Marking their first U.S. tour of the year, the run will kick off on February 24th at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT and culminate with the band’s annual hometown run of Boston shows St. Patrick’s Day Week (March 15th – 18th). The band will perform live in the Arena at 7:30pm.

Tickets are $35.00 and go on sale Friday, December 8th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster customers may log on to Ticketmaster.com or call Ticketmaster’s national toll free Charge By Phone number 1.800.745.3000. Tickets will also be available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office beginning on Saturday, December 9th, subject to availability.

Tour openers include New York Hardcore icons Agnostic Front and Boston Ska pioneers Bim Skala Bim, who both have a long history with Dropkick Murphys and have shared bills with the band since the early days of DKM. Bim Skala Bim was a co-opener for The Mighty Mighty Bosstones’ “Boston On The Road” tour in 1997, which introduced Dropkick Murphys to a national audience. Dropkick Murphys and Agnostic Front last toured the U.S. together in 1998, which was followed by the DKM/AF 7” split Unity in 1999.

Prior to the St. Patrick’s Day Tour, fans are also invited to enjoy a rare opportunity to see Dropkick Murphys and professional boxing in a small intimate setting at the Dropkick Murphys & Murphys Boxing Christmas Celebration on Saturday, December 16th at 6:00pm at Plainridge Park Casino in Plainville, MA. Proceeds from the event benefit the band’s charitable foundation the Claddagh Fund, as well as Ernie Boch’s Music Drives Us Foundation.
For more details and to purchase tickets, visit DropkickMurphys.com and CladdaghFund.org.

Dropkick Murphys—Al Barr (lead vocals), Tim Brennan (guitars, accordion, mellotron, whistles, vocals), Ken Casey (lead vocals, bass guitar), Jeff DaRosa (banjo, bouzouki, mandolin, harmonica, acoustic guitars, vocals), Matt Kelly (drums, percussion, vocals), James Lynch (guitar, vocals) — are touring in support of their 11 Short Stories Of Pain & Glory album, released through the band’s own Born & Bred Records earlier this year. The album debuted at #8 on the Billboard Top 200 and was the #1 independently released album. There’s a feeling of purpose throughout the album, influenced by the band’s work with The Claddagh Fund, a charity the band established in 2009 to help support addiction recovery as well as children’s and veterans’ organizations. Dropkick Murphys are hands-on in raising funds, mentoring, and lending a helping hand with veterans, youth sports, and drug and alcohol rehabilitation. Many of the songs reflect these experiences, and the band’s sadness, anger and dismay at the opiate epidemic ravaging the country — in particular, Boston and New England — and also their feeling of pride and optimism at the sight of those who have turned their lives around. Dropkick Murphys have become ambassadors for their city. In Boston, it seems like everybody knows someone connected to the band whether by blood, friendship, or the time they shared a brew at a Bruins game. They’ve built a legacy that does Beantown proud.

Mohegan Sun Welcomes Back Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons

Concert slated for April 14th; Tickets go on sale November 17th

UNCASVILLE, CT (November 13, 2017) – American Pop icon and one of the top-selling bands in music history, Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons bring their hits back to Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, April 14th at 8:00pm.

Tickets are $35.00 and go on sale Friday, November 17th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster customers may log on to Ticketmaster.com or call Ticketmaster’s national toll free Charge By Phone number 1.800.745.3000.  Tickets will also be available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office beginning on Saturday, November 18th, subject to availability.

There’s something about Frankie Valli’s music that makes young people of every generation want to get up and dance. Amid the Disco era, the Seasons hit it big with “Who Loves You,” which reached #3 in 1975 and “December 1963 (Oh, What a Night),” a #1 record in 1976. On the other side of the Atlantic, “You’re Ready Now” and “The Night,” which didn’t do anything in the U.S., emerged from dance clubs in the north of England to become huge hits in Europe. Two decades later, in 1994, a dance club remix of “December 1963” climbed to #14 in the U.S. on Billboard Hot 100. In 2000, a French-language Rap version of “December 1963” went to #1 in Paris. And a few years ago—a remix of the Four Seasons’ 1967 hit “Beggin’” became the #1 Dance record in Britain.

Valli and the Four Seasons have influenced many other great recording artists. For example, from Barry Gibb: “Frankie Valli to me has become one of the hallmark voices of our generation. From the deepest emotions of his real voice to the power of his falsetto, he created a style that we all still strive to emulate.” From Billy Joel: “I wrote ‘Uptown Girl’ as the flip side to the story of ‘Rag Doll.’ I always loved that record.” And from Brian Wilson: “In the early 60s the Four Seasons were my favorite group. I thought they were fantastic. The voice blend was fantastic. The competition helped me to get cracking. It inspired me, because they made good music. I went to the piano thinking I could top their music.”

Mohegan Sun Arena is now ranked consistently among the top venues in the world according to Billboard Magazine, Pollstar and Venues Today. It has won “Casino of The Year” at the Country Music Awards in 2008 & 2010 and in 2013, was voted “Arena Of The Year” at the G2E Global Gaming Conference in Las Vegas.  Mohegan Sun Arena was also ranked among the top 10 arena venues in the nation for 2014, regardless of size.
