After debuting on May 31st, Mohegan Sun is excited to add more dates to Shuffle to Showdown: Casino 101. These events, which take place inside Mohegan Sun’s upscale restaurant, bar and lounge, novelle, will return on Friday, June 21st, Friday July 26th, and Friday, August 23rd. Featured at these events are experts from Mohegan Sun’s gaming division who help guests learn the ropes of one of the most thrilling card games on the casino floor: Blackjack. The $20,000 Hot Shot Slot Tournament takes place in Casino of the Earth awarding top finishers Cash Prizes and Free Slot Play
Mohegan Sun is inviting its Momentum members to two days of slot tournament
action beginning Sunday, February 19th, that will award a top prize of $5,000 in cash each day. Momentum is Mohegan Sun’s 21+ award-winning rewards loyalty program, that is free to sign-up at any Player’s Club booth at Mohegan Sun. This tournament will also award cash prizes to the runner up, and 2nd and 3rd place finishers. Additionally, the top two scorers during each session will receive $100 in Free Slot Play. Registration will take place each day from 1:00pm – 5:00pm at the Play Event Center, located in Casino of the Earth.
The $20,000 Hot Shot Slot Tournament will allow participants to play in a (1) 5-minute session in both tournament days. The tournaments will be played in the Bravo Slot Zone in Casino of the Earth, where guests will be trying to achieve the highest score possible. The tournaments will run in 15-minute intervals starting at 1:30pm on February 19th & 20th. When the tournament finishes each day, the highest scoring Momentum member will take home the grand prize of $5,000 in cash! In order to qualify, Momentum members will have to earn at least 20 Status Points between 6:00am -4:00pm on the day of the tournament. Mohegan Sun will be awarding $20,000 in total across the two tournaments.
