The music icon performs live on Sunday, March 15th
UNCASVILLE, CT (September 10, 2025) – Mohegan Sun is excited to announce that legendary musician John Oates will bring an unforgettable live performance to The Cabaret Theatre (The Cab) at Mohegan Sun on Sunday, March 15th during this 7:00pm show. The Good Road Band will join Oates in support.
Tickets to see John Oates and his timeless classics go on sale Friday, September 12th via Ticketmaster.com. Tickets are also available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office starting Saturday, September 13th, subject to availability.
Although many people around the world know him as the co-creator of the Pop group Hall & Oates, this versatile artist’s musical roots run deep. As a young child in the early 1950s John’s life and influences parallel the evolution of American Rock and Roll. Playing and singing from the age of five he was born into a life of music. “I am old enough to remember music before the birth of Rock and Roll so when it hit, I was aware that something new and groundbreaking had happened”. Chuck Berry, Little Richard, the Everly Brothers and Elvis laid the foundation and the regional sounds crackling out of the AM radio from labels like Stax Volt/ Specialty / Sun / Chess were Oates’ sonic pallet from which to draw inspiration.
In the early 1960s, when the folk revival swept the college campuses, John emersed himself in songs he heard from all the newly rediscovered artists, many of whom traced their careers back to the 1920s and 30s at the beginning of phonograph recordings. Living in Philadelphia at that time John haunted the coffee houses and festivals to hear folks like Mississippi John Hurt, Doc Watson, Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee and spent many Saturday nights at the fabled Uptown Theater to experience R&B greats like Sam and Dave, Otis Redding, the Temptations, Curtis Mayfield and James Brown. It was from these early influences that John Oates became the musician he is today. A keeper of the flame, an Americana amalgamation of all that he heard and all that has come before him.
Now Oates has turned up the wick on his latest solo project the more groove oriented and Pop R&B influenced self-titled OATES album…a modern collection of new original songs that will remind fans of the classic Soul he produced in the 70s and 80s but again always playing homage to the roots of the music that made him who he is today.

A brand-new festival set to Feature Coastal Cuisine, Entertainment, Cultural flair, and more arrives on the Sun Patio this August
UNCASVILLE, CT (May 29, 2025) – Mohegan Sun is excited to announce another brand-new festival, Taste of the Mediterranean, slated for the revamped Sun Patio on Saturday, August 23rd! From 2:00pm – 6:00pm, guests can let the flavors of the Mediterranean transport them – no plane ticket required. From artisan charcuterie spreads to hand-filled cannoli, Taste of the Mediterranean at Mohegan Sun brings together regional favorites for a one-day celebration of coastal cuisine, entertainment, and cultural flair. Additionally, attendees can take in the sights and sounds of the Med with a live DJ and dance performances celebrating the cultural traditions of the coast.

UNCASVILLE, CT (April 18, 2024) – Today Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band – Steve Lukather, Edgar Winter, Colin Hay, Warren Ham, Hamish Stuart and Gregg Bissonette announced they will be playing 12 shows during their Fall run that includes a Mohegan Sun Arena show on Friday, September 20th at 8:00pm.

From his beginnings with The Beatles in the 1960s, Ringo has been one of the brightest musical luminaries in the world. Throughout his career, he has enjoyed continued success, between 1970 and 2023 he has released 20 solo studio albums and 4 consecutive EPs, including the most recent Rewind Forward. Ringo formed his first All Starr Band in 1989 and has been touring since. Ringo has received nine GRAMMY® Awards, and has twice been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame — first as a Beatle and then as solo artist.
He has acted in over 15 films, received an Academy Award®, and has been nominated as an actor for an Emmy®. Ringo has published 8 books; had a stint as a male fashion model, and that same year went behind the lens as the photographer for some Foo Fighters PR photos. Ringo is also a visual artist and has had numerous exhibitions of his work and his “Peace Sculpture” is on permanent display in the Beverly Hills Park. Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Daryl Hall had an exciting 2023 on a solo tour with longtime friend and fellow Hall of Fame inductee support act, Todd Rundgren. Daryl also recently performed in front of 65,000 people at the historic American Express BST Hyde Park. And, a new season of his award-winning “Live from Daryl’s House” returned on November 1st on Hall’s dedicated YouTube channel.
Elvis Costello & The Imposters with Charlie Sexton toured recently to rave reviews.
