IN DETAIL: Taking over the Wolf Den, MADD About Dan + Shay will be the 9th year that Mohegan Sun is a proud partner of Mothers Against Drunk Driving for a benefit featuring a great night of fun and entertainment. Festivities will include a WCTY pre-party, meet & greet and a silent auction held at The Shops at Mohegan Sun. Longtime supporter and radio host, Shelly Martinez of WCTY-FM, will also be on-hand to give a special message before the concert. All proceeds benefit MADD.
Tickets are $100.00 and $50.00 and go on sale Friday, July 14th at 10:00am at the Mohegan Sun Box Office and through Ticketmaster.com. All ticket holders will also get access to the WCTY pre-party, taking place at The Cabaret Theatre at 6:00pm, with hors d’oeuvres, drinks and live entertainment!
Admission to the Wolf Den will begin at 7:00pm. Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in a special silent auction, taking place at The Shops at Mohegan Sun from 5:00pm to 10:00pm.

Mohegan Sun Arena to host tour on September 17th; Tickets on sale beginning Saturday, April 8th at 10:00am
UNCASVILLE, CT (April 5, 2016) – Don Henley will tour Europe and North America this summer beginning June 20th in Stockholm, Sweden at Ericsson Globe, with dates scheduled through September 21st. Henley will play Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, September 17th for a 7:30pm concert. The artist will perform songs spanning his entire career from the Eagles and his vast solo catalog, including songs from his latest release, Cass County.
Tickets are $69.50 and $49.50 and go on sale Saturday, April 9th through Ticketmaster at 10:00am. Don Henley, both as solo artist and as a member of the Eagles, has received many accolades, including eight Grammy Awards, numerous gold and platinum records and performed sold-out concert tours worldwide. A respected, popular and critically celebrated musical artist, Henley is a founding member, vocalist and songwriter of the Eagles that has become one of the most influential bands in America. Henley’s solo

UNCASVILLE, CT (February 24, 2016) – Undefeated world champion Keith Thurman sustained an injury as a result of a car accident that has forced his welterweight title defense date against Shawn Porter at Mohegan Sun Arena to be cancelled. The announcement was made Monday by promoter Lou DiBella, president of DiBella Entertainment. According to his doctors, Thurman’s injuries are not considered serious and he is expected to be cleared to resume training in the coming weeks. Thurman vs. Porter was the main event of a scheduled two-fight card to be broadcast in prime time on CBS on March 12th. This fight and the network broadcast will now be rescheduled for a later date.
Tickets purchased for the Thurman vs. Porter fight will be refunded at the point of purchase.
“While it is unfortunate that we must temporarily postpone this marquee matchup, a main event of the magnitude of Thurman vs. Porter requires both fighters be healthy and at their best,” said DiBella. “Keith is anxious to resume training as soon he is able and both he and Shawn are looking forward to a new fight date.”

Def Leppard has rescheduled the band’s previously postponed dates on their 2016 tour. Tickets purchased for the previously scheduled shows will be honored on the rescheduled dates.
