Uncasville, CT (December 17, 2013) –  Watch Mohegan Tribal Councilor Bruce “Two Dogs” Bozsum as he goes undercover at two of its properties, Mohegan Sun in Connecticut and Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs in Pennsylvania, on CBS’s hit show UNDERCOVER BOSS on Friday, January 17th.
Towards the end of his term as Chairman, Bozsum went undercover at the gaming, hotel and entertainment destinations as he prepared to pass the business on to the next Chairman of the Mohegan Tribal Council. In the episode, Bozsum learns the high-stakes role of slot attending and nearly runs out of gas as he retrieves cars from the valet.
More details about this episode of UNDERCOVER BOSS will be revealed closer to the air date which is set for Friday, January 17, 2014 from 8:00pm – 9:00pm ET/PT on the CBS Television Network.
UNDERCOVER BOSS is a two-time Emmy Award-winning reality series that follows high-level corporate executives as they slip anonymously into the rank-and-file of their own companies.  Each week, a different executive will leave the comfort of their corner office for an undercover mission to examine the inner workings of their corporation.

Mohegan Sun’s World Of Holiday Marvels Is Back In Time For The Holiday Season

Festivities include a life-size gingerbread house, holiday décor, a tree lighting ceremony and a special Nutcracker performance

UNCASVILLE, CT – Experience the magic of the season as Mohegan Sun’s World of Holiday Marvels kicks off on Thursday, December 5th. Come discover new tree scenes, ornaments, giant snowflakes and much more.

Starting at 6:00pm on Thursday, December 5th, holiday cookies, cocoa and cider will be available at the incredible life-size Gingerbread House in The Shops concourse. Created by Executive Pastry Chef Lynn Mansel and Mohegan Sun’s Culinary Pastry Team, this 28 foot tall masterpiece, made out of over 20,000 pounds of royal icing and cookies, is a must-see for the whole family. Visitors of all ages can walk through the house to view the small rooms filled with candied decorations guarded by four 7 foot edible nutcracker soldiers.

At 7:00pm, witness the lighting of the outdoor tree on screens throughout The Shops concourse featuring a spectacular indoor fireworks display. Afterwards, The Albano Ballet Company’s production of The Nutcracker will take place in the Mohegan Sun Arena at 7:30pm. Audience members will be captivated by lavish costumes, new theatrical scenery, international stars and a cast of over 100 dancers, making this the perfect evening to get into the holiday spirit.
Throughout the property, Mohegan Sun has set up a variety of holiday decorations. Casino of the Earth features ornaments and illuminated wreaths measuring over ten feet tall.  The Shops concourse has been turned into a winter wonderland with a giant wreath, custom-designed snowflakes suspended over iceberg islands and life-size nutcracker statues. In the hotel lobby, a beautiful decorated tree defies gravity as it stands atop the reflecting pool.

New this year to the marvel collection is the 22 foot tall, handcrafted spiraling Sky Tree located in front of Ben & Jerry’s. Inspired by Mohegan Tribal traditions, this marvel is decorated with intricate beadwork, sculpted clay feathers and natural elements that encompass the spirit of the Mohegan Tribe. Be sure to also check out the fully restored ornament stack at Summer Valet as well as new additions to the Smudge Pot display in Earth Promotions.

Mohegan Sun Names David Luber Vice President Of Player Development/New Markets

Mohegan Sun is pleased to announce David Luber as the new Vice President of Player Development/New Markets. In this role, Luber will help the Mohegan Sun team cultivate relationships with new players.
Luber brings a wealth of casino experience to the position. Prior, he served as Corporate Marketing Executive at MGM Resorts International where he was tasked with developing and maintaining relationships with casino guests at all MGM International properties.
He also served as Relationship Marketing Executive at Revel in Atlantic City as well as CEO and Partner of College Mansion, LLC where he developed a large contemporary brand database.
Originally from Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Luber attended Florida International University on full athletic scholarship to play Division I basketball. While there, he was spokesman for the Student Athletic Association Committee. In his spare time, Luber enjoys playing sports and spending time with his family.

Thanksgiving Dinner Is Served At Mohegan Sun

Guests can enjoy a variety of dining and retail specials on November 28th
To celebrate a day of food, family and friends, Mohegan Sun will be offering a number of dining and retail specials this Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 28th.
At Todd English’s Tuscany, guests can feast on a three-course dinner for $34.00 per person. Start the meal off with a salad of roasted beets, whipped goat cheese, spiced nuts, mixed greens and brown butter balsamic vinaigrette, followed by a main course of sage brined heritage turkey, sausage potato stuffing, roasted root vegetables, bacon dijon Brussels petals, grappa cranberry sauce and giblet gravy. For dessert, enjoy warm apple crisp with cranberry ice cream and Grand Marnier whipped cream.
A special Thanksgiving Day menu will also be offered at Ballo Italian Restaurant for $42.00 per person. This includes a round of classic Caesar salad or arugula, parmigiano, pine nuts & lemon or butternut squash soup. For the second course, enjoy roasted turkey, apple sage stuffing, family-style gravy, cranberry sauce, whipped sweet potatoes and Brussels sprouts with pancetta. To top it off, indulge in cheesecake with apple & cranberry or a cannoli.
Seasons Buffet will be featuring such Thanksgiving classics as rotisserie turkey, wild mushroom & sausage stuffing, cranberry sauce, apple and pumpkin pie, as well as some non-traditional dishes including harvest ravioli, bourbon-molasses mashed sweet potatoes, apple cider sorbet and much more.

Shaquille O’Neal is widely regarded as one of the most dominant athletes of all time as well as one of the greatest centers in professional basketball history.
