Nightlife costume parties, live entertainment, The Rocky Horror Picture Show and more start Friday, October 25th
UNCASVILLE, CT (October 3, 2019) – Halloweekend gets an early start this year at Mohegan Sun with tricks and treats across property, including costume contests with over $8,000 in prizes, live entertainment, nightlife specials and a special screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Celebrations start Friday, October 25th. All costumes must allow for positive I.D.
novelle steps into the Halloween scene with a three-night extravaganza. The Halloween edition of Famous Fridays at Mohegan Sun’s newest ultra-lounge goes down Friday, October 25th and includes an open costume contest with over $1000 in prizes ready to be dished out. Popular DJ Vito G. will also be in the building to help get the party started. The Story Saturdays open costume contest on October 26th offers $2,500 in prizes with music by DJ Mark Anthony. And finally, Industry Thursdays takes over Halloween night, with $5,000 in prizes given out to the winners of the open costume contest and music by Chase B.

Avalon Nightclub is hosting a Halloween bash to remember on Saturday, October 26th. Doors open at 9:00pm with music by Joe Maz. Prizes will be given for “Best Overall Costume”, “Most Original Costume” and “Best Group Costume”. Anyone who arrives in costume receives free admission. Otherwise, admission is $20.00 for men, $10.00 for ladies who arrive after 10:00pm.
VISTA Lounge at Wombi Rock’s spooky Halloween open costume party on Saturday, October 26th starts at 9:00pm with music by Alex Walker. There is no cover, and guests must be 21 to enter.
Mohegan Sun’s newest interactive restaurant, GAME ON, is hosting a Bowl-O-Ween party on Saturday, October 26th. In addition to an eight-lane bowling alley, guests can enjoy a 65-foot bar with craft beer on tap, 15 hi-definition viewing screens, karaoke, arcade games, and more. GAME ON is offering food and drink specials, and themed drinks all night. This venue is open to all ages until 10:00pm.
The Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House presents the 7 Day Weekend Halloween Party on Saturday, October 26th starting at 10:00pm. Guests can enjoy live music by 7 Day Weekend and prizes, along with food and drink specials all night long.
The Cabaret Theatre celebrates Halloween night with a viewing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show on Thursday, October 31st at 8:00pm. Guests can enjoy the Halloween classic with a shadow cast of the film by the Teseracte Players of Boston. Admission is free and participation is on a first-come, first-served basis. The event is 18+ unless accompanied by an adult. A cash bar is available inside The Cabaret Theatre from 7:30pm – 10:00pm.
Connecticut native Tim Cote is set to bring Country charm to the Wolf Den with a free show on Thursday, October 31st at 8:00pm. Guests are encouraged to come early, as seating is limited. All guests must be 21 or older to enter the Wolf Den.
Comix Roadhouse keeps the laughs coming with a special Halloween edition of PAT OATES’ HAND PICKED POTATOES on Thursday, October 31st at 10:00pm. Pat was the winner of Comix Roadhouse’s 2015 Last Comix Standing contest, is a writer for Laugh Staff and hosts the Pat Oats is Sad podcast. Tickets are $10.00, $15.00, and $20.00 and available for purchase at Comix Roadhouse or on their website. Doors open at 9:45pm and guests must be 21+ to attend.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show
On Saturday, October 31st, the Teseracte Players return to Mohegan Sun for a spooktacular screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Watch the characters come to life inside The Cabaret Theatre at 11:30pm. Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis. Admission is free; all guests attending must be 21 years or older.
AVALON Saints & Sinners Party
It’s good versus evil at AVALON during the Saints & Sinners Party on Halloween night. Find you inner angel or don those devil horns; best dressed Sinner and best dressed Saint each take home a ghoulish grand prize. DJ St. Clair drops the hottest Halloween beats for what is sure to be the Halloween party you won’t want to miss.
Doors open at 9:00pm. Ladies free until 10:00pm. Free cover for those costumed in the Saints & Sinners theme. Men not costumed to the theme pay $20.00, ladies not costumed to the theme pay $10.00.
Orange Party at VISTA
It’s a penitentiary party at VISTA on Halloween featuring a DJ set by Taryn Manning, the notorious inmate ”Pennsatucky” on the Emmy nominated Netflix series Orange Is The New Black. The ‘behind the bars’ bash begins at 9:00pm with no cover all night long.

Halloween 2015 at MIST
It’s a battle for best costume on Halloween night at MIST featuring music by Jay Dabhi. Hollywood glam is the name of the game at Avalon nightclub’s Hollywood Halloween Party on Friday, October 31st. Doors open at 9:00pm and DJ 1MOR will be spinning the beats for the sexiest Halloween party around. UNCASVILLE, CT — Have a frighteningly good time this Halloween 
at Mohegan Sun with costume parties, signature drinks and a special screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show featuring the Teseracte Players.
Kick off the spooktacular fun with a special screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show featuring the Teseracte Players in The Cabaret Theatre at 11:45pm on Friday, October 25th. Be there as the screening of the film comes to life with character impersonations from the Teseracte Players. Admission is free and for guests 21 years of age or older.
Then, on Saturday, October 26th, see former Wonder Woman herself, Lynda Carter, as she performs a free concert in the 350-seat Wolf Den beginning at 8:00pm. Afterwards, take part in the epic battle of good versus evil with a Heroes and Villains themed party at VISTA Lounge. Doors open at 10:00pm. There is no cover, but space will be limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Actress who plays Tara Thornton on the hit HBO series will be on hand meeting fans and signing autographs
WHAT: Fans of HBO’s hit series True Blood are in for a treat when Rutina Wesley takes part in a Signings & Sightings on Saturday, October 27th. The event starts at 9:00pm in The Shops at Mohegan Sun where fans can get free autographs and greet the star actress. Wesley will also be stopping by the Halloween Costume Party taking place on the patio of Todd English’s Tuscany later that night.
Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the popularity of this event, the signing will be bracelet-only. Bracelets will be distributed starting at 8:00pm on Saturday, October 27th on a first-come, first-served basis at the signing stage in The Shops concourse and must be worn in order to gain entrance into this event.
