IN DETAIL: Summer is on the horizon, and Mohegan Sun is celebrating with the 3rd Annual Summer Kick-Off on Saturday, May 24th. This all-ages event is free to attend and offers something for everyone, from flavorful bites by local food trucks like Whey Station, Rubino’s Full Scoop, Chompers and Hungry Lion, to activities like yard games and more. Guests can also get their faces painted, and spin Cyber Quest’s prize wheel for a chance to win. Southeastern CT’s own Wild Nights is ready to keep the crowd dancing into the night with the best Dance, Party, and Rock hits around. Seating by the fire pits will be available on a first-come, first served basis.
The first 50 guests to arrive at the Summer Kick-Off will receive a complimentary ticket to Six Flags (redeemable at any location), courtesy of Coca-Cola, and the first 100 guests (age 21+) to visit the Sun Patio Bar will get one complimentary Tropical Red Bull Margarita, courtesy of Red Bull. Refreshing summertime mocktails will also be available for purchase.

IN DETAIL: The Sun Tequila Tasting is back at Mohegan Sun, and this event is home base for the ultimate Cinco de Mayo experience! Tickets on sale Friday, September 13th
UNCASVILLE, CT (September 9, 2024) – Music icon Billy Joel is set to return to Mohegan Sun Arena for the first time since his record-breaking, sold-out, 10-show residency where he performed for 100,000 guests in 2008. Guests can check out the “Piano Man” on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 8:00pm.
Tickets to see Billy Joel go on sale Friday, September 13th at 10:00am via Ticketmaster.com. Tickets are also available via the Mohegan Sun Box Office starting Saturday, September 14th, subject to availability. Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets beginning Tuesday, September 10th at 10:00am until Thursday, September 12th at 10:00pm.
Billy Joel ranks as one of the most popular recording artists and respected entertainers in history. The singer/songwriter/composer is the sixth best-selling recording artist and the fourth best-selling solo artist with over 160 million records sold worldwide. Chicago received The Recording Academy’s “Lifetime Achievement Award” from the GRAMMYS. The “Lifetime Achievement Award” celebrates performers who have made outstanding contributions of artistic significance to the field of recording. A special award ceremony and tribute concert celebrating the honorees was held in 2020.
Chicago was inducted into the 2016 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. This was their first nomination. They’ve been eligible since 1994. A long time coming!
