Concert to kick off at 8:00pm and tickets are on-sale March 6th
UNCASVILLE, CT (March 2, 2015) — Mohegan Sun Arena will welcome back one of the greatest bands ever, Earth, Wind & Fire to Uncasville, CT for a Thursday, May 21st performance.

Earth, Wind & Fire was born in Chicago in 1969 and is still making music that crosses years and decades and now connects the 20th and 21st centuries. Rolling Stone Magazine said that Earth, Wind & Fire is “a Funk-fusion powerhouse that changed the sound and history of popular music.”
Inducted into both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Vocal Group Hall of Fame, Earth, Wind & Fire has earned eight Grammy Awards and four American Music Awards. EWF has sold more than 90 million albums worldwide and remains one of the world’s top touring bands.
In 2013, Earth, Wind & Fire released, Now, Then & Forever on Legacy/Sony Music Entertainment. “The Now, Then & Forever album is really about the legacy of Earth, Wind & Fire,” said the group’s co-founder Philip Bailey. “The spirit of the band has always been about uplifting the consciousness of humanity. Superstar siblings plan all-new tour due to fan demand; Mohegan Sun Arena welcomes the dance pair back for two shows on July 12th
UNCASVILLE, CT (March 2, 2015) — On the heels of their sold out 2014 tour, superstar siblings Julianne and Derek Hough will team up once again, dancing their way across stages all over the country, in their new MOVE LIVE ON TOUR 2015. The pair stopped by Good Morning America to announce MOVE LIVE ON TOUR 2015 which will kick off on June 12th in Phoenix, AZ and hit over 40 cities including stops at the famed Radio City Music Hall in NYC, Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville and Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT for two shows on Sunday, July 12th, set for 3:00pm and 8:00pm.

The Houghs are promising MOVE LIVE ON TOUR 2015 will be bigger and better than ever. “We had such a fun and high energy show last year. It was amazing to see such a great reaction from our fans the first time, and we can’t wait til they see what we have up our sleeves now! Our goal then, and our goal now is to have it feel like a Rock concert for dance and I think we have and certainly will accomplish that again,” said Julianne Hough.
“Our fans haven’t stopped asking when we would go back out on the road so we are excited to be able to tell them that because of their support and demand, we are headed out again to bring them a new and exciting show. We can’t wait to see everyone on the road,” added Derek Hough.
The show will feature a brand new stage production to showcase the fresh, exciting and high impact choreography spanning across a multitude of different dance styles that all audience members are sure to love! The Houghs will be joined by the Move Company Dancers in a fast paced show, featuring live vocal performances from both Julianne and Derek with incredible costumes and staging to complement.
JULIANNE HOUGH is known to audiences around the world for her success in film, television and music. She was a two-time professional champion on ABC’s top-rated Dancing with the Stars, before making a seamless transition to award-winning recording artist and her feature film debut in Burlesque. She starred in the update of Footloose and the all-star film adaptation of the musical, Rock of Ages. Hough also starred opposite Josh Duhamel in Nicholas Sparks’ Safe Haven, directed by Lasse Hallstrom and starred in Diablo Cody’s directorial debut, Paradise, opposite Russell Brand and Octavia Spencer. She thrilled fans when she returned full-time to the Dancing With the Stars ballroom as the fourth judge last fall and returns for the show’s highly-anticipated 20th season, premiering March 16th. DEREK HOUGH is an Emmy Award-winning choreographer and New York Times Bestselling author of Taking the Lead: Lessons from a Life in Motion. The only five-time champion in franchise history of Dancing with the Stars, Hough’s celebrity partners have included Brooke Burke, Ricki Lake, Nicole Scherzinger, Jennifer Grey, Kellie Pickler and Amber Riley, Hough’s innovative and daring choreography has garnered him a total of six Emmy Nominations. He starred in London’s West End production of Footloose in 2006. In 2013, he partnered with World Champion ice dancers Meryl Davis and Charlie White to
