UNCASVILLE, CT (April 11, 2025) – On Sunday, May 11th, Mohegan Sun will transform into the ultimate Mother’s Day destination as guests can celebrate mom with a choice between delicious brunches, a spa day, New England Craft Festival, or mouthwatering dining specials. And for those who can’t make it to the resort on Mother’s Day, Mohegan Sun’s gift card promotion ensures a very special day for mom in the future.
A yearly highlight at Mohegan Sun is the Premium and Classic Mother’s Day Brunches. This year moms are in for a treat as both brunches, taking place in the Uncas Ballroom, will be decked out with an elegant floral tea party theme. The Premium Brunch is set to take place from 10:00am – Noon on Mother’s Day while the Classic Brunch will follow from 1:30pm – 3:30pm. Tickets to both brunches are on sale now via Ticketmaster and the Mohegan Sun Box Office, subject to availability. Premium Mother’s Day Brunch attendees can enjoy chef-curated brunch specialties like pancakes, crispy bacon, jumbo shrimp with cocktail sauce, a prime rib carving station and a decadent dessert display while the Classic Mother’s Day Brunch offers a delightful spread of elevated brunch favorites like fluffy scrambled eggs, mini croissants and scones, pineapple glazed ham, decadent pastas and a tempting assortment of desserts. Both brunches will feature live music from Mass-Conn-Fusion, and a complimentary Mimosa, Bellini and Bloody Mary bar.
Beauty & Essex will also begin offering weekend brunch beginning Saturday, April 26th and feature delectable menu options including, but not limited to, Chicken n’ Biscuits, Rancheros, Shrimp & Grits, and Red Velvet Waffles. Reservations for Mother’s Day weekend open on Saturday, April 12th.
Over in the Earth Expo & Convention Center, the New England Spring Craft Festival is set to take place from 9:00am – 6:00pm on Saturday, May 10th and 9:00am – 5:00pm on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 11th. More than 250 local artisans will showcase one-of-a-kind treasures and handcrafted ceramics, in addition to an array of specialty food offerings, curated to enhance the springtime experience at this inaugural event. UNCASVILLE, CT (April 16, 2024) – It’s time to treat Mom to a heartwarming celebration at Mohegan Sun’s Mother’s Day Brunch. Give Mom the gift of some precious family moments filled with live music by David Davis and an incredible selection of food, desserts and classic cocktails. Mohegan Sun will be offering two options to celebrate Mom, the Premium Brunch and the Classic Brunch, which will both take place in the Uncas Ballroom. Additionally, both options will feature dairy-free, gluten-free and vegan selections.
The Premium Brunch is set to take place from 10:00am – Noon and will feature delectable, chef-selected breakfast and lunch delights from a classic buffet. Mohegan Sun’s Mother Day Brunch will be offering two types of brunch options to celebrate Mom this year. The first option is The Premium Brunch, which features an exclusive chef selected breakfast and lunch buffet that highlights delectable flavors from the land and sea, as well as a selection of specialty sweet treats for Mother’s Day dessert and a complimentary Mimosa, Bellini, and Bloody Mary bar. The Classic Brunch will feature a complimentary Mimosa, Bellini, and Bloody Mary bar along with popular breakfast comfort foods and hearty lunch favorites that will delight your taste buds in a buffet with a selection of special Mother’s Day desserts. Give Mom the gift of some quality family time filled with delicious food, indulgent desserts, classic cocktails and live music! Tickets are $75 for the Premium Brunch and $55 for the Classic Brunch. All tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster and the Mohegan Sun Box Office, subject to availability. Alcohol will only be available for the adult ticket price.
Dinner at BALLO Italian Restaurant starts with slow-roasted tomatoes, grilled peaches, mozzarella and 12-year aged balsamic for $17. The first of two main course options is a Homemade Wild Mushroom Ravioli made with mascarpone, shaved asparagus, brown butter and sage for $28. The second option is a Surf and Turf consisting of an 8-ounce filet mignon, 4-ounce prosciutto wrapped scallops, watercress and radish salad for $70. Desert is a strawberry tart made with mascarpone, white chocolate and strawberry coulis for $12.
