Guests unable to make it to Mohegan Sun on Saturday due to inclement weather are welcomed to either use their ticket for Friday evening’s Grand Tasting Preview or receive a refund at point of purchase
UNCASVILLE, CT (January 27th, 2022) – The 18th Annual Sun Wine & Food
Fest (SWFF) at Mohegan Sun kicks off this evening and runs through Sunday, January 30th. The Grand Tasting, from 1:00pm – 5:00pm on Saturday, January 29th, will take place as planned and tickets are still available HERE. Should current ticket holders be unable to attend the Grand Tasting or any other Saturday SWFF event due to the impending weather, Mohegan Sun will offer refunds at point of purchase. Additionally, any guests who have Saturday Grand Tasting tickets that would like to attend the Grand Tasting Preview event inside Earth Expo Center from 8:00pm – 10:00pm on Friday, January 28th, are welcomed to do so.
“We understand that parts of our region will be impacted by the impending weather, so we wanted to make sure to provide the opportunity for our Sun Wine & Food Fest guests to plan accordingly for our major event this Saturday,” –said Jeff Hamilton, President & General Manager of Mohegan Sun. “Whether it’s utilizing your Saturday tickets for Friday evening, or inquiring about a refund, we’re happy to assist.”
*Guests who utilize their Saturday Grand Tasting tickets to enjoy Friday evening’s Grand Tasting Preview are still welcomed to use the same ticket for the Grand Tasting.

UNCASVILLE, CT (January 28, 2021) – Mohegan Sun regretfully announces the postponement of the 5th Annual Sun Whiskey Union. This difficult decision was made in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, as keeping the community safe takes precedence.
Every year, guests gather at the Sun Whiskey Union to enjoy live music and delicious fare, all while sampling an impressive selection of whiskey, scotch, bourbon, rye and craft cocktails. Representatives from popular distilleries and experts are also on hand to chat about their style of whiskeys and other libations.

Sun Wine & Food Fest, one of Mohegan Sun’s largest property-wide events, has been
officially postponed for 2021. This difficult decision was made in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, as keeping the community safe takes precedence.
Over the past 17 years, Sun Wine & Food Fest has developed into a four-day, multi-event festival. The event welcomes thousands of guests over the course of the weekend and features 30 local and nationally acclaimed chefs. Hundreds of vendors are also showcased to offer the greatest assortment of experiences for guests. Sun Wine & Food Fest brings people from all over for the same reason – to celebrate and experience the incredible art and joy of the culinary world.
Despite the cancellation of this year’s event, Mohegan Sun is still looking to support partners and the culinary community. The 18th Annual Sun Wine & Food Fest will occur in 2022. The event will feature some of Boston’s greatest athletes as Pedro Martinez, Paul Pierce, Ray Bourque & Willie McGinest will interact with fans and team up with some of Boston’s best Chef’s, which will include Nick Calias, Chris Coombs, Jason Santos, Will Gilson, Robert Sisca & Mike Fucci, to prepare their favorite twist on tailgating foods!

festival with 40 of New England’s premier food trucks will be taking place at the Mohegan Sun Winter Parking Lot in September!
When: September 3rd and 4th, 2016 (rain or shine)
Where: Mohegan Sun Winter Parking Lot
Gate Hours: Saturday: 12:00pm– 10:00pm
Sunday: 12:00pm – 6:00pm
Early Access: Will be available on Saturday from 11:00am – 12:00pm only (limited amount of passes will be available. Will include a NoRA cupcake and a non-alcoholic beverage)
Admission (6 and older): $5.00 at the gate for single admission and $8.00 for 2-day admission.
Youth Admission (Under 6): Free
Other than hosting 40 of New England’s premier food trucks, this festival will also feature live music, face painting for children, a fireworks show on Saturday starting at 9:30pm, field games and more!
