MGE Appoints Ray Pineault Regional President; Jeffrey Hamilton Assumes Role of President and General Manager of Mohegan Sun Connecticut

integrated entertainment resorts (IER) worldwide today announces two important promotions to further sustain and promote the company’s growth and development as part of its strategic growth plan for Connecticut and beyond. After more than 15 years of service to the Tribe, Ray Pineault has been appointed to Regional President for MGE, while Jeffrey Hamilton has been promoted to President and General Manager at the flagship property, Mohegan Sun Connecticut.

Ray Pineault brings many years of legal and business experience to his new position as Regional President of MGE. Ray will be responsible for ensuring that Mohegan Sun Connecticut, Mohegan Sun Pocono and Paragon Casino Resort meet or exceed operational, employee engagement, guest service, cultural, strategic and fiscal plans, while maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance. As former President and General Manager as well as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Mohegan Sun Connecticut, Ray has safeguarded and promoted the legal and commercial interests of the Tribe since 2001 and brings tremendous experience to this new position. Ray joins Chris Block, Regional President, who oversees four of MGE’s nine properties in Canada, South Korea, and Las Vegas. Both Pineault and Block report to MGE’s Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer, Michael Silberling.
Assisting in the day-to-day operations of Mohegan Sun Connecticut under the guidance of Ray Pineault and senior leadership for four years as Assistant General Manager, Jeff Hamilton is poised to take the helm as President and General Manager of the property with more than 15 years of Mohegan experience. In his new role, Jeff will be responsible for achieving overall business objectives and the strategic planning and operational results of Mohegan Sun and will also drive and oversee the development and implementation of capital and operating budgets, marketing business plans, technology, the guest experience, human capital development, and operational business plans.
Effective immediately, Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment will be conducting a global search to fill the role of Assistant General Manager of Mohegan Sun Connecticut.

With Mohegan Sun’s 15th Anniversary right on the horizon, Player’s Club members can get amped up for the extra special 15th Anniversary Ultimate Experience Giveaway starting on October 1st and continuing through October 31st. The Wolf Den Takes You Back
Mohegan Sun’s Wolf Den will feature special acts that will take you back with two mid-day performances on select Mondays throughout May & June taking place from noon to 12:45pm and 1:15pm to 2:00pm.
The Main Street Cruisers will play a wide selection of Rock & Roll hits from the 50s and 60s on May 3rd. On May 10th, Rick K. and the Allnighters will take their classic Rock & Roll show to the Wolf Den stage. On May 17th, Phil Dirt & the Dozers will play their vintage Rock & Roll oldies. The Bronx Wanderers head into town on May 24th with a full set list of Pop and Rock & Roll songs of yesterday mixed with a new twist for today. Connecticut’s own, very popular and cross genre band The Cartells will be performing their Jazz, Swing, R&B and Pop in the Wolf Den on June 7th. Jazz band Eight To The Bar, which was just named “Best Live Band 2010” by Hartford Magazine, hits the stage on June 14th . Mohegan Sun is pleased to announce the recent promotion of Ian Davison to Vice President of Table Games. Davison is a passionate day-one employee who recently served as Director of Table Games. In his position, Davison will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of over 300 table games and overseeing 2,000 employees. He will also be responsible for maintaining maximum gaming product revenue by effectively identifying proper product mixture, positioning and pricing levels. Davison has over 34 years of experience in the casino industry and, throughout his career, has worked closely with various departments in the daily operations for Slots, Accounting, Human Resources and Marketing.
He began his career in England in 1975 and then worked eleven years at Paradise Island, Bahamas followed by a position with Trump Plaza in Atlantic City. He joined Mohegan Sun upon opening of the original Casino of the Earth in 1996 as Director of Table Games.
In addition to Davison’s promotion, Mohegan Sun is also pleased to welcome James McMackin as Vice President of Player Development and Jonathan Hogan to Executive Host of Poker.
In his new role, McMackin will focus on attracting and introducing new customers to Mohegan Sun while also staying involved with the marketing strategies and creative processes in place for existing patrons. McMackin started his professional career at Trump Castle, Atlantic City in 1993 where he was part of the management team for the marina department as well as serving in a marketing capacity as a Casino Host. In 2000, McMackin transitioned to Caesars, Atlantic City where he took on roles as Director of Player Development/Casino Hosts. Just before arriving at Mohegan Sun, McMackin worked at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City as Director of Player Development. McMackin has sixteen years of experience in the casino industry.
Hogan is the newest member to Mohegan Sun’s Poker Room. As Executive Host of Poker, he will cater to new and existing poker players ensuring their visiting and gaming needs are met. Along with an extensive amount of customer relations, Hogan will also focus on various sales & marketing components for Mohegan Sun’s poker room. Hogan’s experience includes Front Office Manager at Wyndham Midtown Atlanta Hotel where he worked from 2000 – 2003. He later took on duties as General Manager at Café Kaydance in Norwich, CT from 2005 – 2007. From there, he joined Mohegan Sun as Casino Host and Executive Host.
