Tickets on sale Friday, December 15th
UNCASVILLE, CT (December 12, 2023) –– Multi-Grammy Award-winning and diamond-selling Rap superstar, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, Nelly, will take over the Mohegan Sun Arena stage on Wednesday, March 20th for an 8:00pm show.
Tickets to see the Midwest Hip-Hop legend go on sale Friday, December 15th at 10:00am via Ticketmaster.com. Tickets can also be bought at the Mohegan Sun Box Office beginning on Saturday, December 16th, subject to availability.
Nelly embarked on his music career with Midwest hip hop group St. Lunatics, in 1993 and signed to Universal Records in 1999. Nelly entered the spotlight with the release of Country Grammar in 2000, spending seven weeks at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 and spawning the massive hits “Ride Wit Me”, “Country Grammar”, and “E.I.”. The album landed Nelly four Grammy Award nominations and sold over nine million copies worldwide. Country Grammar is Nelly’s best-selling album to date, selling over 8.4 million copies in the United States.
Nelly kept the momentum going with the 2002 release of Nellyville. The album debuted at #1 on top of scoring Nelly his first two Grammy Awards for “Hot in Here” – “Best Male Rap Solo Performance” – and “Dilemma” [feat. Kelly Rowland] – “Best Rap Song Collaboration”. This album was highly successful and was certified 6x multi-platinum by the RIAA on June 27, 2003. Pop icons team up with TLC and Nelly for the ultimate summer concert ticket; Mohegan Sun Arena set for June 12th; The Main Event to kick off May 1st with tickets on sale January 31st at Livenation.com and Ticketmaster.com
UNCASVILLE, CT (January 20, 2015) — New Kids On The Block are stepping into the ring for 2015! The Pop phenoms stopped by Good Morning America this morning to announce THE MAIN EVENT, a summer headlining tour featuring very special guests, Grammy Award-winning and multi-platinum selling artists TLC and Nelly. NKOTB surprised viewers with a special reveal of TLC and a personal message from Nelly (who is currently overseas with the armed forces). The groups hinted at possible collaborations and other exciting possibilities while on the road this summer, sending fans into a frenzy across social media. The tour, promoted by Live Nation, kicks off on May 1st in Las Vegas, Nevada and will stop in over 30 cities across North America, including Mohegan Sun Arena for a 7:00pm concert on Friday, June 12th.

After announcing the tour on Good Morning America, NKOTB took over the LIVE! with Kelly and Michael set to step in and play a mix of super hits and new fan favorites throughout the entire hour on air. The groups shut down Chase Plaza at Madison Square Garden for a press conference filled with media and ecstatic fans, talking with outlets like Access Hollywood, E!, Entertainment Tonight, EXTRA, Associated Press and BuzzFeed.
