IN DETAIL: On Saturday, September 28th, the Sun Patio at Mohegan Sun will transform into an enchanted wonderland for a special Taylor Swift celebration like no other! At Are You Ready For It? A Musical Event, fans of the legendary Pop star will get the chance to sing along to iconic lyrics while an electrifying tribute band graces the main stage.
This premier Taylor Swift tribute band, based in Southeastern Connecticut, is vocally charged with an emphasis on harmony, leading fans on a musical journey of all Taylor’s top hits while capturing her spirit and essence. Using costumes, choreography and some of her signature elements, the tribute band is dedicated to ensuring that each performance is a celebration of the evolution of Taylor Swift’s insurmountable 18-year career. Guests are encouraged to get our their friendship bracelets and join the party!
Delicious bites will be served via food trucks and the Sun Patio Bar is serving up refreshing themed cocktails that will make everyone want to dance! A themed photo prop station will be available for guests to snag a pic with their besties before making their way to the friendship bracelet station.

UNCASVILLE, CT (June 21, 2024) –The summer is heating up at Mohegan Sun with a robust outdoor entertainment lineup featured at the Sun Patio. Located between the Riverview and Indian Summer Garages, the Sun Patio is back and better than ever with a brand-new look! Soak in the summer weather in this open-air venue with delicious food and beverage specials that include the All in Orange Whip Canned Cocktail and the Jackpot Juice Hazy IPA. Over 30 free live shows are scheduled at the new & improved Sun Patio with popular tribute concerts every Friday night from June 28th – late September, and the new outdoor Summer Concert Series brings big-time acts like Buckcherry on select weekend nights!
Party on the Sun Patio is back again during Hot Summer Fun with some of the best tribute bands the region has to offer. Over the course of 14 weeks, guests can get mouthwatering beverage specials while dancing to their favorite songs. Every Friday night, doors open at 6:30pm before bands get the party started at 8:00pm. VIP fire pit reservations are available and each fire pit includes a complimentary round of drinks, cocktail service, an Adirondak chair for each guest and a prime view of the stage. The multipurpose venue will also hold a Summer Concert Series that kicks off on Saturday, June 29th as Mike DelGuidice takes the stage at 8:00pm. The month of August features Buckcherry on Saturday, August 10th before welcoming The Docksiders on Saturday, August 24th. The Sun Patio Concert Series ends after Kimberly Perry of The Band Perry plays on Saturday, September 21st. Guests taking in the back-to-back Phish concerts inside the award-winning Mohegan Sun Arena on July 23rd & 24th are encouraged to attend the Sun Patio Tailgate Party before the show, starting at 3:00pm each day. UNCASVILE, CT (April 30, 2024) – Mohegan Sun is ready to start the summer off right with the 2nd Annual Summer Kick-Off on Saturday, May 25th! From 5:00pm – 9:00pm, guests can let loose at this epic, free bash with incredible vendors, delicious drink specials and delectable bites from food trucks like Hungry Lion, Newport Creamery and Farm to Sandwich. The Fake Experience is set to rock the brand-new Sun Patio Stage with fan favorite hits starting at 6:00pm. Plus, guests are invited to partake in a special beach ball drop at 7:30pm. The first 100 guests to attend the Summer Kick-Off will receive one free drink, courtesy of Red Bull! Seating by the firepits is available for guests on a first-come, first-served basis. All guests must be 21+ to attend the Summer Kick-Off.
Summer Kick-Off also marks the launch of the completely renovated Sun Patio. This decked-out, 36,000 square-foot outdoor space now features updated fire pits, cozy Adirondack chairs and grassy turf, adjacent to the Sun Patio Bar. Guests can dance into the breezy summer nights with live music at the Sun Patio Stage, complete with a new sound system for an optimal music experience. This open-air venue allows guests to soak in the warm weather at any time – whether they’re visiting for a special event or looking for a sunny place to sit back and relax. Over at the Sun Patio Bar, guests can enjoy six hi-definition screens (including two menu boards) and a full bar including six bartender stations while vibing to acoustic entertainment throughout the summer. The Sun Patio Bar is open Fridays from 5:00pm – 11:00pm, Saturdays from Noon – Midnight and Sundays from Noon – 9:00pm.
