UNCASVILLE, CT (May 9, 2016) – Sully Erna, best known as singer and main songwriter for acclaimed Rock band Godsmack, will be stopping by Mohegan Sun for a special solo performance in the Theatre at Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, July 16th at 8:00pm.
Tickets are $25.00 and go on sale Friday, May 13th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster. Sully Erna was born and raised in the suburbs of Boston, Massachusetts. He has been a musician since the tender age of 3 years old, where he began his musical journey as a drummer. Already a proven commodity as the front-man of one of today’s most powerful Rock bands, Erna is also a successful producer, actor and multi-instrumentalist. In addition, Erna has reaped a myriad of accolades, including several industry records including twenty-one Top 10 singles, more than any other band in active Rock history, and seven #1 songs.

The heart of Boston beats within its streets. Those roads set the scene for timeless Academy Award-winning stories including The Departed, The Town and The Fighter as well as for triumphant, tear-filled championship victories by The Red Sox, The Bruins, and The Celtics. Grammy Award-nominated multi-platinum Hard Rock titans Godsmack certainly preserved their connection to the streets of Boston on their sixth full-length album for Republic Records,1000hp, that has since gone on to smash the charts and receive critical acclaim.
Outlasting tides, trends, and a torrential industry climate since forming in 1995, the quartet—Sully Erna [vocals, guitar], Tony Rombola [guitar], Robbie Merrill [bass], and Shannon Larkin [drums]—paved the way for a generation of Rock bands. Erna’s released Avalon, his first solo album outside of Godsmack, in 2010. The project marks a big departure from the style of music that Erna is typically known for, utilizing the hypnotic sounds of tribal rhythms, melodic pianos, cellos and haunting vocals.
