Celebrate the New Year with Mohegan Sun’s “Party into the New Year” inside the Uncas Ballroom on December 31st. Come ready to party at 10:00pm with music by Rob Pisani & Rob Necega. Tickets start at $75. The night of the event, tickets can be purchased for $150.00 at the door. Pricing includes an open bar, Midnight champagne toast, followed by a 1:00am breakfast buffet. One of Comedy’s best heads to Mohegan Sun on December 31st; Tickets on sale Friday
UNCASVILLE, CT (October 13, 2014) — The funniest, freshest face on television, Amy Schumer, will be bringing her blend of honesty and unapologetic humor to Mohegan Sun Arena for an 8:00pm show this New Year’s Eve.
Tickets are $45.00 and go on sale Friday, October 17th through Ticketmaster at 10:00am. Schumer is the creator, star, writer and executive producer of Inside Amy Schumer, the popular Comedy Central and Emmy nominated television series which premiered in April 2013 to the network’s highest season premiere ratings of the year. Schumer’s provocative and hilariously wicked mind is on full display as she explores topics revolving around sex, relationships and the general whirlwind life can be through a series of scripted vignettes, stand-up comedy and man-on-the-street interviews. The show will return for a 3rd season next year.
This summer she completed production on Universal’s Trainwreck that Schumer wrote and will star in alongside Bill Hader, Tilda Swinton and Brie Larson. Judd Apatow will produce and direct the feature film that is scheduled to be released in July 2015.
Schumer’s hit one-hour stand-up special, Mostly Sex Stuff, became Comedy Central’s second-highest rated special in 2012. She was also one of the featured comedians on Comedy Central’s Roast of Roseanne, which followed her memorable and quotable performance on the 2011 Roast of Charlie Sheen.
She was recently seen in such critically acclaimed series as FX’s Louie and HBO’s Girls. Previously, Schumer had a recurring role on the third season of Adult Swim’s Delocated, and guest starred in the latest season of Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Mohegan Sun’s all-night New Year’s Eve celebration kicks off on Tuesday, December 31st
UNCASVILLE, CT – Mohegan Sun will be throwing one of the biggest New Year’s Eve parties Connecticut has to offer on Tuesday, December 31st. Exclusive events, live entertainment and plenty of champagne will be available throughout the night, along with an extravagant finale in The Shops concourse as the crowd counts down to Midnight.

Mohegan Sun’s “Party into the New Year” sponsored by Moët & Chandon starts at 10:00pm inside the Uncas Ballroom. A dinner and a party is planned at Ballo Italian Restaurant & Social Club as they will be taking dinner reservations in the main dining room until 9:00pm and in the restaurant until
Midnight. There will be a special New Year’s Eve party taking place inside Ballo as well where all non dinner guests can attend for a $30.00 cover charge starting at 10:00pm. The event will feature a DJ, professional dancers and of course live coverage of the Times Square celebration on the TV screens above the bar.
Over in Casino of the Wind, Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville is joining the fun as well with a New Year’s Eve special that serves four Baked Stuffed Shrimp with a Portabella Parmesan Cream Rice and Green Beans and Lemon Butter Sauce. This dinner will be served at $27.95. At 10:00pm, the band KICK will be performing on the Margaritaville stage. Cover will be $10.00.

The entrée will be a Roast Prime Rib of Beef with Asparagus Spears, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Au Jus and Horseradish Cream. A dessert is also part of this special. This meal will be served at $35.00 per person.
On New Year’s Eve & Day, the new Seasons Buffet will offer everything from various Soups like the delicious Lobster Bisque to Grilled Chicken and Penne Alfredo. Guests can also feast on various Pizzas, Rotisserie Turkey, Roast Prime Rib (after 5:00pm), Steamed Mussels Fra Diavolo, Fried Clam Strips, BBQ ST. Louis Ribs and Roasted Rosemary Crusted Leg of Lamb. And the raw bar will feature Clams and Oysters on the Half Shell as well as U-Peel Shrimp (after 5:00pm).
