All Six Teams are Featured in the Associated Press Preseason Top 25 Rankings
UNCASVILLE, CT (October 19, 2023) – The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame announced that limited tickets remain for the Invesco QQQ Basketball Hall of Fame Women’s Showcase on Sunday, December 10, at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.
All six teams participating in the highly anticipated event are ranked in the recently unveiled Associated Press Preseason Top 25 List, including four of the top six (No. 2 UConn, No. 4 UCLA, No. 5 Utah, and No. 6 South Carolina). All three matchups will be televised nationally on ESPN/ESPN 2.
Tickets for the 10th Annual Invesco QQQ Women’s Showcase are on sale via Ticketmaster and at the Mohegan Sun Arena Box Office.

UNCASVILLE, CT (May 16, 2018) – The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame has announced the field of teams and brackets for the 2018 Tip-Off Tournament presented by Citi. The annual NCAA men’s exempt tournament sponsored by the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference will take place Friday, November 16th through Sunday, November 18th at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. Eight schools will compete in two four-team brackets with campus round games leading up to the Mohegan Sun Arena contests.
Teams scheduled to participate in this year’s Tip-Off Tournament are: George Washington University (Atlantic 10), College of the Holy Cross (Patriot League), University of Michigan (Big Ten), Norfolk State University (Mid-Eastern), Providence College (Big East), Siena College (Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference), University of South Carolina (SEC) and Stony Brook University (America East).
“With the recent extension of our partnership with Mohegan Sun and the addition of Citi as our presenting partner, we couldn’t be more excited about this year’s event,” said John L. Doleva, President and CEO of the Basketball Hall of Fame. “The Hall of Fame Tip-Off Tournament has cemented itself as one of the best early season competitions and we look forward to hosting this year’s teams and loyal fans.”
The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference will continue to serve as the host conference for the annual event. The MAAC has developed a strong partnership with the Basketball Hall of Fame, including the addition of a MAAC exhibit in the Hall of Fame museum in Springfield, Massachusetts.
General public tickets will go on sale Friday, September 7th at 10:00am ET via all Ticketmaster outlets and the Mohegan Sun Box Office. Pre-sales for participating schools begin Friday, June 1st. UNCASVILLE, CT (April 29, 2015) — The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced today the field of teams and brackets for the 2015 Tip-Off Tournament. The annual NCAA men’s exempt tournament sponsored by the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference will take place Saturday, November 21st and Sunday, November 22nd at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut highlighted by eight schools in two four-team brackets with campus round games taking place around the Mohegan Sun Arena schedule.
Teams scheduled to participate in this year’s Tip-Off Tournament are:
University at Buffalo (Mid-American), University of Florida (SEC), Niagara University (MAAC), North
Carolina A&T (MEAC), Old Dominion University (CUSA), Purdue University (BIG 10),
Saint Joseph’s University (Atlantic 10) and University of Vermont (Am. East).
“The Hall of Fame Tip-Off Tournament at Mohegan Sun has become one of the most acclaimed collegiate tournaments in the month of November,” said John L. Doleva, President and CEO of the Basketball Hall of Fame. “Of the teams who participated in 2014, four of them made it to the NCAA Tournament. We hope this competitive atmosphere will serve as a stepping-stone for the teams contending this year as well.
