ty on Saturday, September 10th beginning at 9:00pm. Gronk will celebrate the memories in style at the 11,000 square-foot Mohegan Sun FanDuel Sportsbook. The party will feature drink specials, complimentary appetizers, the one-and-only DJ Whoo Kid and the debut of the “Gronk Smash Burger.” Tickets are $75 and are on sale now through Ticketmaster.com and the Mohegan Sun Box Office, subject to availability. UFC 279 featuring Chimaev Vs. Diaz as the main card will also be shown on the big screens during this party. Ticket holders will also receive a commemorative gift bag.

Michigan’s Fab Five: A Look Back takes place at 8:30pm on Saturday, November 17th; The Michigan Wolverine’s also play in Mohegan Sun Arena at Noon on November 17th
WHAT: Three former players from one of the most electrifying NCAA Division 1 teams to ever take the court will be on hand at Mohegan Sun inside the Earth Ballroom for a special appearance and Q&A session. The event features Jalen 
Rose, Jimmy King & Ray Jackson and is hosted by ESPNs Mike Greenberg. The group will relive memories and take questions related to their “Fab Five,” days in the early 1990s that took the basketball world by storm. Rose, King and Jackson, with stars Chris Webber & Juwan Howard, reached the NCAA Championship game in 1993.

ABOUT THE FAB FIVE: The 1991 University of Michigan Men’s Basketball team, known as the “Fab Five,” consisted of four McDonald’s High-school All-American’s (Howard, King, Rose & Webber) and is regarded as one of the most talented recruiting classes in NCAA Basketball history. Detroit natives Chris Webber (#1) and Jalen Rose (#5) joined Chicago native Juwan Howard (#3) and two recruits from Texas: Plano’s Jimmy King (#9) and Austin’s Ray Jackson (#84). In the first game starting together as a regular unit in February of 1992, the five freshman scored all the team’s points against Notre Dame. Four of the five members from the trend-setting team went on to play in the NBA.

Public event to honor NKOTB in recognition of multiple big-time performances at Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, June 12th
What: Mohegan Sun is proud to announce that the next Arena Walk of Fame 
inductee will be New Kids On The Block, a band that has played and packed Mohegan Sun Arena as many times as any act, where after their upcoming concert, will have played 9 performances in the last 8 years alone. That concert, set for June 12th, brings the Pop legends back with the The Main Event tour with special guests Nelly & TLC. And a few hours prior to the concert, Mohegan Sun Arena is long overdue and very excited to present one of the most influential bands of our time, their Walk of Fame star outside of the Mohegan Sun Box Office.

The award seeks to recognize those individuals who have made significant contributions to the success of Mohegan Sun as the Northeast’s premier entertainment destination.