Sushi Koya will be offering a Pink Lady Roll for $20, House Sake for $5 and a Koya Cocktail for $10. This special is dine-in only and may not be combined with other discounts. Tax & gratuity is not included.
Guests who spend Mother’s Day with Michael Jordan’s Steak House can enjoy a Miso Honey Chilean Seabass paired with green onion mashed potatoes, bok choy and soy glaze for $52. Another option is the Octopus Carpaccio served with lemon, olives, capers, Sicilian dressing and sourdough bread for $18.
Hash House A Go Go is serving up a meal that features a Crab Cake Benedict consisting of house-made griddled crab cake on top of a bed of mashed potatoes, split biscuits, sliced tomatoes, and fresh spinach topped with over easy eggs and spicy chili cream for $30.99. Guests looking for a sweeter option can try the Raspberry White Chocolate Chip Pancake, which is a buttermilk pancake topped with raspberries and white chocolate chips, topped with more white chocolate chips and whipped cream for $13.49.
Jasper White’s Summer Shack will be offering a dine-in only, prix fixe menu for $45 per person. Guests can choose one item from each category. The appetizer options are a choice of Cocktail Shrimp (3), a Cup of Creamy Clam Chowder or a Mixed Greens Salad with house vinaigrette. The first entrée option is a Shack Style Baked Haddock made with tomato fondue and garlic crumbs, with jasmine rice and broccoli. The next option is a Grilled Lobster Tail featured with beurre blanc, roasted potatoes and daily vegetable. The last entrée choice is Tenderloin Steak Tips made with garlic butter and served with mashed potatoes and roasted mushrooms. For dessert, guests will be able to choose one of Jasper White Summer Shack’s house-made creations. Guests can also enjoy a glass of bubbles for $8 per glass. Mother’s Day at SolToro consists of two special options. The first option is a Horchata French Toast made with cinnamon-roasted apricots, horchata eggnog and Mexican crema for $15. The second option is Cochinita’s Enchiladas made with slow roasted pork, ranchera sauce, sour cream, queso fresco and corn tortillas for $19.

UNCASVILLE, CT (May 3, 2021) – Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 9th and guests are invited to treat Mom to a special day at Mohegan Sun. BALLO Italian Restaurant, Michael Jordan’s Steak House, SolToro and more are serving up delicious dining specials and The Shops at Mohegan Sun have the perfect gift that Mom is sure to love.
A Mother’s Day meal at BALLO Italian Restaurant starts with the choice of a classic caprese salad topped with aged balsamico and paired with focaccia bread, or a mista salad with marinated shrimp, eggplant caponata, roasted red pepper, grilled corn, marinated & slow roasted tomatoes and arugula topped with a lemon basil vinaigrette. The entrée is veal saltimbocca with prosciutto, spinach, mozzarella, fried sage and slow roasted tomatoes. Dessert is either a decadent amaretto crème brûlée or angel food cake with limoncello, mixed berries, basil and whipped cream. BALLO Italian Restaurant is open on Mother’s Day from 3:00pm – 10:00pm.
Michael Jordan’s Steak House is serving a three course meal that starts with colossal crab cocktail made of lump crab meat, Jonah crab claw, Meyer lemon vinaigrette and avocado. The main course is surf & turf with a 7 oz. filet mignon, stuffed lobster tail, asparagus and roasted tomato hollandaise. Dessert is refreshing mixed berries topped with granola crumble, whipped cream and mint.
Over at MJ23 Sports Bar & Grill, Mom can enjoy tomato bruschetta with beefsteak tomato, red onion, garlic, pesto, parmesan and a balsamic reduction. Dinner is seafood stuffed salmon made with Black Pearl salmon topped with hollandaise and a side of pesto mashed potatoes. Dessert is a delicious banana spring roll topped with cinnamon sugar, caramel and served with vanilla ice cream.
A three course meal at SolToro starts with a beet salad made with arugula, jalapeño, Boursin cheese and honey chipotle vinaigrette. The main course is a mixed grill with ancho chile filet mignon, poblano cream cheese chicken breast, achiote pork tenderloin, chile glaze and a side of fried plantains.
