UNCASVILLE, CT (September 4, 2024) –– Legends in Concert will rock Mohegan Sun Arena with their dynamic production on Friday, November 8th. The 7:30pm show features tribute artists with incredible portrayals of Freddie Mercury, Donna Summer and Tina Turner.
Tickets for the legendary evening go on sale Friday, September 6th at 10:00am via Ticketmaster.com. Subject to availability, fans can purchase tickets at the Mohegan Sun Box Office starting on Saturday, September 7th.
The show is renowned for its spectacular production, including dazzling costumes, elaborate stage sets, and state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems. Each tribute artist performs with live musicians and dancers, delivering high-energy renditions of classic hits that transport the audience back to the golden eras of music. With its blend of authenticity and entertainment, “Legends in Concert” offers a unique and unforgettable experience for fans of all ages.
Legends in Concert is celebrating 40+ years of success this year and claims the title of longest-running show in Las Vegas. Grand prize winner will receive $5,000 and a headlining show in the Wolf Den
UNCASVILLE, CT (August 28, 2024) – This November, 12 local bands and musicians will have the opportunity to be crowned champion when the alluring four-week Locals Live competition returns. Mohegan Sun and Hall Communications will host the 10th annual competition where area talent battle for a $5,000 grand prize. The Locals Live champion will also get the opportunity to headline their own show in the award-winning Wolf Den, where acts like Thomas Rhett, Run DMC, Five For Fighting, and previous winners like Nick Bosse and Unwoke have graced the stage. Submissions can be made starting today, through Wednesday, September 25th via the WCTY website.
Mohegan Sun and Hall Communications will select 12 bands/musicians plus two alternates, and four acts per week will compete live in the Wolf Den every Wednesday from November 6th – December 4th (excluding November 27th) from 8:00pm to 10:00pm. A live audience vote will select who moves on to the most epic musical clash in town, the final competition, on Wednesday, December 4th. At the finals, a panel of expert judges will play a pivotal role in deciding the official Locals Live champion.
Admission to attend Locals Live is free, and guests can enjoy $4 Michelob Ultra and Bud Light specials. Guests may line up no sooner than three hours before the show. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. One guest can hold four spots in line, but seats will only be given to those present at the time of seating. All guests must be 21 or older to enter the Wolf Den.
For the purposes of this competition, talent is defined as musicians, bands, or singer-songwriters only. All talent must be 21 years of age or older and from CT, RI, MA or NY. Performers must adhere to all Mohegan Sun rules and sign a guidelines contract prior to performance. Talent must be able to set up by 5:00pm on date of performance for sound check. All rules subject to change/management interpretation.

Two-day festival kicks off on Friday, October 25th
UNCASVILLE, CT (August 14, 2024) – Fall is right around the corner and so is the return of Sun BrewFest Weekend at Mohegan Sun! The action gets started on Friday, October 25th with the 3rd Annual Seltzer Social taking place on the revamped Sun Patio. On Saturday, October 26th, the 11th Annual Sun BrewFest is set to take place in the Earth Expo & Convention Center and promises to deliver good times and great beer!

Guests are invited to get ready for a bubbly bash at Mohegan Sun’s Seltzer Social! At the event, guests can expect a variety of seltzer flavors, from classic flavors to bold and adventurous new blends! Food and beverage tastings are all included in the ticket price. Guests are invited to sip, savor and celebrate at the highly anticipated Sun BrewFest! From beer enthusiasts to those just looking for a fun afternoon out, this festival promises to deliver for everyone. Guests can sample a diverse selection of beers from the best local and regional breweries, eat tasty food from local restaurants and enjoy incredible live music performed by American Honey. Samples are included in ticket pricing. Plus, guests can compete in a Wicked Cornhole Tournament and a Stein Hoisting Competition that will be sure to keep everyone entertained!
Wicked Cornhole Tournament
Guests are invited to bring their best competition and toss some bags at the Sun BrewFest Cornhole Tournament hosted by Wicked Cornhole. The winning team will receive a $500 cash prize, a free hotel stay for future use and two tickets to a show at Mohegan Sun Arena (subject to availability)! Second place will receive a $300 cash prize and third place will receive a $200 cash prize. Advanced registration for the Wicked Cornhole tournament is required to participate. For tournament registration, guests must purchase a special ticket via Eventbrite that also includes access to the VIP hour (2:00pm – 3:00pm) at Sun BrewFest. Tournament guests can check in at a designated will call window on the day of event.
Tickets to Seltzer Social and Sun BrewFest are available during a special pre-sale from Thursday, August 15th at 10:00am – Wednesday, August 21st at 11:59pm. The general on sale begins Thursday, August 22nd at 10:00am. Those who are interested in everything Sun BrewFest Weekend has to offer have the option to purchase a Seltzer Social and Sun BrewFest combo ticket during both the special pre-sale and general on sale. Additionally, designated driver tickets will be available for those who are skipping the beer, but still want to enjoy the entertainment, activities, and great food at Sun BrewFest. All tickets will be available via Ticketmaster and the Mohegan Sun Box Office, subject to availability.
