UNCASVILLE, CT (November 28, 2017) –  Bring 2017 to an end and toast to the New Year during Mohegan Sun’s all-night New Year’s Eve celebration on Sunday, December 31st. Some of the biggest, over-the-top NYE celebrations are taking place all across the property, including festivities in the Uncas Ballroom, The Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House, Mohegan Sun Arena and at multiple night clubs.

Mohegan Sun’s “Party into the New Year”
Celebrate New Year’s Eve at Mohegan Sun’s “Party into the New Year!” Starting at 10:30pm in the Uncas Ballroom, the most extravagant New Year celebration gets underway with dancing and music by NYC’s DJ PS1, an open bar, a champagne toast at Midnight and breakfast buffet as we ring in 2018. Tickets start at $100.00 and are available to purchase at the Mohegan Sun Box Office and ticketmaster.com. The night of the event, tickets can be purchased for $150.00 at the door. Countdown Party at The Shops at Mohegan Sun
Countdown to the New Year at The Shops at Mohegan Sun alongside friends, family and other partygoers from 9:00pm to 2:00am! Enjoy music spun by DJae Melee, high energy performance by The Jat Crew Dancers and a countdown to Midnight concluding with an extraordinary pyrotechnic display. Hats, horns and tiaras will be available at Summer and Winter Coat Checks, Sky Valet and various other venues starting at 5:00pm (limited quantities, available while supplies last, first-come, first-served).

Nightlife
VISTA Lounge sets the vibe at Wombi Rock with a classy NYE party starting at 9:00pm featuring music by DJ Joe Moore. Tickets start at $60.00 and are available to purchase at ticketmaster.com or by calling 1.800.745.3000. The night of the event, tickets can be purchased for $100.00 at the door. Across the way, dance the night away during a NYE party inside Avalon. From 9:00pm to 2:00am, Tom Macari brings the hottest music for the final celebration of 2017. Tickets start at $75.00 per person and increase to $100.00 per person based on availability. The Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House hosts an epic New Year’s Eve Party featuring music by DJ Mike City, starting at 9:00pm. Grab a bite to eat and some drinks on New Year’s Eve at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville. The NYE party begins at 10:00pm with live music by the band Kick.

Entertainment
The entertainment continues with a live performance by Robin Thicke inside Mohegan Sun Arena on Sunday, December 31st at 8:00pm. Tickets are $39.00 and are available through the Mohegan Sun Box Office and ticketmaster.
At the Wolf Den, the best Disco Funk group around, Boogie Wonder Band, will be performing free shows at 8:00pm and 11:00pm. Come early as seating is limited. All guests must be 21 or older.

Fashion enthusiasts will have the chance to buy and sell high-end luxury handbags while enjoying an exclusive cocktail party
Mohegan Sun will be teaming up with the leading source in luxury gently-used handbags, Fashionphile for Designer Diva on Friday, November 8th. This lavish cocktail party will be held at VISTA Lounge from 8:00pm to 10:00pm and will include a complimentary-themed party drink, luxury bags on display available for purchase and a chance to win a high-end designer handbag.
Guests will also have the opportunity to bring in their gently used Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Gucci and Hermes bags to exchange for cash. Fashionphile will be buying and selling luxury bags at Mohegan Sun’s Convention Center during the event. Each exchange will earn participants a free entry into the party.
The following day on Saturday, November 9th, Fashionphile will host another buying and selling event in the Convention Center from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. Handbags will be for sale from Fashionphile as well as buying opportunities for Fashionphile to buy gently used handbags from guests. Participation will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Mohegan Sun Launches All-New Hot Summer Fun Lineup

$500,000 cash is up for grabs along with weekly car giveaways, celebrity sightings, pool parties and the hottest tour stops

UNCASVILLE, CT  – Bigger. Better. Hotter. Just some of the words people will be saying about Mohegan Sun’s new Hot Summer Fun lineup. Now entering its 16th year, Mohegan Sun decided it was time to spice things up a bit. As part of this year’s revamped Hot Summer Fun celebrations, which kicks off June 23rd and runs through September 1st, there will be bigger fireworks displays, better giveaways and hotter entertainment.

Fireworks Extravaganzas

Mohegan Sun is making a bang this summer, and a big one, as they host three large Hot Summer Fun parties on the rooftop of the Riverview Garage. Open to all ages, the fun kicks off at 5:00pm and includes games for kids of all ages, carnival food favorites and samples of summer treats from CT based Farmers Cow, as well as Mohegan Sun’s Tiki Bar for guests 21+. These special celebrations will be held on Sunday, June 23rd to kick off Hot Summer Fun, on Thursday, July 25th and on Sunday, September 1st to wrap up summer. NOTE: Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Other various events will be taking place throughout the summer including Mohegan Sun’s Signature Events series. Mad-Dash Mondays

Over $500,000 cash is up for grabs this summer at Mohegan Sun with Mad-Dash Mondays. Starting June 24th, each Monday throughout the summer, 10 lucky Player’s Club members have the chance to walk away with their share of $50,000. Every half hour from Noon to 2:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm, one lucky Player’s Club member playing at their favorite slot machines will have a chance to enter the Cash Cube containing $5,000.

Take Two Tuesdays

Mohegan Sun will have you seeing double every Tuesday throughout the summer. Beginning Tuesday, June 25th, Player’s Club members playing their favorite slot machines will earn double points from 6:00am to Midnight. Not a gamer? Not a problem. Seasons Buffet will be having specials throughout the day. Cure the midweek blues with Spin to Win Wednesdays at Mohegan Sun. Each Wednesday beginning on June 26th from Noon to 8:00pm, Player’s Club members will have the opportunity to win at least $10.00 and up to $1,000 in Free Slot Play with PowerSpin, one of Mohegan Sun’s PowerPlay Bonusing features.
Guests can also enjoy the popular Wine Wednesdays. Held on the terrace of Todd English’s Tuscany each Wednesday at 6:00pm, enjoy food, wine, tapas and more with special wine-themed events including Tastings & Tapas. Free Ride Thursdays

What’s better than a car giveaway? How about 10! Throughout Hot Summer Fun, Mohegan Sun is giving away a car each Thursday beginning June 27th. To qualify, Player’s Club members just need to be playing their favorite slot machine or table game between Noon and 8:00pm. Each week, one lucky guest will walk away with a car, but they aren’t the only winner. Guests playing around the winner could also receive a $50.00 gas credit good at Mohegan Sun Mobil Gas Station & Convenience Store.
On Thursday nights, things heat up with the return of GLO At The Pool, New England’s only night-time pool party.
