Tickets go on sale Saturday, August 29th for KISS’s October 3rd concert at Mohegan Sun
UNCASVILLE, CT (August 24, 2009) — One of the most legendary Rock bands of all-time with 24 straight gold or better records, KISS, will take center stage at Mohegan Sun Arena for their “Kiss Alive 35” tour on Saturday, October 3rd. Special guests Buckcherry open the show which begins at 7:30pm.
Tickets are $95.00 and $75.00 and go on sale Saturday, August 29th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster. Mohegan Sun and Ultra 88 Night Club host Donnie Wahlberg’s official birthday party on August 25th
UNCASVILLE, CT (August 19, 2009) — At 40, he’s still got the Right Stuff. Grown-up boy band member turned producer, film star and song writer, Donnie Wahlberg is throwing his official 40th birthday celebration at Mohegan Sun and inviting fans to help blow out the candles. The birthday bash begins at 9:00pm on Tuesday, August 25th at Ultra 88 Night Club.
Donnie Wahlberg jumped to superstardom as a member of the Pop sensation New Kids on the Block in the late 80s. Wahlberg then went on to have a very successful career as an actor and film producer, co-starring in the popular miniseries Band of Brothers and numerous feature films such as Righteous Kill, Ransom, The Sixth Sense, Annapolis and various installments of the Saw series. Most recently, Wahlberg has been on a world tour with reunited New Kids On The Block members and is rumored to be working on a solo music project of his own. “Live Performances Presented by The Shops At Mohegan Sun” with Amanda Overmyer slated for Thursday, August 27th
UNCASVILLE, CT (August 6, 2009)— The Shops at Mohegan Sun present the one-of-a-kind rocker and former American Idol contestant Amanda Overmyer on Thursday, August 27th. This special event will feature a live, free performance in The Shops concourse at Mohegan Sun at 7:00pm, followed by a signing event at 7:30pm. Overmyer will be autographing merchandise and copies of her album Solidify which is available for purchase at Spin Street.
Amanda Overmyer is an incredible young artist who displays her Classic Rock roots every time she sings or takes the stage. Rock legends like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bob Seger and Credence Clearwater Revival are some of her biggest inspirations, and the world got a glimpse of her talent on Fox’s American Idol season seven. She recorded her debut album Solidify in a remarkable nine days directly following the network series.
