Sun BrewFest Weekend to kick off on Friday, October 20th
UNCASVILLE, CT (August 3, 2023) – Mohegan Sun’s 10th annual Sun BrewFest returns for a can’t-miss, two-day festival. The action gets started on Friday, October 20th with Mohegan Sun’s 2nd Annual Seltzer Social taking place on the revamped Sun Patio! Guests are advised to brace themselves for a bubble-filled event that will be sure to make their taste buds tingle! The Sun BrewFest main event kicks off in the afternoon on Saturday, October 21st at Mohegan Sun’s Earth Expo & Convention Center. Guests are invited to get ready to indulge their taste buds, explore a vast selection of unique brews and immerse themselves in a lively atmosphere!
Seltzer Social

Guests are invited to ditch the boring beverages because Mohegan Sun has assembled a lineup of the boldest, the bubbliest, and the most audaciously refreshing hard seltzer makers in town for the 2nd Annual Seltzer Social. From tangy to zesty, this event will feature drinks that will leave guests wanting more. Along with a wide-variety of fizzy finds, guests will also enjoy fall-inspired spirits, local bites and beats from DJ Jay R One. Beverage and bite tastings are all included in the ticket.

Mohegan Sun is bringing together the finest breweries from across the region and offering guests a chance to sample a top-notch variety of craft beers, from hoppy IPAs to rich stouts and everything in between at Mohegan Sun’s 10th Annual Sun BrewFest. The Earth Expo & Convention Center will be home to one of the largest and most exciting fall beer festivals in all of New England! Whether guests are seasoned beer enthusiasts or just starting their journey into the world of craft beer, this festival is the perfect place to discover new favorites and expand palates. Cornhole Tournament
Guests are invited to bring their best competition and toss some bags at the Sun BrewFest Cornhole Tournament hosted by Wicked Cornhole. Guests that register for the tournament will have access to the VIP hour (2:00pm – 3:00pm) of Sun BrewFest! The winning team will receive a $500 cash prize, a free hotel stay for future use and two tickets to a show at Mohegan Sun Arena (subject to availability)! Second place will receive a $300 cash prize and third place will receive a $200 cash prize.

Culinary positions offer a $2,000 sign-on bonus, housekeeping positions offer a $500 sign-on bonus
UNCASVILLE, CT (May 25, 2021) – Mohegan Sun is set to host three summer hiring events on Wednesday, May 26th, Thursday, June 10th and Thursday, June 24th. Employment opportunities are open in Food & Beverage, Event Support, Security, Marketing, VIP, Accounting, Hotel, Retail and more. Culinary positions offer a $2,000 sign-on bonus and housekeeping positions offer a $500 sign-on bonus. Bonuses will be paid out in increments.
The hiring events on Wednesday, May 26th and Thursday, June 10th will take place from 10:00am – 7:00pm in the Earth Ballroom, located in the Earth Expo & Convention Center. A third hiring event will take place from 10:00am – 7:00pm on Thursday, June 24th in The Cabaret Theatre, located in Casino of the Sky.

Connecticut’s Leading Integrated Entertainment Resort to Host Milestone Miss America 2021 Competition and Other Exciting Events
UNCASVILLE, CT (April 9, 2021) – The stage is set for an unforgettable 2021 at Mohegan Sun! Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment’s (MGE) flagship property today announced an exciting evolution of its partnership with the Miss America Organization (MAO) to continue hosting one of the nation’s most anticipated competitions. For the next three years, Miss America events and finals will take place at the award-winning Mohegan Sun Arena. This historic relationship is a testament to Mohegan Sun’s consistent innovation and industry-leading health and safety practices that have inspired confidence among its distinguished partners and the public. The 100th anniversary Miss America competition will be broadcast live in December 2021.
