Bingo After Dark Returns To Mohegan Sun In November

WHAT: Mohegan Sun’s Bingo After Dark will light up the night on Saturday, November 30th.

IN DETAIL: Back by popular demand, Mohegan Sun’s hottest late night bingo game returns in November. Taking place inside Mohegan Sun’s Uncas Ballroom, Bingo After Dark is an ultra-hip bingo game set against a neon backdrop.
Doors open at 9:00pm and the games begin at 10:00pm.  The entry fee is $20 per person and covers eight rounds of bingo, entertainment and more. Players will have a chance to win cash prizes from a prize pool totaling $15,000. In between rounds, a DJ will be spinning and a cash bar will be available including complimentary soft drinks all night long.
Tickets are on sale now at the Mohegan Sun Box Office and Ticketmaster. Must be 21 years of age or older and a Momentum member to participate.

Halloween is Horrifically Fun at Mohegan Sun

UNCASVILLE, CT  — Have a frighteningly good time this Halloween at Mohegan Sun with costume parties, signature drinks and a special screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show featuring the Teseracte Players.
Kick off the spooktacular fun with a special screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show featuring the Teseracte Players in The Cabaret Theatre at 11:45pm on Friday, October 25th. Be there as the screening of the film comes to life with character impersonations from the Teseracte Players. Admission is free and for guests 21 years of age or older.
Then, on Saturday, October 26th, see former Wonder Woman herself, Lynda Carter, as she performs a free concert in the 350-seat Wolf Den beginning at 8:00pm. Afterwards, take part in the epic battle of good versus evil with a Heroes and Villains themed party at VISTA Lounge. Doors open at 10:00pm.  There is no cover, but space will be limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
And on Halloween night, be sure to stop by MIST for a special costume party sponsored by Bacardi. DJ Playtime will spin the beats and drink specials will be offered. Guests could win up to $1,000 as prizes will be awarded to Best Overall Costume, Most Original Costume and Sexiest Costume.

Fashionphile Presents Designer Diva At Mohegan Sun

Fashion enthusiasts will have the chance to buy and sell high-end luxury handbags while enjoying an exclusive cocktail party
Mohegan Sun will be teaming up with the leading source in luxury gently-used handbags, Fashionphile for Designer Diva on Friday, November 8th. This lavish cocktail party will be held at VISTA Lounge from 8:00pm to 10:00pm and will include a complimentary-themed party drink, luxury bags on display available for purchase and a chance to win a high-end designer handbag.
Guests will also have the opportunity to bring in their gently used Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Gucci and Hermes bags to exchange for cash. Fashionphile will be buying and selling luxury bags at Mohegan Sun’s Convention Center during the event. Each exchange will earn participants a free entry into the party.
The following day on Saturday, November 9th, Fashionphile will host another buying and selling event in the Convention Center from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. Handbags will be for sale from Fashionphile as well as buying opportunities for Fashionphile to buy gently used handbags from guests. Participation will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Mohegan Sun Names Frederick Brown As Senior Vice President Of Information Technology And Chief Information Officer

UNCASVILLE, CT – Mohegan Sun is pleased to welcome Frederick Brown as Senior Vice President of InformationTechnology and Chief Information Officer where he will oversee all aspects of the Information Systems department. Brown has over 20 years of IT experience, most recently as Vice President of Information Technology at the flagship’s sister property, Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
Brown began at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs in 2006 first serving as IT Engineering Manager, then moving on to become the Director of Information Technology before being promoted to Vice President of Information Technology in 2011. Prior to that, he worked as a programmer, analyst and Manager for Penn Software, Southern Union and System One Solutions.
Brown received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from King’s College located in Pennsylvania.  He currently resides in the Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania area with his wife Leann and two children.
