Hot Summer Fun Kicks Off At Mohegan Sun On June 25th

UNCASVILLE, CT (June 18, 2018) – Summer is finally here and Mohegan Sun is turning up the heat with our 21st annual Hot Summer Fun celebration kicking off on June 25th and running through September 2nd. The calendar is packed with exciting promotions, giveaways, events, entertainment and so much more! Everything from a Campagna T – Rex giveaway, to the return of one of the region’s best food truck festivals and acts like U2, Britney Spears and Brantley Gilbert at Mohegan Sun Arena. Hot Summer Fun 2018 is sure to be a memorable one.

Swipe your Momentum card all summer long for a chance to win a 2018 Campagna T – Rex from T – Rex of New England! Roar Into Summer Giveaway runs from June 25th to August 31st. Swipe your Momentum card once a day at any promotional kiosk and you could be driving yourself wild with Free Slot Play, Momentum Dollars or entries into the grand prize drawing! Plus, swipe your Momentum card at any promotional kiosk on Friday, August 31st between 6:00am to 4:00pm to double your total entries! The grand prize drawing will take place on Friday, August 31st at 7:00pm.

The celebrations at Mohegan Sun continue at the 2nd annual Sun Tequila Tasting taking place on Friday, July 20th, featuring an array of premium tequilas to sample, a mixology bar and Mexican – themed favorites to complement. Cigar aficionados light it up at Mohegan Sun’s Cigar Social on Saturday, August 11th when the rooftop of the Riverview Garage transforms into a cigar lover’s paradise with food trucks, live entertainment and more.
The foodies come together to wrap up the summer at The New England Food Truck Festival, taking place at the Winter Parking Lot on Saturday, September 1st & Sunday, September 2nd. The festival returns to Mohegan Sun featuring dozens of food trucks, live music, entertainment for kids, field games, a fireworks show on Saturday starting at 9:15pm and so much more. Rock the Region Mondays
Get down with the local bands in the Wolf Den! Beginning Monday, June 25th guests can catch their favorite acts from around the region and start the week off right with great drink specials in the Wolf Den – including $2.00 domestic drafts and $5.00 Jameson any way. Ca$h Dash Tuesdays
The money is let loose and flying everywhere as Ca$h Dash Tuesdays returns this summer. Inside Mohegan Sun’s Cash Cube, up to $120,000 is given away every Tuesday beginning June 26th through August 28th, from Noon to 2:00pm and 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Every hour, one lucky Momentum member playing their favorite slot machine or table game will have the chance to enter the Cash Cube. Bring a friend along that is also a Momentum member, they’ll have a chance to grab the cash in the Cash Cube! Then start the weekend with Party on the Rooftop. This 21 and over event allows guests to enjoy live tribute bands, fire pits, bars and games on top of the Riverview Parking Garage every Friday from 7:00pm – 11:00pm. Grab a $3.00 Bud Light or a $7.00 specialty cocktail and stop by the gaming tent complete with slots, blackjack tables and roulette!
