Calling all thrill-seekers! Get ready to race on over to Mohegan Sun for your chance to audition for the Emmy Award-winning CBS reality series, The Amazing Race. Channel 3 WFSB will hold an open casting call on Wednesday, April 8th. Teams of two will be interviewed in The Shops concourse from 2:00pm-6:00pm for their shot at reality show stardom and the one million dollar grand prize! Get tips from Natalie and Nadiya Anderson of The Amazing Race and stick around for their Reality Check event featuring a 4:00pm Q&A and 5:00pm signing!
Natalie and Nadiya Anderson are double trouble in the world of competitive reality television. The “Twinnies” teamed up for the 21st and 24th season of The Amazing Race falling short both times of the grand prize. The two also competed on Survivor: San Juan del Sur and although Nadiya was the first to go home, Natalie stuck it out and took home the one million dollar grand prize as the Ultimate Survivor.

Spend “time” with actresses Dascha Polanco, Vicky Jeudy and Adrienne C. Moore for a live Q&A and hear what it is like to be a part of the most talked about show of the past two years!
Dascha Polanco portrays the quiet and shy inmate, Dayanara “Daya” Diaz in Orange is the New Black. Polanco’s role as Diaz was her first full-time acting career. Following her breakout success, Polanco appeared in the 2013 independent film, Gimme Shelter and the 2014 comedy, The Cobbler.
Vicky Jeudy currently plays Janae Watson, a former high school track star turned inmate on Orange is the New Black. Jeudy loves empowering the youth in the urban communities.
Adrienne C. Moore is an American actress, singer, and voice over artist. She is a series regular on Netflix’s Orange is the New Black and plays Cindy Hayes aka “Black Cindy,” a brash and bold inmate who’s not afraid to tell it like it is. Moore has also appeared on the popular series Blue Bloods and 30 Rock. On stage she has portrayed such memorable characters as Keera in Kirsten Greenidge’s world premiere of Milk Like Sugar, for which Backstage hailed her as one of the“Most Memorable Performances”. Recently, she starred in the Chevrolet commercial for its new 2014 Cruz Diesel campaign.
**Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to time restrictions, signing personalization or personal photos for signing are prohibited. Dascha Polanco, Vicky Jeudy and Adrienne C. Moore will only be signing the headshots given out at event. This event is bracelet-only. A limited number of bracelets will be distributed starting at 6:30pm at the signing stage in The Shops concourse. Participants must have a bracelet in order to gain entry into the signing line.

Fan favorite dancer and Emmy-Award winning entertainer, Derek Hough swings by The Shops at Mohegan Sun for a special Reality Check event. Get up-close-and-personal with the Dancing with the Stars pro when he signs copies of his debut book and life story, Take The Lead: Lessons from a Life in Motion.
Derek Hough is best known for his work on Dancing with the Stars. He holds the record for the most championships won, coming off his fifth win in 2013 with Glee star, Amber Riley. That same year Hough won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Choreography for the 3 dances he created on the show. His other notable achievements include World Under 21 Latin American champion, 2-time Open British champion (Blackpool), 2-time International Open to the World champion and 2-time U.S. Open champion.
