Tickets for this extravagant brunch buffet are $55 for adults, $30 for guests under 21, and $10 for guests ages 3-8. Guests ages 2 and under are free. WHAT: In response to the American Red Cross experiencing unprecedented blood shortages across the country, The Mohegan Tribal Health Department is hosting a blood drive at Mohegan Sun. This blood drive is open to the public and all donors will receive a $10 Amazon gift card.

IN DETAIL: The Mohegan Tribal Health Department, in partnership with the American Red Cross, is hosting a blood drive on Wednesday, February 9th from 11:30am – 4:30pm in the Uncas Ballroom at Mohegan Sun. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, there is an urgent need to increase blood supply levels. Blood and platelet donations are critically needed to help prevent further delays in vital medical treatments.
Guests can go to redcrossblood.org and type “MOHEGAN” in the search box to sign-up. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are highly encouraged. Guests can also expedite their donation experience by completing their pre-donation screening at redcrossblood.org/rapidpass. As a special thanks, donors will receive a $10 Amazon gift card via email.

UNCASVILLE, CT (February 2, 2022) – The Connecticut Cancer Foundation (CCF) has scheduled their annual fundraising event, the 34th Annual Celebrity Dinner and Memorabilia Auction for Friday, February 25, 2022 at 5:30pm in the Uncas Ballroom. This year’s “WIN” Dinner will highlight CCF’s connection to baseball, akin to rounding the bases of cancer and coming home for a WIN against cancer. Featuring NY Yankee All-Stars Chris Chambliss at 1st base (cancer diagnosis), Willie Randolph at 2nd base (cancer treatment), Graig Nettles at 3rd base (financial hardship) and striving for home plate for a “WIN” against cancer – Hall of Famer Johnny Bench! All played in the 1976 World Series! Emcee Bobby Valentine, former MLB player and manager, will add his flair and baseball expertise to this spectacular sports program.

CCF was founded in 1987 by Connecticut native John Ellis, a former catcher for the New York Yankees and cancer survivor to financially assist Connecticut cancer patients and their families and fund cancer research. The Beach Boys: Holiday Harmonies also takes center stage this New Year’s Eve at Mohegan Sun. Fans can close out the year right with Mike Love and The Beach Boys as they celebrate the season with a mix of holiday classics from the band’s Christmas album and more. Join the iconic band for a show to remember at 8:00pm on December 31st at Mohegan Sun Arena. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster and the Mohegan Sun Box Office.
The famous Boogie Wonder Band also returns to the Wolf Den for another NYE performance, taking fans back in time to the 70s & 80s. This 10-piece band will play Funk grooves and Disco-strutting jams in the Wolf Den, for two free shows at 8:00pm and 11:00pm on Friday, December 31st. Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis and guests may line up no sooner than three hours before the show. Guests must be 21 years of age or older to enter the Wolf Den.
Now through January 9th, Mohegan Sun guests can travel through the Free Winter Wonderland & Santa’s Workshop Escape Room, located in The Shops at Mohegan Sun across from Todd English’s Tuscany. 7th annual event benefiting veterans and active duty military to take place in the Uncas Ballroom
UNCASVILLE, CT (October 11, 2021) – Vets Rock, a free event where Mohegan Sun and the community come together to celebrate active duty military and veterans with a day of valuable programs and resources, returns Saturday, November 13th. Special services featured in the Uncas Ballroom include a career fair presented by Mohegan Sun, Veteran Service Organizations, Educational Services, Save-A-Suit, and companies looking to provide benefits to veterans and military members.
Opening Ceremony
Vets Rock 2021 will begin with an opening ceremony hosted by Gil Simmons of WTNH in The Shops concourse at 11:00am. The opening ceremony includes a salute to veterans and active duty military personnel remarks by invited dignitaries, and a display by the Tribal Colour Guard.
Vets Rock Expo
From 12:00pm – 6:00pm, guests are invited to partake in the free Vets Rock Expo in the Earth Expo & Convention Center. The expo features over 50 veteran services organizations and a career fair hosted by Mohegan Sun. The Save-A-Suit program will also be on-hand, outfitting up to 100 veterans with professional attire. Pre-registration through the website is required to participate in Save-A-Suit. Guests can also donate professional attire at the entrance of the Uncas Ballroom.

As a thank you to our troops, both past and present, Mohegan Sun regularly offers a military discount to all active duty military personnel, veterans and military dependents at more than 40 shops and dining locations across property.
The Mohegan Tribe also provided 100 seats to the Mohegan Sun Arena’s Dashboard Confessional event. If you’re a veteran or active duty member looking for tickets to the Saturday night event, go to the website and register. Tickets are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
