Superstar siblings to tour North America in their own all-new dance production, including stop at Mohegan Sun Arena on June 22nd
Superstar siblings Julianne and Derek Hough will star in their own all-new dance production, Move Live On Tour, onstage across North America beginning May 28 through July, 2014. Move Live On Tour will be a complete stage production, with sets, costumes and a cast of talented dancers, with the Hough’s headlining in solo, duet and group performances in styles ranging from ballroom and tap to Salsa and Hip-Hop and everything in-between. The performance heads to Mohegan Sun for a Sunday, June 22nd show beginning at 7:30pm.

According to Derek and Julianne, “No matter where we go in the world, the question we hear most from people is ‘when are you going to do something together?’ We feel that everything we’ve done up to this point has led us to creating this show and we can’t wait to share it with our fans.” The Dancing With the Stars champions conceived the show, which they are staging with Tabitha and Napoleon D’umo (Nappytabs), best known for their Emmy Award-winning choreography on So You Think You Can Dance. “We’re so thrilled to be working with Nappytabs – their creative energy is perfectly aligned with ours and we couldn’t dream of better partners to bring Move Live On Tour to life.”
The pair, both of whom are also accomplished singers and musicians, promise musical surprises and special guest appearances in a show they describe as “a cross between a Broadway spectacular and the hippest, coolest dance party you’ve ever been to.” The Houghs and their Move Live On Tour troupe will also be going into local communities on the tour to engage local dance groups and non-profit organizations to include them in the whole “MOVE” experience in fun and unique ways, in order to encourage and celebrate dance.

New album Shine On to be released May 6th on Verve Records
UNCASVILLE, CT (March 3, 2014) – Multi-platinum and Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter Sarah McLachlan today announced concert dates for the Sarah McLachlan Shine On Tour 2014. The national tour will kick off on June 20th in Seattle, WA and will visit major amphitheaters and venues across the country, including Mohegan Sun Arena on Sunday, July 20th for a 8:00pm show. The tour coincides with McLachlan’s forthcoming new album Shine On out May 6th on Verve Records.

McLachlan has also revealed album artwork for Shine On, her first full-length recording of new material in four years. The new album was recorded in Montreal and Vancouver with Sarah’s longtime collaborator/producer Pierre Marchand as well as Bob Rock and Vincent Jones.
Sarah McLachlan is one of the most celebrated singer songwriters in entertainment with over 40 million albums sold worldwide. She is an eight-time Juno Award winner (Canada) and a three-time Grammy Award winner. McLachlan’s landmark fifth album, the 10x-platinum Surfacing, contained two Grammy Award-winning tracks: “Building a Mystery” and “Last Dance.” In addition to her personal artistic efforts, she founded the Lilith Fair tour showcasing female musicians which raised over $7 million for local and national charities over its 3 years and in 2002 founded her non-profit organization the Sarah McLachlan School of Music. Country star brings his “Let It Ride Tour” to Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, May 30th with special guest Jack Ingram
Brantley Gilbert is kicking off 2014 in high gear with new music and a headline tour, which heads to Uncasville, CT for a 7:30pm show on Friday, May 30th. Impacting Country radio since its release, “Bottoms Up” is the most recent music the Georgia native has produced for his loyal BG Nation fans in over four years. The lead single from Brantley’s forthcoming album on The Valory Music Co. was made available in late December and quickly shot up the iTunes charts peaking at #1 on the Country Singles Chart and #8 All Genres. Coinciding with the single release, fans were also able to purchase the accompanying video, which was shot in Nashville and flashes from 1930’s vintage to modern day party scenes. The weigh-in and pre-fight press conference for Bellator MMA will take place Thursday at 5:00pm EST in front of the box office at Mohegan Sun Arena. Bellator MMA will take place at Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, February 28th with the first fight taking place at 6:30pm and streaming LIVE on Spike.com. The televised portion of the night will begin at 9:00pm and will air LIVE on Spike TV.
All participants from Friday night’s event will be on hand, as well as Bellator CEO & Chairman Bjorn Rebney.
