Showcasing her extraordinary photography book, Bruce Springsteen In Focus 1980-2012, Rothenberg sits down with fans inside The Cabaret Theatre for a live Q&A session. Afterward, she takes to The Shops at Mohegan Sun to sign copies of her pictorial tribute to “The Boss” on the first night of his sold-out Mohegan Sun Arena show. Rothenberg returns on Sunday at 4:00pm to sign books before Springsteen’s second sold-out show inside the Arena.
At the age of 16, Debra L. Rothenberg fell in love with the music of Bruce Springsteen. Her love for his music and her strong passion for photography helped shape her career path from that moment forward. Rothenberg has worked as a concert photographer for the New York Daily News since 1999. Rothenberg is an accomplished professional photographer with her work being published in top magazines such as Rolling Stone, People, Us Weekly, Q Magazine, Time and Newsweek.

Mary Kay Andrews, Colleen Hoover, Jamie McGuire And Abbi Glines To Host Mohegan Sun’s Winning Authors Series

These renowned authors will discuss their work and sign copies of their books for fans on November 9th and 15th

For the first time in Winning Authors history, Mohegan Sun will be hosting back-to-back events during the month of November. On Saturday, November 9th, New York Times bestselling author Mary Kay Andrews will be discussing her latest book, Christmas Bliss, in time for the holiday season. A live discussion will take place in The Cabaret Theatre at 4:00pm followed by a book signing in The Shops at Mohegan Sun at 5:00pm.
Just six days later, New York Times bestsellers and Atria Indie Authors, Colleen Hoover, Jamie McGuire and Abbi Glines will host another Winning Authors event on November 15th as part of Mohegan Sun’s Diva Friday programming. A live Q&A about the spicy “New Adult” genre will be held in The Cabaret Theatre at 8:00pm, followed by a book signing in The Shops at Mohegan Sun at 9:00pm.
Mohegan Sun’s Winning Authors program has featured such authors as Harlan Coben, Sue Grafton, Nora Roberts, Robin Cook, Lee Child and John Saul, among many others.

Swin Cash to be featured at Winning Authors event at Mohegan Sun on March 9th

WHAT: Swin Cash, UConn alumna, WNBA player and author, will be featured in a Winning Authors event on March 9th at Mohegan Sun with her brand-new book, Humble Journey: More Precious Than Gold.

IN DETAIL: She was part of the team that led Geno’s UConn Huskies to two NCAA championships before going on to become a two-time Olympic gold medalist and on March 9th, Swin Cash is visiting Mohegan Sun with her new book, Humble Journey: More Precious Than Gold, for a very special Winning Authors event.
The free event will kick off in The Cabaret Theatre at 3:00pm with a live discussion followed by a signing event at 3:30pm in The Shops concourse.  Humble Journey: More Precious Than Gold will be released on March 6th and available for purchase at Spin Street in The Shops concourse.  Cash is part of a list of outstanding authors that have participated in Winning Authors including Jerry West, Nora Roberts, Harlan Coben, Sue Grafton, Marcia Clark and Robin Cook.

ABOUT SWIN CASH: Born in Pennsylvania, Swin Cash quickly became one of UConn Women’s Basketball’s “golden girls” after helping to lead them to 2 NCAA championships, one of which was an undefeated, 39-0 season.  After graduating in 2002 as an All-American, Swin was selected 2nd overall in the 2002 WNBA draft by the Detroit Shock.   While in Detroit, she helped lead the Shock to 2 WNBA championships including the organization’s first ever championship title.  Swin then went on to play for the Seattle Storm and the Chicago Sky, where she plays today.  In 2004 & 2012, she was part of the United States Women’s Olympic Basketball teams to win gold medals.

Mohegan Sun Welcomes Back The Connecticut Author’s Trail with Gina Barreca

Connecticut libraries will host a variety of local authors throughout summer with the finale to take place in The Cabaret Theatre on September 13th with Gina Barreca


Mohegan Sun is pleased to welcome Connecticut’s own, Gina Barreca to a very special Winning Authors event set to take place on Thursday, September 13th at 7:00pm.  Now in its fourth year, this free event is part of the The Connecticut Authors Trail; an event that consists of various libraries in eastern Connecticut showcasing prominent and talented authors who either live in or are associated with the Nutmeg State.  Other library signing dates will feature authors such as Pam Lewis, Peggy Gaffney, Pearl Dexter, James Rourke and Eileen Kaplan.

ABOUT MARCIA CLARK
After receiving her law degree from UCLA and being admitted into the California State Bar, Marcia Clark would go on to be a deputy district attorney for Los Angeles, California, where she lives today.  She successfully prosecuted nineteen homicides by the time she was involved in the O.J. Simpson murder trial.  After being the lead prosecutor in one of the most publicized and controversial trials in American history, Clark wrote the book Without A Doubt, where she detailed her experience of the trial and events that transpired.
She then entered the world of crime thrillers with her fiction debut, Guilt By Association, which was released in April of 2011and was featured in May of 2011 as part of Clark’s first visit to Mohegan Sun’s Winning Authors.  Dedicating herself to a “book-a-year” pace, Clark will release Guilt by Degrees on May 8, 2012 which is the second book in the series following Guilt by Association. Clark has also been a special correspondent for Entertainment Tonight, contributes a column to the popular news reporting and opinion website, The Daily Beast and has been asked to weigh in on many hot legal topics including the recent Casey Anthony trial.
