UNCASVILLE, CT (November 3, 2014) —Multiple Grammy Award-winning singer and legendary performer Bette Midler announced today that she will return to the stage for her first major tour in a decade. The Divine Miss M’s national tour kicks off on May 8th in Hollywood, FL at The Hard Rock Live and will visit 22 cities nationwide, including a stop at Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, June 13th for an 8:00pm show. The tour is produced by Live Nation and Larry Magid Entertainment Group.
The tour will feature material from Midler’s iconic career and material from her new album, “It’s The Girls!” – a glorious tribute to girl groups through the ages. “It’s The Girls!” features the swinging sounds of WWII-era Andrews Sisters, to 60’s super-groups like the Supremes and the Shirelles, to 90’s hit makers TLC. The album will be released on November 4th on Warner Bros. Records and East West Records / Warner Music UK on November 17th, 2014.
Midler will make several major TV appearances this week including performances on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon (Nov. 5), NBC’s ‘TODAY’ show (Nov. 6) and LIVE! With Kelly and Michael (Nov 7). Midler released several track previews from the album including a breathtaking version of TLC’s Waterfalls. Just a few hours after the song’s release, the track sprinted to No. 5 on the Billboard + Twitter Trending 140. Vanity Fair raved that “you haven’t lived until you’ve heard Midler sing ‘Waterfalls.’”
“It’s The Girls!” reunites Bette Midler with long-time collaborator and Award-winning composer Marc Shaiman who produced the album, along with Scott M. Riesett. The album effortlessly showcases Midler’s distinctive and versatile vocal range while honoring timeless classic melodic harmonies.

Schumer is the creator, star, writer and executive producer of Inside Amy Schumer, the popular Comedy Central and Emmy nominated television series which premiered in April 2013 to the network’s highest season premiere ratings of the year. Schumer’s provocative and hilariously wicked mind is on full display as she explores topics revolving around sex, relationships and the general whirlwind life can be through a series of scripted vignettes, stand-up comedy and man-on-the-street interviews. The show will return for a 3rd season next year.
This summer she completed production on Universal’s Trainwreck that Schumer wrote and will star in alongside Bill Hader, Tilda Swinton and Brie Larson. Judd Apatow will produce and direct the feature film that is scheduled to be released in July 2015.
Schumer’s hit one-hour stand-up special, Mostly Sex Stuff, became Comedy Central’s second-highest rated special in 2012. She was also one of the featured comedians on Comedy Central’s Roast of Roseanne, which followed her memorable and quotable performance on the 2011 Roast of Charlie Sheen.
She was recently seen in such critically acclaimed series as FX’s Louie and HBO’s Girls. Previously, Schumer had a recurring role on the third season of Adult Swim’s Delocated, and guest starred in the latest season of Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Mohegan Sun to host the Pop Star on Saturday, March 14th; Tickets on sale Saturday, September 20th

Produced and promoted exclusively by Live Nation, The Honeymoon Tour will kick off February 25, 2015 at the Independence Event Center in Kansas City, Mo. Taylor released his breakthrough album Sweet Baby James in 1970. It went triple-platinum and spawned his first top 10 hit, the intensely personal “Fire and Rain.” The following year saw the release of another million-seller, Mud Slide Slim and the Blue Horizon, with the #1 single “You’ve Got a Friend,” written by his longtime friend Carole King. The recording won a Grammy Award in 1971 for “Best Pop Male Vocal.” In 1972, Taylor scored another gold album with One Man Dog, followed up in 1973 with Walking Man. The album Gorilla (1975) included two more major chart entries: “How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)” and “Mexico.” Following his final Warner Brothers recording, In the Pocket, Taylor moved on to Columbia Records and released a string of critically praised and commercially successful albums: JT, his 1977 double-platinum Columbia debut; Flag (1979); Dad Loves His Work (1981); That’s Why I’m Here (1985); Never Die Young (1988); New Moon Shine (1991); the double-disc Live album (1993); Hourglass (1998), garnering Taylor his first Grammy Award for Best Pop Album; and October Road (2002)—all certified platinum.
The year 2000 saw Taylor’s induction into both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the prestigious Songwriters Hall of Fame. The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences selected him as its MusiCares “Person of the Year” in 2006, and his One Man Band (2007) was nominated for an Emmy Award in the category of “Outstanding Variety, Music, or Comedy Special.” In 2008, Taylor released Covers and Other Covers that features Taylor’s full band and is his own musical interpretation of tunes from the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s. In May 2010, Taylor released the Live at the Troubadour CD/DVD of his November 2007 live performance with Carole King at the Troubadour nightclub in Los Angeles. Their subsequent Troubadour Reunion tour was one of the most successful concert tours of the decade. Most recently, Morgan Neville’s acclaimed documentary, Troubadours: The Rise of the Singer-Songwriter was nominated for the Jury Prize at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival and was recently broadcast on PBS as part of its prestigious American Masters series.
James Taylor has received honorary doctorates of music from Williams College and the Berklee School of Music. Raised in North Carolina, he lives in western Massachusetts with his wife Caroline and their sons Henry and Rufus.
