Restaurant Week Returns To Mohegan Sun January 20th – 24th

UNCASVILLE, CT (December 17, 2018) – Treat yourself to a delicious meal when Restaurant Week returns from January 20th – January 24th. Dining specials & discounts will be offered at many of the top restaurants across Mohegan Sun, and along with that, diners will be able to learn tips and tricks from culinary masters during live cooking demonstrations in The Shops at Mohegan Sun by Sun Wine & Food Fest chefs Jason Santos and Michele Ragussis!

Chef Demos

Jason Santos, celebrity chef, owner, and Executive Chef at Boston’s Abby Lane, Citrus & Salt, and Buttermilk & Bourbon restaurants, will help kick off Restaurant Week by taking over The Shops at Mohegan Sun on Sunday, January 20th at Noon.

Michele Ragussis, a seasoned New England chef who has been featured on shows like Chopped, Food Network Star, Beat Bobby Flay and more, will wrap up Restaurant Week when she takes over The Shops at Mohegan Sun on Thursday, January 24th at 6:00pm.

SolToro is offering a variety of selections for an appetizer and entrée taco platters for $22.00 per person. For an appetizer, choose between Mexican Wontons filled with chorizo, chipotle and avocado cream or SolToro Nachos, topped with Chihuahua cheese, beans, jalapeños, guacamole, and sour cream. Street taco entrée options include Adobo pork, roasted duck, chicken, Baja fish, grilled shrimp, or barbacoa beef. All street taco entrées are served with rice and beans.

At BALLO Italian Restaurant, enjoy a three-course dinner for $32.00. First course is a choice of either classic Caesar salad, Arugula salad, or meatballs pomodoro. Arooga’s Grille House & Sports Bar, located on property near the Trading Cove lot, is offering lunch and dinner specials during Restaurant Week. For $16.95, enjoy a lunch for two special: house side salad, a choice of a BBQ pulled pork sandwich or a flatbread of your choice, and funnel cake fries for dessert. The dinner special for two is $29.95 and includes one buffalo pretzel to share, the choice of chicken fajitas or BBQ pulled pork bacon mac & cheese, and a cookie pizza for dessert.

Come to Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House for delicious, slow roasted 12 oz. prime rib au jus, served with mashed potatoes, daily vegetables and for $20.00. Make sure to get there early for one of the most popular items while supplies last!

Visit Michael Jordan’s Steak House for a delicious meal for $49.00. The first course is a choice of a classic Caesar with shaved parmesan and garlic croutons, or king crab and lobster bisque with micro celery. The main course is the choice of organic black pearl salmon in a peperonata broth (no clams), or basil brined chicken with smoked fingerling hash and parmesan velouté.

Michael Jordan’s 23.sportcafe is serving honey chipotle fried chicken, mac & cheese, BBQ rubbed jojo’s, and coleslaw, with a buttermilk biscuit and house-made gravy for $23.00.

A three-course meal at Jasper White’s Summer Shack features a mixed greens salad, lobster scampi, and a chocolate peanut butter torte for $40.

Mohegan Sun Brings Back Restaurant Week

Dining deals throughout property January 8 – 13, 2012
Mohegan Sun introduced its first ever Restaurant Week this past summer; coming this January, the deals are back!  From January 8th through the 13th, several restaurants at Mohegan Sun will be offering a 20% discount including: Seasons Buffet, Birches Bar & Grill, Todd English’s Tuscany, Bobby Flay’s Bar Americain and Bobby’s Burger Palace. (Discount is applied to food purchase only.)
In addition, several other restaurants at Mohegan Sun will be offering select specials including:
Big Bubba’s BBQ is set to offer an all-you-can eat special for $25.00 Monday through Friday (January 9th – 13th).  This includes a House Salad, Chicken & Ribs with Cornbread and a choice of two sides.  Big Bubba’s BBQ is open from 11:30am – 10:00pm on Sunday through Thursday.  Friday and Saturday hours are from 11:30am – Midnight.
At Lucky’s Lounge and The Dubliner, three course lunch specials will be offered from a separate menu that will also include a choice of soda, coffee or tea.  This lunch special is priced at $15.00 and cannot be combined with any other offers.  Guests can take advantage of this offer from 11:30am to 4:00pm during Restaurant Week.  In addition to the above, both Lucky’s and The Dubliner will also be offering a “Fixed Friday” special where couples or friends can get one appetizer, two entrées and one dessert to share all for $40.00 on
Friday, January 13th. Regular hours for both Lucky’s Lounge and The Dubliner are  11:30am through 1:00am on Sunday through Thursday.  Friday and Saturday hours are 11:30am through 2:00am.
Over at Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana get two fountain sodas, two salads and one 16” medium pizza with one topping all for $25.00, tax included. This special is good for all toppings excluding chicken or seafood and additional toppings are available for additional cost. Pepe’s Pizza is open from 11:00am through Midnight, Sunday through Thursday.  Friday and Saturday hours are 11:00am through 2:00am.
At Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, guests can get a double dozen doughnuts and two small Signature House Blend coffees for $14.99. Krispy Kreme Doughnuts is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
And finally, Jasper White’s Summer Shack will be offering a Restaurant Week tasting menu all for $25.00.  It will include Cherrystone Ceviche (two shells, crushed ice, lemon and lime zest). Julianne Salad with Pears and three Fritters consisting of Endive, Romaine lettuce, Purple Cabbage, Lemony Vinaigrette dressing, Corn Fritter, ½ Crab Cake rolled into a cylinder and one top Lobster Fritter.  A delicious Butter Poached Lobster with Mussels and Calamari are also a part of this tasting menu.  The dessert will be Apple Raisin Strudel with Vanilla Ice Cream. Jasper White’s Summer Shack is open from 11:30am through 11:00pm on Sunday through Thursday.  Friday and Saturday hours are 11:30am to 1:00am.
