Old Dominion’s skyscraping anthems and electrifying live shows have put the multi-platinum-selling band prominently at the forefront of Country music. Fusing clever lyrics and an infectious sound, their lyrical wit and hook-heavy songwriting has certainly proved to be a winning formula for Nashville’s hottest band. It’s no wonder Rolling Stone cited Old Dominion as “one of mainstream Country music’s most popular live groups.” Since breaking onto the music scene, the band has notched nine No. 1 singles at Country radio, surpassed five billion on-demand streams, earned over a dozen RIAA Platinum and Gold single certifications, and headlined arenas and amphitheaters around the globe.
Over the course of their career, Old Dominion has received numerous awards, accolades, and nominations from the GRAMMYs, CMAs, CMT, American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and iHeart Radio. Old Dominion are currently the reigning 8X ACM and 7X CMA “Group of the Year.” The band took home their seventh successive win for “Vocal Group of the Year” at the 2024 CMA Awards – the longest streak in CMA history. To celebrate this historic feat, the band performed a seven-show residency at Nashville’s legendary Ryman Auditorium this February, raising more than $1.25M for seven charities the band has been actively engaged with over their career. Most recently, Old Dominion took home their historic eighth consecutive “Group of the Year” win at the 2025 Academy of Country Music Awards, breaking the records for both all-time and most consecutive wins in the category.
Additional honors include ACM “New Group of the Year,” ACCA “Breakthrough Group of the Year,” AIMP “Songwriter Artist of the Year” and Music Row “Group/Duo of the Year” and “Breakthrough Artist of the Year.” In 2021, Old Dominion received two GRAMMY nominations for their song “Some People Do,” including “Best Country Song” and “Best Country Duo/Group Performance.” At the 2020 CMT Awards, the band took home their first win for “Group Video of The Year.” Frontman Matthew Ramsey was named ASCAP’s “Artist of the Year” in 2017.
Old Dominion’s latest album Memory Lane was released October 6th, 2023. Its title track made history when it became the “No. 1 Most Added Song” at Country Radio for the first two consecutive add weeks of the new calendar year, a feat which no other artist has accomplished since 2010. Old Dominion scored their record-breaking ninth No. 1 single at Country Radio with “Memory Lane.” The track achieved the most spins in a week by any duo or group, (breaking their own record on “No Such Thing As A Broken Heart”).
In September 2024, the band debuted a greatest hits compilation Odies but Goodies. The 31-track collection spans the band’s journey from lark to meaningful headliner in a way that pays tribute to what the fans ask for.
In addition to their massive radio and streaming successes, fan demand for Old Dominion’s live shows is evident week after week as the band headline sold-out arenas. They continue to break their own ticket sales records, in addition to a string of venue records, as fans can’t get enough of their stadium-worthy set.
Old Dominion is lead singer Matthew Ramsey, lead guitarist Brad Tursi, multi-instrumentalist Trevor Rosen, bassist Geoff Sprung and drummer Whit Sellers.

Country superstar returns to Mohegan Sun Arena for back-to-back nights in May
UNCASVILLE, CT (February 9, 2016) – After breaking nine attendance records – many his own – and selling in excess of 1.3 million tickets on The Big Revival Tour, Kenny Chesney wanted to harness the energy of last year’s audiences. Old Dominion are becoming Nashville’s band of songwriters on the verge of their very first #1 with “Break Up With Him.” In addition to penning Chesney’s three-week #1 “Save It For A Rainy Day,” members of the good-vibe group of musicians have written chart-toppers for Blake Shelton (“Sangria”), The Band Perry (“Better Dig Two”), Tyler Farr (“Guy Walks Into A Bar”) and Dierks Bentley (“Say You Do”).
“There is nothing like the energy of a stadium show,” Chesney said. “Old Dominion kicked the whole summer off last year with the best vibe. If we’re talking about Spread the Love, those guys are all about it. If there’s anything I want to see this summer, it’s that attitude that really defines what’s going on.”
“Two parts Mick Jagger, one part Bruce Springsteen and one part Billy Graham,” The Dallas Morning News deemed Chesney this summer – and the man hailed as “The King of the Road” takes his shows very seriously. “After last year, we’ve got a bar to clear, but I am fired up… and missing the fans already. There are a bunch more dates coming, but let’s get the first wave of major stadium shows on the calendar right now!”
