Solo artist to perform live in Arena on January 26th
UNCASVILLE, CT (November 9, 2012) — Aaron Lewis will bring the sounds of his first full-length solo album entitled The Road to Mohegan Sun. The Grammy Award-nominated, multi-platinum singer, songwriter and guitarist will take the Arena stage on Saturday, January 26th at 8:00pm.

In 2011, the Staind frontman formally arrived in the Country world with the release of his debut EP, Town Line. Highlighted by the success of the gold-selling single “Country Boy” featuring the legendary George Jones and Charlie Daniels, the seven-song EP reached #1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart and #7 on the Billboard Top 200 upon release. Cultivating rockers bring their hits to the Arena on May 31st
With songs spanning over the past twenty years, Weezer will bring all of their chart-topping hits to Mohegan Sun Arena on Thursday, May 31st at 7:30pm.

In 1992, Weezer had their first practice session in Los Angeles. Over the course of the next year, the group played the club scene, ultimately scoring a deal with DGC from their demo cassette. To date, they have released nine full-length albums, six EPs and a DVD, selling over nine million records in the United States.
Weezer jumped from Geffen to independent label Epitaph in 2010, debuting Hurley at #6 on the Billboard 200 to make it the band’s sixth top 10 album, as well as their sixth top 10 album in a row. The new album was quickly followed by two additional releases: an expanded deluxe edition of Pinkerton and Death to False Metal. The band then took to the road to play Pinkerton and their eponymous debut “Blue Album” in their entirety, in a tour titled “The Memories Tour,” dubbed “Blinkerton” by fans. In January 2012, Weezer launched the first ever Weezer Cruise aboard Carnival Cruises.

Linkin Park’s Performance At Mohegan Sun Has Been Cancelled
Mohegan Sun regrets to announce that Linkin Park has been forced to cancel their show tonight in Mohegan Sun Arena. Lead vocalist Chester Bennington is ill and under doctor’s orders to refrain from performing. The band sincerely regrets this unavoidable cancellation and apologizes to fans for any disappointment caused.
Customers that purchased tickets at the Mohegan Sun Box Office or Ticketmaster outlets should return to the point of purchase for refunds. Purchases made online at ticketmaster.com or Ticketmaster’s national toll free Charge by Phone number will be refunded automatically.

The 1st annual Avalanche Tour brings together some of the biggest names in Rock for a massive North American trek. This year’s tour runs from March 24th – May 8th and features Stone Sour, Theory of a Deadman, Skillet, Halestorm and Art Of Dying. Art Of Dying is a five-piece Rock band fronted by Jonny Hetherington. Following last year’s triumphant debut, Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) is returning to the stage this spring with “Beethoven’s Last Night.” The band is taking the show to Europe for the first time and then back to the U.S. for a limited 8 week tour. TSO founder Paul O’Neill has been working on a concept he likes to call “Rock Theater.” The material for “Rock Theater” began when Paul O’Neill and TSO set their sights on one of the most beloved and important composers the world has ever seen, Ludwig van Beethoven.
TSO creator / writer / producer Paul O’Neill explains, “I was always fascinated by Beethoven. Beethoven did not come from a rich family, made his way to Vienna which, at that time was the capitol of the musical world, and by the time he was 21, was recognized as one of the greatest piano players in the world by the likes of Mozart. By the time he was 25, he realized he was going completely deaf and if he had just crawled into a corner and given up on life, nobody would have judged him harshly. But instead he went on to write some of the greatest music that has ever been created, music that would bring joy, happiness, peace to countless billions of people but, that he himself would never hear.”
