WHAT: Mohegan Sun is excited to announce that the 2nd Annual Savor New England event on the Sun Patio has added a standout lineup of celebrity chefs and regional vendors. Adam Young, who’s popular Sift Bake Shop and A.T.Y Bar & Bonbons are located in Mohegan Sun’s Winter Entrance, will be on hand serving signature baked goods from Sift. He’ll be joined by renowned chefs Will Gilson, Michele Ragussis and Nick Calias, each offering signature food specials for guests at Savor New England. Gilson, Ragussis and Calias will also compete in the fan-favorite Chowder Competition, where attendees can sample and vote for their favorite chowder.

Roomful of Blues, the world-renowned, horn-powered, house rocking blues band, that has been delighting audiences for over 55 years is set to take the Sun Patio stage from 2:00pm – 3:30pm. On record and on stage, Roomful of Blues—led by master guitarist Chris Vachon for the past 25 years—continues to deliver its bone-shaking mix of original songs and carefully chosen covers ranging from jump, swing and proto rock ‘n’ roll to funky, contemporary blues. Performing from 4:00pm 6:00pm is the Rhode Island-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, Will Evans. Through quotable folk-inspired lyrics, breezy grooves, and roots energy, it’s as if he’s giving you permission to be that pure self you can’t always be at work or even at home.
