Straight No Chaser’s “Top Shelf” Tour Coming to Mohegan Sun Arena in December

UNCASVILLE, CT (May 6, 2024) – RIAA-certified Gold A Cappella group Straight No Chaser, known for their holiday favorites and re-imagination of iconic songs throughout the decades, today revealed the “Top Shelf” tour, their 2024 Fall run. The tour will bring their holiday flare to Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, December 6th for an 8:00pm show.

Tickets go on sale Friday, May 10th at 10:00am via Ticketmaster.com. Subject to availability, Straight No Chaser fans can purchase tickets at the Mohegan Sun Box Office starting on Saturday, May 11th.

Currently Straight No Chaser is wrapping their “Yacht Rock Tour,” and this July, they’ll pay homage to the 90s with “Summer: The 90s,” with special guests on the dates ranging from Lisa Loeb to Chris Kirkpatrick from *NSYNC.

Initially formed at Indiana University, A Cappella group Straight No Chaser emerged at the forefront of the modern day A Cappella movement and has since sold more than three million albums worldwide, garnered more than a billion streams on Pandora alone, and sold more than 1.5 million concert tickets worldwide.  In the fall of 2023, the group performed in more than 50 cities across the US with multiple sold-out shows, including a record-breaking run in Indianapolis.

Straight No Chaser Announces “Sleighin’ It Tour”

Fall 2023 run of live shows stops at Mohegan Sun Arena December 8th

UNCASVILLE, CT (May 9, 2023) – RIAA-certified Gold A Cappella group Straight No Chaser today announced the “Sleighin’ It Tour,” their fall 2023 run of live shows.  Ranked in the top 20 of Pollstar’s “Live 75” for tours at the end of 2022, Straight No Chaser’s annual fall tours have become part of family holiday traditions throughout the United States.  Straight No Chaser stops at Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, December 8th at 8:00pm.

Tickets are $30 and go on sale Friday, May 12th at 10:00am. Tickets will also be available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office beginning Saturday, May 13th, subject to availability.

Today, Straight No Chaser revealed the full track list from Yacht On The Rocks. Produced by Nicholas Niespodziani, singer, guitarist, and spiritual leader of Yacht Rock Revue, the album includes classics like “Escape (The Piña Colada Song),” “Sailing,” and “After The Love Has Gone,” as well as a guest appearance from David Paich from Toto on “Waves of Toto,” a medley of the iconic band’s greatest hits.  The album is now available for pre-order, along with several limited-edition bundle offerings, at the group’s online store here.

Straight No Chaser Returns To Mohegan Sun Arena for The 25th Anniversary Celebration

Chart-topping A Capella group Straight No Chaser will celebrate their 25th anniversary in 2022 with a 62-date fall tour and their third PBS special airing nationwide starting in June. Straight No Chaser will take the stage at 7:30pm on Thursday, December 1st at Mohegan Sun Arena.

Formed during the 1996-1997 school year at Indiana University, A Capella group Straight No Chaser, which began as a “way to meet girls” according to group member Steve Morgan, eventually emerged at the forefront of the modern day A Capella movement and has since sold more than three million albums worldwide, garnered more than a billion streams, and sold more than 1.5 million concert tickets worldwide.

“When we started Straight No Chaser as college kids at Indiana University, we never imagined that 25 years later, we’d have two albums certified gold and tour dates around the world,” said group member Walter Chase. “What a ride it has been. It has literally been a dream come true.”

In commemoration of The 25th Anniversary Celebration, Straight No Chaser will release an exclusive NFT to mark the occasion. All details will be revealed in the coming days on Straight No Chaser’s site and social platforms.

Additionally, PBS stations nationwide will air “Straight No Chaser: The 25th Anniversary Celebration” this June. The concert, filmed at the Murat Theatre at Old National Center in Indianapolis in 2019 where the group has sold out 27 shows, features the nine group members performing classic like “Proud Mary,” “Lean on Me” and “Twistin,” as well as Pop mash-ups like “Uptown Funk/Thriller.”

This fall, Straight No Chaser will release a physical version of last year’s deluxe edition of Social Christmasing, which featured an original song “Christmas Show,” written by group member Mike Luginbill and “Celebrate Me Home,” in addition to the album’s original track list, which included their signature twist on Christmas classics like “Silver Bells” and “Frosty The Snowman,” five new original songs, and a hopeful take on the Counting Crows classic, “A Long December.”

Straight No Chaser To Share Their “Influence” On North American Fall Tour

UNCASVILLE, CT (April 17, 2013) —Atlantic Records recording group Straight No Chaser has announced details of their upcoming “Under The Influence North American Tour.” The dates celebrate the upcoming release of the acclaimed a cappella group’s eagerly awaited new album, Under The Influence, set to arrive in stores and at all DSPs on May 7th.
