chips topped with lettuce, tomato, housemade chili, queso, and sour cream. Those looking to fulfill a sweet tooth can try the specialty dessert style pizza or tasty churro bites served with a chocolate dipping sauce. Refreshing beverage options include beer, ready-to-drink cocktails, energy drinks and boozy slushies like the Casimigos Margarita. Signature, locally produced Mohegan-branded drinks, Jackpot Juice Hazy IPA, a collaboration with Two Roads Brewing Co. and All In Orange Whip, a collaboration with Waypoint Spirits, are also available.

Festivities include live entertainment throughout the day at The Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House
UNCASVILLE, CT (March 6, 2024) – Mohegan Sun is set to roll out the green carpet for St. Patrick’s Day on Sunday, March 17th and provide guests with can’t-miss food and drink specials at various restaurants throughout the property. Guests can also stop by The Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House to enjoy free, live entertainment by Danny Fleet and Run For Covers.
In addition to live entertainment by Danny Fleet at 1:00pm and Run For Covers at 4:00pm, The Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House is set to feature a special Corned Beef & Cabbage Spring Rolls appetizer for $17, which is made of corned beef, cabbage, carrots, Swiss cheese and served with Thousand Island dressing on the side. For an entrée, guests can enjoy the Irish Trio Dinner for $36 which consists of Shepherd’s pie, corned beef & cabbage, banger sausage and soda bread. The Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House reminds guests to wear their green!
Over at Todd English’s Tuscany, guests can savor Wagyu Corned Beef ($34) served with Guinness braised cabbage with bacon, honey glazed baby carrots and herb roasted new potatoes.
MJ23 Sports Bar & Grill is also set to get in on the St. Paddy’s Day action with a drink special and two featured dishes. Guests can sip on the Lucky Clover ($16) which is made of mint cream liqueur, chocolate vodka, vanilla vodka, crème de menthe and a coco-sugar rim. For an appetizer, guests can dive into Corned Beef Egg Rolls ($18) made with house-made corned beef, onions, peppers and served with beer cheese sauce on the side. The featured entrée will be Short Rib Shepherd’s Pie ($24) consisting of braised short rib, onions, peppers and Parmesan mashed potatoes.
Tom’s Watch Bar is set to have a selection of Irish-inspired drink specials including a pint of Guinness for $7, a pint of Green Beer (Coors Light or Bud Light) for $6, Jameson shots (1.25-oz pour) for $5 and various beer bucket specials.
At The Crafty Stir Café, guests can partake in a spiked Tippy Cow Irish Hot Chocolate or a spiked Tippy Cow Irish Mint Coffee for $12. To compliment the hot chocolate or coffee, guests can indulge in Irish-Inspired Donuts for $7 each or Donut Holes for $2 each.
