From Thursday, September 4th through Sunday, January 4th, guests can build up their entries and increase their chances to win one of two can’t-miss prizes. First Place will win a trip for two to The Big Game on Sunday, February 8th, equipped with transportation, accommodations and the once-in-a-lifetime access to the biggest game of the year! UNCASVILLE, CT (October 29, 2020) – Mohegan Sun is very pleased to announce that Kelly McKinnon has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Kelly will be rejoining the Mohegan Sun team in an executive capacity after spending the past 15 months at the Corporate division of Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE), serving as the Director of Analytics. As CFO, Kelly will oversee all aspects of finance for MGE’s flagship property, Mohegan Sun, in Uncasville, CT.
“Kelly is a driven, hands-on, team-oriented leader,” said Jeff Hamilton, President & General Manager of Mohegan Sun. “She has been such a vital part of the Finance and Analytics team at Mohegan Sun and MGE for many years, and we are extremely excited to welcome her back to the Mohegan Sun team as CFO!”
Kelly joined Mohegan Sun in 2006 as a Budget Analyst and has held multiple positions, including Financial Planning & Analysis Manager and Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, where she developed and analyzed ideas to grow the business and improve financial results. Kelly also led Mohegan Sun’s Labor & Productivity department and was instrumental in centralizing its scheduling, time and attendance functions. Kelly was promoted to Director of Analytics for MGE in 2019. In this role, she was a key contributor in various enterprise-wide business decisions and ventures, including assisting in identifying operating and cash management opportunities during MGE’s acquisitions of Casino Niagara and Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort in Niagara Falls, Canada.
Kelly holds a BS in Finance and an MBA, both from Quinnipiac University. She enjoys the outdoors, skiing and traveling, especially with her husband and two sons.

UNCASVILLE, CT (August 27, 2020) – Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE), a master developer of awe-inspiring integrated entertainment resorts (IER) worldwide, today appointed Kevin Lowry as Assistant General Manager of Mohegan Sun Connecticut. Within this new role, Kevin will be responsible for finance, gaming, cashiering, tenant and retail operations at Mohegan Sun.

Within the finance department, Kevin has held the roles of Analyst, Senior Analyst, Budgets and Analysis Manager, Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, as well as Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis over the years. He will utilize his wide range of financial knowledge as Assistant General Manager and ensure optimal performance and fiscal growth for the property.
Kevin will work alongside Jeffrey Hamilton, President and General Manager of Mohegan Sun, and the leadership team on all major initiatives. Kevin graduated from Marietta College with a Bachelor’s in Business Management and currently resides in Pawcatuck, CT with his two sons Kyle and Luke.
