Brown’s best year came in 2001 where he and Tom Brady connected for 101 receptions rendering Brown 1,199 yards and 5 touchdowns as well as his first trip to the Pro Bowl.  That same year, Brown returned a punt for a touchdown against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC Championship Game that proved to be the game’s winning score.  It was big moments like these that made Brown a legend throughout New England.
