Party on the Sun Patio returns for 14-week concert series, plus the Sun Patio Concert Series offers legendary entertainment for all ages
UNCASVILLE, CT (March 25, 2025) – The Sun Patio at Mohegan Sun is the hot spot for outdoor entertainment, with the return of Party on the Sun Patio and the Sun Patio Concert Series. With favorite tribute bands like The Journey Tribute Show and Zac N’ Fried, plus electrifying acts like Buckcherry, Lupe Fiasco and The Roots, guests are invited to enjoy their summer soundtrack – played live, under the stars.
At the ever-popular Party on the Sun Patio, guests can dance into the summer nights to top local tribute bands while sipping on refreshing drink specials and exploring the bold flavors of a rotating food truck lineup. Those looking for the best seat in the house can reserve a fire pit, complete with a complimentary bucket of beer and cocktail service for up to eight guests. VIP fire pits will offer a prime view of the stage. Reservations for fire pits open Tuesday, April 1st at mohegansun.com/sunpatio. Party on the Sun Patio is free to attend and available to guests ages 21+ (valid ID required). Doors open at 6:30pm and the bands light up the stage at 8:00pm. IN DETAIL: Summer is on the horizon, and Mohegan Sun is celebrating with the 3rd Annual Summer Kick-Off on Saturday, May 24th. This all-ages event is free to attend and offers something for everyone, from flavorful bites by local food trucks like Whey Station, Rubino’s Full Scoop, Chompers and Hungry Lion, to activities like yard games and more. Guests can also get their faces painted, and spin Cyber Quest’s prize wheel for a chance to win. Southeastern CT’s own Wild Nights is ready to keep the crowd dancing into the night with the best Dance, Party, and Rock hits around. Seating by the fire pits will be available on a first-come, first served basis.
The first 50 guests to arrive at the Summer Kick-Off will receive a complimentary ticket to Six Flags (redeemable at any location), courtesy of Coca-Cola, and the first 100 guests (age 21+) to visit the Sun Patio Bar will get one complimentary Tropical Red Bull Margarita, courtesy of Red Bull. IN DETAIL: The Sun Tequila Tasting is back at Mohegan Sun, and this event is home base for the ultimate Cinco de Mayo experience! Fiesta del Norte is setting the tone with traditional Mariachi music and DJ D-Ave will keep the party going all night long. Plus, Niantic’s own La Mesa is serving up delicious bites.

UNCASVILLE, CT (September 9, 2024) – Music icon Billy Joel is set to return to Mohegan Sun Arena for the first time since his record-breaking, sold-out, 10-show residency where he performed for 100,000 guests in 2008. Guests can check out the “Piano Man” on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 8:00pm.
Tickets to see Billy Joel go on sale Friday, September 13th at 10:00am via Ticketmaster.com. Billy Joel ranks as one of the most popular recording artists and respected entertainers in history.
